Dredging of a member values

I made a simple form to enter percentages inside against the entity dimension that has the parent-child relationship. All parents have the dynamic value Calc. The problem is that these percentages added on parents which gives very bad impression of the form. Is there a way I can erase these percentages of parents? even the calculation of re-encoding does not work on this situation.

Hello

What about simply by changing the operator of consolidation for the Member account % on "never"?  Is it is not configured for this at the moment so I guess that's the question... as you say, is not supposed to add % in most cases.

    Hi all

    Has anyone faced the problem of trying to load data to the members defined as a text data type? You have done this thru smartview, or did you use something more complex, like SUN using planning adapter?

    The user has the possibility to enter data for this member planning Web form and get it back, but we were unable to load data from a file.

    We first tried to use excel add, until we discovered that essbase stores not really text for the Member, but instead, it stores a reference to a relational table planning, where the text is actually stored. Thus, we try to use smartview to connect to the planning application and load the values for this member, but we have been unable to do.

    So, shed light on how to solve this problem? have you used a DIM as ODI ETL tool to load in the planning? Use a Api?

    ODI can certainly do it, but as you use EPMA, it should be a no usual route.
    You might also have a look at the utility of charger of contour that can load data from text, not sure on how it validates if it is an application of epma but always worth a try, have a read of:-http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12825_01/epm.111/hp_admin/ch05s02s01.html

  • 2960S stack Member priorities

    I have sought a clear answer as to what defines a 'priority' on the stack members.

    Documentation of configuration of the battery and election of master reading, it is clear to me if a lesser number integer or integer greater is a higher priority. More simply put, 1 the highest priority, or 15 the highest priority possible?

    Priority member values

    A high priority for a member value increases the chances that he will be elected master and keep his membership number. The priority value can be from 1 to 15. The default priority value is 1.

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/TD/docs/switches/LAN/catalyst2960/software/release/12-2_53_se/configuration/guide/2960scg/swstack.html#wp1153255

     Reading through the documentation for stack configuration and master election, It is unclear to me if a lesser integer or greater integer constitutes a higher priority.

    '15' priority is the highest value or priority.  A switch with a priority of the battery of the '15' doesn't mean 'no election '.

    I am new to use XML with oracle. This is a sample XML from an XML file, now the question is it really possible to write sql queries to extract based on a result, that is to say, if I do a clip like this extract(column_name,//Requests//RequestBody//Item//ItemHeader//ItemAction/text(),).getStringVal () then I results XL1XL2 what I need exactly is only "ItemAction" XML member value when the value is = 'Add '. which means that the final result value, I need XL1. Please note that the values I gave ablove XL1 and XL2, is flexible, that is, sometimes, it's XLLL1 some time XL1, so can't go based on the use of SUBSTR function to extract a fixed value.

  • active member directory; range = 0-999 issue

    Someone else had a problem with active directory, and it returns the Member with the attached range attribute? I'm running on this issue, as mentioned in an article in microsoft (see below). The data comes back very well and I get all the records that I need. BUT... the problem is the column name is returned as "Member; interval = 0-999"instead of just member as in a normal query ActiveDirectory. The problem is that it has this semicolon in the name of the column in an attempt to loop through the query or access this data keeps breaking it. So this is, I can't do it. I tried to escape the semicolon or the column name aliasing, but I just keep running into problems. I hope that someone else has to face this or knows ways around the invalid column names in a query. If I have a result set for a query that has a bad column name, how can I get this data?

    When an Active Directory server returns the values of the attribute member as a result of a directory search query, its behavior varies depending on whether the total number of values of attributes for this object exceeds the maximum limit on the values retrieved. For example, if a distribution on a Windows 2000 Server list contains values of Member of 1000 or less, a search query will return all the values in a single call. However, if the list contains values of Member of 2497, the first call to the function of search query returns the Member with no value attribute and another Member; range = 0-999 attribute that contains the first values of 1000 members. To retrieve the next group of member values, the search query should be repeated using a range specifier that begins on the issue past a returned attribute the number of the previous group. In this example, the search query service would ask the Member; interval = 1000-* values that return the Member; range = 1000-* attribute with no value and Member; range = 1000-1999 with values then 1000 attribute. This process is repeated until the last group of values is retrieved. End of beach on the last group retrieved from the server would be indicated by an asterisk (*) in the name of the attribute returned.

