Dreamweaver image question

I try to add a picture from a web site on my web site as an image that is a link. Can someone tell me please how to do this. I tried to go and save the site as a pdf file, but then the alignment of sites is not quite the same thing. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thank you.

If you are on Windows: open your site in a browser, the size, if necessary, Prt Scr
(key). Which copies the screen to the Clipboard. Open your image editor and
Paste the Clipboard into a new image. Alto!

    I use Dreamweaver to publish a Web site created in iWeb to a Linux server and am having a problem with some audio files based on JavaScript.

    Consider the following code:

    < div id = "id9" style = "height: 68px;" left: 161px; position: absolute; top: 380px; Width: 144px; z-index: 1; "class ="style_SkipStroke_2">"

    < img style = "height: 104px;" Width: 102px; "src = Music_files/sambatuquecoverart_3.jpg""/ >

    < script type = "text/javascript" > <!--

    writeMovie4();

    --> < /script >

    < / div >

    This is the corresponding code in the associated JS file:

    function writeMovie3()

    {detectBrowser (); if (windowsInternetExplorer)

    {document.write (' < object id = "id8" classid = "clsid:02BF25D5 - 8 c 17 - 4B 23 - BC80 - D3488ABDDC6B" codebase = "http://www.apple.com/qtactivex/qtplugin.cab" width = "102" height = "16" > < param name = "src" value="Media/06%20E%20Morio.mov" / > < param name = "controller" value = "true" / > < param name = value "autoplay" = "false" / > < param name = value "Scale" = "tofit" / > < param name = value "volume" = "100" / > < param name = value "loop" = "false" / > < / object > ') ;} }

    Another yew (isiPhone)

    {document.write (' < object id = "id8" type = "video/quicktime" width = "102" height = "16" > < param name = "src" value="Media/06%20E%20Morio.mov"/ > < param name = "controller" value = "true" / > < param name = value "Scale" = "tofit" / > < / object > ') ;}}

    on the other

    {document.write (' < object id = "id8" type = "video/quicktime" width = "102" height = "16" data="Media/06%20E%20Morio.mov" > < param name = "src" value="Media/06%20E%20Morio.mov"/ > < param name = "controller" value = "true" / > < param name = value "autoplay" = "false" / > < param name = value "Scale" = "tofit" / > < param name = value "volume" = "100" / > < param name = value "loop" = "false" / > < / object > ') ;}}}

    In a folder named Media is the 06 E Morio.mov file.

    When I view the page Music.html locally, I see the graphics standard that appears with audio files - a horizontal thing, metallic color with a button you can push to start audio and a little button that slowly moves to the right until the song is finished. But when I view the page online, I don't see anything.

    I tried to rename the audio file to 06_E_Morio.mov (to replace spaces with underscores), then replace every occurrence of %20 in the code of the JS file with underscore as well. But who killed on the spot.

    I had a lot of problems with links that included capital letters and so does not correspond with images or JS files which were tiny. So, I guess that this problem has to do with either a value that should or should not have a capital letter or a question of space - either I need to replace %20 with underscores, or I need to insert characters to underscores in names of the audio files, etc.

    Can anyone offer any suggestions?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Use the Dreamweaver, Insert - Media - plug-in for insert quicktime files in dreamweaver.

    It is for files quicktime video, but the procedure is the same for audio - http://www.layersmagazine.com/using-quicktime-videos-with-dreamweaver.html.

    What image? What is wrong with him? And well, you know how bad your inveterate absolute positioning as a page layout tool is?

  • LOOK for iOS: icons &amp; launch Image question

    Start the Image:

    AIR was so changed since I used it the last time, I can't really know anything, the documentation is a little confusing for me. Could someone of you please answer my question? For some, it would be fairly simple.

    My application is exclusively for iPads, only works in landscape mode, so I've included images of launch 2, whose name: Default.png & [email protected]. (I named them after reading this: ) http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/air/build/WS901d38e593cd1bac1e63e3d129907d2886-8000.html )

    When I copied the final .ipa file to my iPad 2, and its launch image appeared in Portrait mode! So, I'm totally confused that how many launch I provide images and what should be their names? I use Flash Professional CC to publish, I have included images of launch in publication settings, so is there any order I must follow or order in the files just doesn't metter? Please keep it carefully considered that this app is only for iPads (specified in the publishing dialog box) and only works in landscape (both, left and right).

