  Hello. I am a beginner and I'm trying to align the second page of the entire site. I managed to center align perfectly the first page by clicking on the border, but when I export the second page of Photoshop, Dreamweaver CSS code appears and it's the only thing different from the two that will not let me choose the border, so I can center align. See the first page a + 280 lines of code, while a second + 400 lines. Also, I can't find the zoom tool. If please see the images and hope an answer from someone.

  

  

  

  

  The construction of the two pages are completely different, the first page makes use of TABLE for layout, the second page uses DIV to its layout.

  The first page is centered using the align property as in the table

  Align = "center".

  The second page is trying to align the page by applying an automatic to an element with an ID of principal as in margin

  But it won't work because the width of the element is not known. If we add a width as in

  Width: 1281px;

  you will notice that the page has been centered.

  Having said the above, I shudder when I see the construction of two pages. I think you need to catch up with markup (HTML) and style (CSS) before you tackle the creation of web pages.

  I use CS5 to make my Web page.  When I view it on a macbook he looks quite good.  I'm doing my site on a macbook as well.  However, when I view on a desktop computer, usually a desktop apple computer, it looks completely different.  The police are not in the right place.  Also I usually use Safari to view the Web site and the font style is correct but when I I view it in Firefox changes font style and text are moved.  Someone at - it solutions that will fix these problems.  I have to admit that I'm still new to DreamWeaver and everything I've learned has been from Youtube and just play with the program.  Thank you!

  Major problem: the liberal use of APDivs (absolute positioning).  Not a good choice.  Here's why:

• Create secure using Dreamweaver Web pages

  I have a secure Web site (with a certificate of a security certification authority)... When I created a test HELLO WORLD page and download it appears properly in Chrome (shows https and green beside him padlock icon)... problem is that when I download other pages that I copied from on one of my other sites that operate not https... pages shows a warning with a line through https saying that's not safe... There he specifically allows saving pages using the Dreamweaver so that they are used safely? Pleasee image attached to my problem:

  

  Make sure that what you include and referencing on the page is served via https, otherwise you will not be able to get rid of this error.

  I have a small size Captivate project that I would place in a Dreamweaver web page to the already existing address. I want to control where it is placed in this page. Tutorials or advice. Thank you

  The problem was to have a swf for the project and the other for the skin. Could not find a way to get both on an html page and work. Found the answer at http://www.raisingaimee.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=33&Itemid=28
  If you clear the Show borders check box in the properties of the skin you will publish only a swf. This swf can be placed anywhere you like in the dreamweaver html page. Just be sure to save the html code in the same folder as the Captivate SWF.

  How to add an existing web page created before the model has created a model Dreamweaver, I created my index page?

  I use Dreamweaver CS6

  The index of test file has a header and a column on the left with links and then a contained right column and footer.

  The content column has "editregion4" on it, so is locked. I want to update other areas and have other pages that I created prior to the model being created was updated too.

  I created the index.dwt model and saved as index.html

  I have update the model and updates the index.html page too. So far, but so good...

  I created separate pages to test how to add to the model without changing the "content" section.

  Question: How do I add the other pages that I have created?

  These are just the test pages. The next page is called: about.html and I added some random text in the content area that I want to keep.

  The only areas that would update are the header, column and footer to the left.

  Another question: would you have only the one file model?

  Yes. It makes the management of the site a lot easier if you stay with a Template.dwt.

  A well-designed template everything including your site have some items may not appear on all pages of the child.  Some examples are slideshows, galleries or calendars. This is where the optional regions come into play.

  I have always used the Word edit html from dreamweaver.  Dreamweaver is ideal for laying on a Web site, but is a bad word processor and text editor.  I was, in fact, able to solve my problem and after renamed it my file has been able to set up the stray file.  -Thanks for your contribution!  -Jerry Gibson

  I was on the site of jQuery plug-in and I have the file I need to from there, is not a downloadable file, you will need to copy and paste the file, and then save it.  I limit myself to this option for now, but I think that in the long term, I prefer 7 project stuff, because it lets you do more with DW, I'm already on their Web site.  I found some interesting tips there, in regard to Dreamweaver CC 2015 issues, advises users to stick to an earlier version, until Adobe corrections, just at the moment where I planned to spend the next week in this latest version.  Currently I use DW cs5.5, which I have no problem with.

  I have Web sites that display information on the courses, with the possibility to register online. We do not want the announced course when their departure date has passed, so they are automatically removed from view. In this way, we have thousands of courses by year announced without worrying that the old courses are still on Web sites.

Obviously, as seen above, I do something wrong, or the Live View does not all the functions that the Design mode allows to.  I know that I can always access Design view in documents non - presentation of the fluid grid and it is my current work around.  I copy my Word file in mode available in non-fluid Design, then copy this code in my grid fluid, not true paper effective use of my time.  And even this workaround may not be available after the next update.

Regarding your problem above, I guess that you are into editing (orange box) and then paste text.

Have you tried to paste the text directly in Live View mode? It does not preserve the formatting of text.