    I found, I was able to solve this problem by using the method that is located at the following address: http://www.bennadel.com/index.cfm?dax=blog:357.view

  • LAG function to get the value of the measurement for parent

    Hello

    I'm interested if there is no function in OLAP DML, which is similar to the function of TROLLING. LAG function returns the measured value for the previous dimension member (or a few members of the back dimension). I would like to know if this function exists which does not return a meaningless measurement for the dimension member value, but the measured value for the parent of the live dimension member.

    Thanks in advance

    Peter

    _parentrel relationship identifies the parent of each Member of the dimension of a hierarchy.

    use:
    the time - dimension
    time_parentrel - Member parent expression
    time_parentrel (time_hierlist 'CALENDAR') - expression for parent along the CALENDAR hierarchy

    Sales - measure
    Sales (Time time_parentrel) - expression returning sales for the parent of the current Member along the existing hierarchy.
    sales (time time_parentrel (time_hierlist 'EXERCISE'))-expression returning the sales for the parent of the current Member along the FISCAL hierarchy.

    You can search the user's Guide the OLAP DML for many examples of the use of the OLAP DML commands/functions/objects in expressions.
    All of these objects are automatically created/maintained while retaining the dimension from the front end (MN).

    For example:

  • Calculation to Elim in HFM entity such as Elim entities in the enterprise

    I was responsible for the HFM work as business - how can I fill an Elim entity with data [disposal] publishes on real entities during consolidation?  Since there is no data is not loaded in the ElimEntity and the accounts are not marked IsCalculated, I created a custom ElimCalc calculated to try to realize the calculation of uncalculated accounts.

    I tried every iteration elimination consolidate the function within the sub section.  I tried to fill the elim calculate entities through the sub section.  All epic fails.

    Can someone point me in the right direction with this?  I tried to show the client that the data they need is in the dimension of value [disposal] that these data may be attracted to consolidate reports.  However, they want the Elim entity to be part of children of parent in a column of the report rather than have two columns to give the Curr Total entity and the elimination.

    There must be a solution to this and I've exhausted ideas.

    Thanks a lot for this reading and offering suggestions.

    I've done a few times. I highly recommend that you avoid creating entities from the elimination. Do all you can to convince users that they have no need of specific entities of elimination. Use rather a custom size 'data type' to store the values of the elimination.

    To answer your question, however, you can (and should) use Sub consolidate to do this, not to calculate the Sub. The HS. Con function takes the [Total Parent] entity data and writes to the current entity [percentage] and/or [disposal], OR node, node [disposal] any entity brother. This means that you must create elimination entities named 'ParentEntity_Elim '. The rules, to consolidate the Sub would look like this:

  • Allowing COnsolidation automated using HS reviews. Con("",vPcon,"nature")

    Hi Experts.

    I'm having a problem with the rule to fill newspapers Consolidation automated for all Elim. entries made during the process of consolidation of HFM.

    My application is configured to use the Consolidation rules and I joined the standard consolidation rules and they work very well.

    A tutorial Oracle says to use the HS. Con "", vPCon, "text qualifier").

    I added this rule at the end of my article to consolidate and newspapers were occurring in the value of "élimination" Member, but the amounts were not disposal quantities appropriate, that we should see.

    "Call Hs.Con with Nature to follow the elim so that automated Consolidation reviews can be generated.