    Icons:

    I followed the above Web page and Flash Professional CC has provided these icons: 29 x 29, 48 x 48, 50 x 50, 58 x 58, 72 x 72, 100 x 100, 144 x 144 and 1024 x 1024. I know 50 x 50 icon is created by air 48 x 48, and yet I have provided it and icon 512 x 512 is only for the purpose of development, we provide manually while downloading on App Store, so I did not plan it.

    When I copied final. IPA to iTunes, iTunes doesn't show the application icon as it allows to determine the development-ipa. So, I just want confirm is that normal or I missed something?

    Finally, I copied final. IPA for my iPad 2, when I started, I noticed that first of all it show image 'launch' in portrait (as mentioned above) and then can be 1-2 seconds, the launch went image and it showed a blank (black) screen until my application has started. The black and white screen showed for 3-4 seconds. Is this normal?

    Thank you.

    Hey Yusuf,.

    "Default.png" is a bitmap portrait for iPhone, iPhone 3 and iPhone 3GS.

    ---

    For iPad 1, 2 & Mini, you will need an image 1024 x 768 called "Default - Landscape.png.

    For the iPad 3 and 4, you will need a 2048 x 1536 "[email protected]."

    ---

    So all you have to do is to include these images in the publication of launch settings and that's all, there is no special orders and you don't require other images 'Default' than these two. This should also fix your white screen problem.

    It is normal for release builds do not show their application icon in iTunes, you will notice that when you right click and press "Get Info" on an application, you should be able to see the icon.

    Hope that helps,

    O.

  • background image question

    I have posted this as well in the DW forum... but thought I would post it here as well:

    I have a question about a background image and how to make it works on one of my sites. On this site http://www.californiasun.com/

    they use a background image that is 1920 x 1200, but it does not appear "as" big on the screen.  How do you get an image this size to fit perfectly on the screen?

    I did an image 1920 x 1200 and 3/4 of it is not displayed.

    Thanks in advance.

    You don't see their whole image unless your screen is larger than the image. They simply brought their background image. Here's the CSS:

    body {
         background: url(../images/bg.jpg) no-repeat center top #1D454D;
    }

  • In Fireworks/Dreamweaver image alignment problem

    Hello!

    For my webbie, I made an image of 'big' using Photoshop and brought in Fireworks (I use CS4 programs btw). I slit to the top of the image based on the table, I wanted to, and each section has exported as .png files (it should be png for various reasons). My image size is 600px by 800px w h.

    So, I create a table in Dreamweaver and in each cell, I insert the .png files.

    Now, my problem is that

    some cells are not aligned correctly (in two places) and eventually shifing the whole line on so it extends.

    You can see this problem on the screenshots of two I have:

    http://i993.Photobucket.com/albums/AF60/CrescentChi/Picture2.PNG

    and

    http://i993.Photobucket.com/albums/AF60/CrescentChi/picture1.PNG

    Now, I know that the logical thing is to check that each row adds up to 800px.

    I already did and here are the steps for each cell:
    For line 2, I: 341, 130 and 329.
    For line 4, I: 166, 93, 93, 96, 93, 95 and 164.

    And as you can see, these add up to 800.

    I just end up with a sort of space between my cells...

    the pictures I have provided shows that the range of property is when I click a cell or one of the spaces between cells.

    Do you know what I'm doing wrong?

    Thanks for your time to research and help! < 3

    Again, this isn't a valid HTML document. Your page is running in Quirks Mode, which means that browsers do not know how to make.   Where did you get this code?  She is certainly not DW.

    In DW, tap file > New > Page > basic HTML

    Switch to code view.  Copy & paste your code from table into the new document, and save it as a file test.html.

  • Basic images questions

    Hello

    I have not used the Flash in a long time, but have been selected to work on an old Flash (.fla) file as a previous employee filed. I use Flash CS4 on Windows XP Pro.

    Very simple stuff, but yet I can't solve my problem despite following instructions on the removal of frames. I tried the instructions at http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Flash/10.0_UsingFlash/WSd60f23110762d6b883b18f10cb1fe1af6-7ec8 a.html #WSd60f23110762d6b883b18f10cb1fe1af6-7ec2a (remove an image or sequence of images) without success.

    I have a file 1269 requiring the first 260 frameworks to make them disappear completely. That's all! Yet, I tried selecting frames (so they are highlighted in blue), to remove via the context menu with no luck. By selecting these frameworks and pressing the delete key translates all the frames of 1269 being deleted.

    I tried to erase the images and other things. I tried to select the pictures I want and copy into another file unsuccessfully - all 1269 executives get stuck. I tried to avoid the keyframe at the beginning. I tried to insert a blank Keyframe to the 260 framework, but he did restart the whole frames 1269 a from there.

