Dreamweaver upgrade: useful?

Dear members:

After investing $250 (with tax and shipping) to upgrade Dreamweaver MX2004 (actually, I package MX2004 Studio), I have not yet noticed any major differences and improvements that would make the investment worth it. Same interface improvements are rare and barely perceptible. Before you buy version 8, I was told that one of the benefits of the use of version 8 has been the ability to work with CSS using panels and a new improved menu/window which facilitated the CSS used to create page layouts nice without the need to use arrays. This isn't what I noticed so far, unless I'm not see the obvious.

Are there major improvements that would make this update worth it? Are there signs, menus and windows that allow a feeling of 'Table' when creating layouts with CSS?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Joseph Chamberlain

Thank you, cat.

Your message and others have confirmed what I already knew in my heart - I lost only $250.

It is very unfortunate that Adobe releases a new version of Dreamweaver right after acquiring Macromedia. It is obvious that, in the middle of the acquisition, the company was more concerned about the financial issues by ensuring that the upgrade would give consumers a product improved the value of the upgrade.

They found a way to make money at the expense of those who were naïve enough (like me) to invest in a totally useless update.

Thanks again for all the feedback.

No direct path to the evolution of the Chinese language to English. But you can upgrade your version of Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate (upgrade Express). Ultimate has support for English and a number of other languages.

  • Upgrade using datapump 10.2.0.4 to 11.2.0.3

    Hello Experts,
I have some doubts about the upgrade of oracle 10.2.0.4 on 11.2.0.3 database using datapumps.
We were actually comfortable upgrade database of production manually, which takes less time than using datapumps, but our customer insists we do the upgrade using datapump to improve the performance of the database.

    My questions are:

    (1) is it safe to delete the old database once the export is considered to be we have not a lot of space in the server to accommodate both databases and the dump file. However we take a cold backup of the entire file system in the Ribbon.

    (2) is as such (objects, etc.) will not be imported, and we must take into consideration.

    (3) what DBMS_Scheduler jobs and jobs of dba, which will be imported successfully or anything to do after the upgrade.

    (4) I actually tried this method in my local test box and import completed with errors about 240.

Finally, can someone please give me the exact measurements of docs for the upgrade by using this method.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello Srini

Thanks for your suggestion. In fact, we always use sysdba and not system, I do not think that there will be no problem, but always as you suggest, I will try with system as well.

As indicated in the documentation, you may not use sysdba for export/import. Oracle has a very good reason to make this statement.

I have a few question for you:
    (1) currently, there are more Fragmentation in our database. Going with the upgrade of the import/export datapump method the correct way to deal with it in the Production Server?

Yes - pl see this link - http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e23633/preup.htm#BABFHFIJ

    (2) what is the Oracle recommends best practices for database upgrade. According to my knowledge and my docs's DBUA?

Yes - this is the recommended method - http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e23633/preup.htm#i694345

    (3) what tasks the DBMS Scheduler. We need to recreate after the upgrade?

  • What Version of Dreamweaver I use, and how to pass?

I tried to build a reactive site in my dreamweaver cc version, but I'm really bad.  I also use windows 8.

The first thing I tried to know is what version of Dreamweaver that I currently use.  I don't seem to be able to know.

The next thing I wanted to know, is how I can upgrade to the latest version 2015.1.  I currently pay a monthly subscription for my version.

I should cancel this and then buy the new version, or is there an option of upgrading I can cross.

This is before we get to the headache of having to try to convert my site to a sensitive site!

Under help > about Dreamweaver is where you will find the version you have.

You don't have to cancel, or even uninstall older versions. Under the terms of your subscription, you can have DWCS6, CC, 20141 CC and CC 2015.2 all installed at the same time on the same machines (total of 2 machines). They just does not work at the same time.

  • HP 7 plus 1302: Tablet HP 7 more 1302 - upgrade using KitKat.

Hello - I read somewhere in some forums that a KitKat update has been released for the Tablet: HP 7 more 1302. I downloaded the files, but I'm stumped as to how to start the update. I try refreshing the update by going to: settings - about and then refreshing, but nothing new appears. I tried to run the computer files and the Tablet without result. How to upgrade this tablet to the 4.4.4 Android update?

WELL guessed myself - I just had to drag and drop the .zip in the brief INTERNAL of my hp 7 MORE TABLET 1302. FOR ANYONE WHO HAS THIS TABLET AND WANT TO UPDATE KITKAT, HERE'S MY ITINERARY:

Go to the page of support and drivers hp - fill the EXACT model of your HP 7 MORE tablet before continuing.

Click on update then go to drivers - there should be 2 files of the same name - KitKay restore image and any text. One is for the US, while the other is for the other countries.

Select this option to download and let hp download its application to download so that it downloads the zip file.

Not wait to download... When complete:

Connect your tablet to your pc. Since HP has been a bit LAZY and doesn't not fix the external SD card bug in recovery mode, you MUST move the zip file to your INTERNAL MEMORY.

Once done, make sure THAT YOUR BATTERY IS SUPERIOR to 30%

Turn off the tablet. Also when you make your data will be wiped. PLEASE BACK IT UP!

Press and hold the "+" and the power button until that little andoird icon.

By using the '+' and '-' buttons, go to "install the update from the internal memory" or however your version of 7 more explained as. Press the power button to select.

The zip file must be the first to choose. Select it and it will start the phase 1 of the update.
Leave it to update. It will reboot into recovery mode. Repeat the last step to go to step 2

After the above, you will notice that YOUR RECOVERY MODE has BEEN updated to 4.4. * (Kit kat) repeat the step as before, and phase 3 starts now. It will take a little longer.

A complete message will appear and your options will appear again.

Go to wipe/factory reset and erase all data - select this option to confirm and leave it to dry. Reset. The tablet will be a little start. Now your tablet is updated to Kit Kat. THIS APPLIES ONLY TO THE HP 7 MORE PILLS, NO SLATE.

I am VERY disappointed by the support forums. I expected more of the hp. Wow just wow...

    Hello!

I'm currently loaded with a BIOS upgrade mass to 500 + HP Spectra x 360 changeable and I was hoping to do this using SCCM 2012 as I already have for other desktop computers and laptops

Previously, I would have created a cmd file using hpqFlash.exe or HPBIOSUPDREC.exe, however, I can't be working:

hpqFlash.exe - BIOS is downloaded from HP in an exe format that I can get from .bin & .sig files, but this tool requires a .cab file

HPBIOSUPDREC.exe - after you have retrieved the BIOS for .bin files, this tool is complaining that they are not in the correct naming convention 2013 BIOS and I get about 4 of each?

Then. Does anyone have this successful previously? I have to rename the correct naming convention .bin files, if so, how would like to know this?

    * EDIT - we also use bitlocker so it may need to be disabled before a BIOS upgrade? All I really need is the command line and can go from there!

    Thanks in advance!

According to the HP Support, it couldn't be done... BUT... Turn on you can put a/q on the extracted exe and it will install silently... Not that he mentions that in the BIOS, notes...

    schtasksCreateCommand = ' schtasks/create /TN "" bitlockerscript"" /XML "«\\domain.local\NETLOGON\HPBIOS\bitlockerscript.xml»»»

    Timeout/t 600

To force the restart I changed the return codes:

    Soft reboot 0

If she was part of the free Windows 7 Upgrade from Vista, which ran for 6 months before Windows 7 release and just after, no, you can't use it on another machine.