    Set vDataUnit = HS. OpenDataUnit("")

    HS = vPCon. Node.PCon("")

    vNumItems = vDataUnit.GetNumItems)

    For i = 0 To vNumItems - 1

    Call vDataUnit.GetItem (i, vAccount, ACIP, vCustom1, vCustom2, vCustom3, vCustom4, dData)

    If HS. Account.IsICP (vAccount) then

    Dial the HS. Con ("V #[disposal]", vPCon, "élimination")

    End If

    Next

    End Sub

    So then I tried to incorporate the suggested rule Oracle HS. Con ("", vPCon, "élimination") directly in the consolidation of the main script, but then we don't get all parent level data during consolidation (as it breaks the consolidation before it can finish correctly).

    Should use us a rule something like this to make sure that we are entering the value member elimination during the execution of the loop of Open Data Unit?

    Set vDataUnit = HS. OpenDataUnit("")

    vNumItems = vDataUnit.GetNumItems)

    For i = 0 To vNumItems - 1

    Call vDataUnit.GetItem (i, vAccount, ACIP, vCustom1, vCustom2, vCustom3, vCustom4, dData)

    If HS. Account.IsICP (vAccount) then

    povValue = "[disposal]" or to use a variable as Set HS = vElim. Account.Elimination

    Dial the HS. Con (vElim, vpCon, "élimination")

    End If

    Next

    You have any suggestions on how to run the rule to fill newspapers with member value elimination of each PKI account data?

    Thank you very much in advance.

    Hello. Looks like your rule is to consolidate all the data [Total parent] [disposal] and bypassing [percentage]. If you look in the sample applications in the consolidation rules, you will see there are commonly two subroutines. The first, Consolidation, is the standard that takes care of [percentage]. The second, usually called elimination, is called by the first to care for [eliminating]. In this second subroutine, there are two HS. Lines of con. • OutlineLoad utility not only loading text or dates in Hyperion Planning

    Good afternoon

    I tried several times to use the Outlineload utility to load the text and dates in an unsuccessful planning application. I use the Version of EPM: 11.1.2.1. Here are the steps I took:

    1. in EPMA, created a new Member, CommentsText, under the accounts dimension and all its data type 'Text' and then deployed the application.

    2. has created the following source file:

    Pilot Member, value, perspective, loading data Cube name

    CommentsText, go to my comments, here, ' Jan, FY10, USD, real, Final, C101 ", BUD_IS

    While preparing the source file, I made sure all the dimensions were represented by one member at the lower level.

    3. I ran the command below to the DOS command line:

    OutlineLoad S:Localhost A:PLN_GAL /U:admdem / m /I:d:\temp\loadtext5.csv /TR /L:d:\temp\Outlineload-log.log /X:d:\temp\Outlineload-exceptions.exc

    See the command to run successfully. This is what the log file:

    [Thu Sep 26 19:16:36 CDT 2013] Input file located and opened successfully "d:\temp\loadtext5.csv".

    [Thu Sep 26 19:16:36 CDT 2013] Record header fields: pilot Member, value, perspective, loading data Cube name

    [Thu Sep 26 19:16:36 CDT 2013] Finds and uses the 'OFADataLoadDimension' size for loading the data in the application 'PLN_GAL '.

    [Thu Sep 26 19:16:36 CDT 2013] The parent-child command option (switch/h) will not be performed: this option is not available for the dimension "OFADataLoadDimension."

    [Thu Sep 26 19:16:36 CDT 2013] Member from input command (switch/o) option file will not be performed: this option is not available for the dimension "OFADataLoadDimension."

    [Thu Sep 26 19:16:38 CDT 2013] A refresh of the cube operation will not be run.

    [Thu Sep 26 19:16:38 CDT 2013] Create filters for safe operation will not be performed.

    [Thu Sep 26 19:16:38 CDT 2013] Look at the files of newspapers of Essbase to status if Essbase data have been loaded.

    [Thu Sep 26 19:16:38 CDT 2013] Planning of vector data store finished loading processes. 1 data record has been read 1 record of data have been processed, 1 has been loaded successfully, 0 is rejected.