    I apologize for such a simple question, but any help would be appreciated.

    you will need to edit mov files or

    hide the mov for the duration of the logo intro sequences and show something else during that time.

  • Flash/Dreamweaver newbie questions

    Hello world. I'm a newbie, so please bear with me.

    I'm building my first website in Dreamweaver, but I want to create the home page in Flash. When the user enters the site for the first time, the homepage will play a short animation of my logo, and then the navigation buttons appear at the end. The buttons will host on working capital. However, if the user returns to the Home Page of another page in the site, I don't want the introductory animation to play repeatedly; I want the user to see just the static state of the Home Page, but with all the current navigation buttons and active rollover behaviors.

    So my questions are:

    1. I thought to build this page in Flash CS3 as my index.html page and, at the end of the introductory animations, using ActionScript to make the browser jump to a page similar in appearance, but without the introductory animation and save this page as home.html. The whole House all site links would point to this second file html instead. This sounds like a good way to do this?

    2. If this approach is reasonable, how could import Flash pages in Dreamweaver? For the index.html file, for example, I just name the file "index.fla" Flash and set the publishing settings to generate a file named html result?

    (I must confess that I'm still not sure that understand how to integrate these two applications when you create web pages with Flash).

    Thanks for all help!

    Tom

    Tom,

    > When the user enters the site for the first time, home
    > page will play a short animation of my logo, then the
    > navigation buttons appear at the end.

    Food for thought: How do you incorporate a navigation of these
    buttons in the rest of the site? You mentioned that only the home page
    would focus on the Flash, if you plan to reproduce the functionality
    (some of them, in any case... non-Flashy things) with HTML inside of
    your site?

    > if the user returns to the Home Page of another page in
    > the site, I don't want the introductory animation to play through
    > yet;

    To do this, you will need to use a little ActionScript to determine if
    or not, the user has already been to the home page. By coincidence, community
    MX has just published a tutorial on this topic today:

    http://www.communitymx.com/abstract.cfm?cid=124BC
    (This is a subscription site, but this article is free).

    I wrote this article, if you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.

    > So my questions are:
    >
    > 1. I was thinking about building this page in Flash CS3 as my index.html
    > page and, at the end of initiation, using animations
    > ActionScript to make the browser accesses a similar page, but
    > without the animation of introduction and saving this page as home.html.

    This could be a useful alternative approach, for sure.

    > All the whole of home site links would point to this second
    > html file instead. This sounds like a good way to do this?

    Yes, it is certainly a good way to do, because this means that the animation
    will play again for all those who visit your site after will disappear. The
    Code suggested in my article is only about a "play it once" approach.

    > 2. If this approach is sensible, how can import Flash pages
    > in Dreamweaver?

    From a technical point of view, Flash doesn't create pages, even if this can help
    refer to the content Flash in this way. Dreamweaver is an HTML authoring tool
    pages and Flash is a tool for creating multimedia content which is incorporated
    in the HTML pages. Of course, you can create some Flash content that fills completely
    a page, but you still have to deal with a "shell" HTML element

    > For the index.html file, for example, would just name the Flash file
    > "index.fla" and set the publishing settings to generate a consequence
    > named html file?

    Honestly, it doesn't matter what you call the Flash file. When it is
    the Flash content will be a published SWF file, and you use Dreamweaver
    to integrate your SWF (s) into your index.html file (and possibly your)
    file index2.html or home.html and home2.html files).

    Ideally, you should consider making your content available to as many
    viewers as possible. This means that from the lowest common denominator
    (HTML), then following the principle of "progressive enhancement" to improve the
    the appearance of your site with CSS, then potentially JavaScript (for
    those who have active JavaScript) or Flash (for people who have the)
    Flash Player plugin installed), and so on.

    If you Google SWFObject, you can find a freeware JavaScript solution for
    Flash presentation for those who with the plugin installed (certainly, there
    just wait that most people do) and for presenting "plain old HTML" to
    people who do not.

  • 7280 scans are not full page; cultures software image; Question of TWAIN?

    I have a new c7280 on Vista Home ultimate. I downloaded and installed all the drivers and software updates that have been listed for the site of HP C7280. When you try to scan using the web tool (JAVA app to the deposit of cheques online), picture is cropped automatically to the party 'text only' image (the empty part of the image is not sent). I have 'automatic cropping"off in the center of solutions and analysis produced initially a picture full page, but before being sent to the computer, the image is cropped, and that part of the image is sent.  The two following threads describe similar issues, involves a problem of TWAIN driver, but does provide some solutions.