    But even if the log indicates that the comments were written, no text is written!

    Two possible problems, I've noticed are:

    1. the logs says: "located and using"OFADataLoadDimension"dimension for the loading of data into the application"PLN_GAL" I don't know what can be the dimension "OFADataLoadDimension."

    2 even if I put the text in EPMA data type, the data type is NUMERIC - NOT TEXT and more once I have deploy the application and check with the console service Regional. This blows my mind. I don't know why this is happening.

    Can someone please help? I tried A to Z for 2 days without success.

    Thank you!

    Luis

    I suppose that you have set the order of evaluation in EPMA - Parameter Data Type evaluation order

    To be honest that I have not used the utility outlineload to load the data when planning is EPMA mode, only in classic mode, in theory, it should work as it isn't metadata and data but not something that I tested.

    See you soon

  • problem with the locking of the data

    Hi all

    I'm having a problem with the locking of the data.

    When I was trying to lock FY12 real periods. We cannot block periods. The consolidation runs perfect and all entities have the status of OK and all levels of the process are published, but when we try locking... We receive an error that "Consolidation, calculations or translations are required.

    Published by: user10926115 on October 16, 2012 10:34

    We had this problem with our application, as well. I don't know what causes it, but I can advise on our solution.

    In your grid lock, change your Value [None] member. Bear has the value and shows that all entities are in a State of OK or OK SC. However, when we go to the [none] member value, we see that some entities still need calculation. Select the groups that aren't in an OK OK SC or ND OK and select 'calculate '. Once solve us this problem in the [None] member value, we have no problems with locking or unlocking of these entities for periods that have been addressed.

    I would like to know if it works for you.

    Also, if someone else may be able to weigh in on the root of this problem, it would be certainly appreciated by more than just the op.

    Thank you!

  • Business rule in planning

    Hi all

    I'm working on a business rule and I ve tried make several ways but still not able to achieve the desired results. Please find the below BR: -.

    DIFFICULTY (@CHILDREN ("the seller fee")
    {Scenario}, @Relative("Year",0), "No VendorCategory")

    {UPKVendor}
    (
    IF (@ISUDA ({UPKVendor}, Master))
    {UPKMasterVendor} = @MEMBER (@CONCATENATE ("V", @NAME ({UPKVendor})));
    {/Toversion}-> @IDescendants({UPKMasterVendor}) = {FromVersion}-> @IDescendants({UPKMasterVendor})
    ON THE OTHER
    {/Toversion}-> {UPKVendor} = {FromVersion}-> {UPKVendor};
    ENDIF
    );
    ENDFIX

    Assumptions: -.

    {UPKVendor} is a guest of run type "Member" value is launched from the web form (seller Dimension that is labeled with the UDA to identify the type of project)
    {UPKMasterVendor} is a guest of run type "Member" value is built by concatenating 'V' for the {UPKVendor}
    {/Toversion} & {FromVersion} are guest runtime so the user can select values for these guests as part of the business rule.

    Desired results: -.

    IF a PROVIDER IS a provider of 'MASTER', WHICH IS IDENTIFIED with the HELP of the UDA
    THEN COPY THE UPKMASTERVENDOR AND IT is the DESCENDANTS OF THE ONE VERSION (FROMVersion) to an OTHER VERSION (/toversion)

    For some reason, the Manager of calc does not develop @IDescandants ({UPKMasterVendor})
    {/Toversion}-> @IDescendants({UPKMasterVendor}) = {FromVersion}-> @IDescendants({UPKMasterVendor})

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hello
    The problem here is that you are trying to assign a member string in a variable over time that is not entirely possible in the language of Script of Calc. As discussed here many times and once more recently, Calc Script does not support assignment of object type (including chain). You can only assign numerical values to the members and variables. You should try something like @Match function or if the condition for what you do. Another question in your script, it's that you use @Descendants in an equation. You must use @Descendants to restrict the boundaries of your calculation (IF (@ISMBR, FIX etc.) but not in equations.)
    To give you an idea, have a look at the example below:

    IF (@ISUDA ({UPKVendor}, Master))
    IF (@ISMBR (@descendants ((@Member (@Concatenate ("V", @Name ({UPKVendor})))

    {/Toversion} = {FromVersion};

    ENDIF
    ENDIF

  • Need a clarification regarding the application of blocking replicated Cache

    Hello
    I need to know what will happen when the locking of the caches replicated when we have configured configuration lease-granularity member or a thread?

    Suppose in my set of 2 members of replicated caches and it extend customers who writes the cached data and another extended which data in caches for its calculation.

    Assume that my setup of the granularity of the lease is a member.
    My definition:
    1. when I say lock on a special touch in all two replicated caches that record with the special key will be locked and no other thread can update this key until I released the lock.
    2. in the course of my number blocking any readers can read the record to the above key.
    3. even if I update the record (while another player reading this record) by consistency it itself will take care of the update data without corrupting the file and give damaged data to the reader.

    Suppose that my setup is thread in granularity of lease
    1 when I say lock it will act as a lock on the thread that is running but not a lock for all replicated nodes.
    2. This is why when two writers say lock they will get the lock but they can update the same record at the same time, and it could make simultaneous update exception
    3 Eventhought writer has acquired the lock and while doing the update any reader can read the data relevant to this record.
    4. the update of data relevant to the particular key will be coherense handle (unless the simultaneous update exception doesnot appear) it self and any player can use data not currupted.

    Please correct me if I'm wrong. I need to know when we have configured member or thread in rental-granularity under implementation of this lock. According to the documentation I've seen replicated caceh supports the feature LOCK_ALL. hope this function means it locks all cache as a global lock.

    Hope you guys can show me a way to add/update records in line while some readers read the same cache.

    Kind regards
    Sura

    Hi Sura,

    If you use Clients range from updating the replicated Cache, it is recommended to have the following:

    (1) specify the granularity lease = "thread" for the replicated cache,
    (2) prohibit, by convention, explicit locks in any client of the replicated cache, and
    (3) allow customers to extend update the replicated cache via EntryProcessors (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14526_01/coh.350/e14509/appbestextend.htm#CIHCJHFA)

    If the granularity "Member" value, once any thread in this member acquires a lock, another thread running in this node will have access to the lock (and any thread in this member can unlock the key). Having said this, lease-granularity = "thread" restricted access to a key to a single thread within the cluster.

    I hope this helps!

    See you soon,.

  • Creation of calculation based on the result of the drop-down list

    Hello. I hope that someone will be kind enough to help me with some Javascript because it seems that I am too blonde and middle ages to figure out by myself.

    I have a drop-down list box 'Member '. The Yes value is 0. The value is 10.

    Then I have three check boxes. "Day 1" value is 35. "Day2" value is 25. 'Dinner' value is 65.

    If this option is enabled, I want the sum of the check boxes, if they are checked. (for example, total if all checked = 125)

    If no is selected, the value of each check box rose 10. (for example, total if all checked = 155)

    I use Acrobat X.

    Thanks in advance.

    Due to the fact that you want to add a constant number of values if a given condition is met then you will need to use a custom calculation script.

    get the value of the fields

    var cMember = Number (this.getField("Member").value);

    var nDay1 = this.getField("Day1").value;

    var nDay2 = this.getField("Day2").value;

    var nDinner = this.getField("Dinner").value;

    define a varaiable for the sum

    var sum = 0;

    day 1 more SETTINGS

    If (nDay1! = "Off") the sum += (nDay1) Number + cMember;

    day 2 more SETTINGS

    If (Day2! = "Off") the sum += (nDay2) Number + cMember;

    more dinner SETTINGS

    If (nDinner! = "Off") the sum += (nDinner) Number + cMember;

    Event.Value = sum;

    Excel is easy if you would see Microsoft calculations.