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/PSG/board/message?board.ID=scan&thread.ID=1379

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/PSG/board/message?board.ID=scan&thread.ID=798

    The problem unrelated to sizes of large file for the pdf scans is well documented on this site, and the solution is to replace the Solution Center (SC) version 10 with v12 (for c6380).  Indications for this procedure are shown here:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/PSG/board/message?board.ID=scan&message.ID=2307#M2307

    Does anyone know if there is a software fix or the solution to my problem of automatic framing of the scanner?

    Will install SC v12 for the correct c6380 than this supposed driver TWAIN for the C7280 problem (i.e. SC made v12 difficulty other issues other than the issue of large file size v10?).  Please post similar problems here; I also intend to try the customer service and will post their response here.

    Well, I tried customer HP - what a joke. They provided 3 separate solutions, and each was worse than the others. Two of their suggested solutions were things I had already tried and documented in my original request!  I am shocked by client it's terrible to HP support is - a continuous theme this entire Forum.

    If, after deletion, with the HP customer support, I took a chance and installed HP Solution Center Version 12 (SC v12) for HP c6380, and it worked! When parsing using java based web app via Twain, the image is cropped is more. I think I've also solved the "pdf scans have too large file size" problem, but I had not yet known who. " It seems that SCv12 fixes a lot of problems for HP all in those running Vista.

    Here is a link for directions:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/PSG/board/message?board.ID=scan&message.ID=2307

    Some additional notes:

    1. I do NOT uninstall all software before you run that 6380 full install profgram

    2. in the installation of new software for C6380, choice for what software to install, etc. have been through hyperlinks in the installation window, vice drag the boxes that were in the C7280 installation program. Minor difference, but I almost missed the opportunity to install only the SC.

    3. my everything on a printer (c7280) is connected via the wireless network. When installing SCv12 via the instructions above, during installation, the program will ask how the printer is connected. Choose "USB" and click the box that says «if you can't connect your device now...» "Installation will be completed, you will need to restart, and when the installation continues after the reboot, it offers you the possibility to add a connection to your desktop icon. You don't need to do this, just to complete the installation, and then open the solution Center, and it will find your printer. Mine is always listed as the c7280.

  • Reconstruction image question

    Hello

    As a test set up, I created a BMP image, which I may break down and you want to rebuild.

    Decomposition:

    In table 1 d, 30pixels at the same time, line-by-line (180 pixels wide image = 6 iterations) as can be seen in the first loop of the image.

    This is why the first 30 items of table 1 d will be pixel 0,0 - 0.29, thirty next will be 1, 0-1, 29 etc.

    I then try to reconstruct the image, and looks like it works except for the last row of 30 pixels, where the picture is WEIRD Stuff, looks like asymmetrical...

    I have attached the two my labview code and the image of the reconstructed image.

    Decomposition is a bit confusing, and if necessary I can provide a description of the photo.

    Thank you.

    Yes, your bug was in the first loop. Here's what I would do instead.

    (I modified to make it work on the png and without the color card). There are a lot of things that can still be improved, but this should help you get started.

    I think that the use of "insert" into array in your last loop is incorrect, because it pushes the elements of the initialized array, making the result twice the size. Replacement table subset seems more correct now to the initialized size table.

  • Windows 7 Imaging question about drivers

    Hello, I'm doing some research on the Internet and can't find what I need for this task.  I want to make an image of Windows 7 on a laptop, but I want to load the drivers for the other 20 laptops and desktops we have so I have a small beautiful image.  Is there a documentation proving that I can download all the drivers and then change a registry entry to make Windows look like this directory to load drivers when the image is used on another PC?  Or maybe is there another way I can do this without having to purchase any additional software?

    Hello

    IM see some really funky behavior with the option of footage interpret when working with the new proxy workflow. My problem is the following.

    I start with a refreshment DNG raw file high rate. I have to import it and create a proxy of low quality to work with. I respect the clip 24 fps to 60 fps for a slow motion effect. When I play the clip without Tower, on the "proxy" option in the viewer of source works fine. But when I switch the proxy but is not consistent with the slow movement. He simply deletes images between both to read at the desired pace, so the movement which happens always in real time, just with fewer pictures. Can anyone help? I shoot a lot of things high FPS which is now this Prime Minister outgoing proxy workflow useless for me.

    Unfortunately, interpret the film is not supported for Proxy functionality in 2015.3. Not sure if it will meet your needs, but you can try to change speed/duration.
