    Hello

    ·          Were there any changes made to your computer before this problem?

Step 1: Format the external device to the NTFS format and check if the problem persists.

  • Windows 7 don't recognize the existence of the second drive hard unformated. How can I format drive's system does not recognize that there is so I can format the drive to use for backup?

The two HDD are identical, WD750GB. Cannot find how to format a drive unreconized in help.
First HARD drive is SATA and using 64-bit format and want to use the same for the second.

Run Disk Manager , format the drive and it assign a drive letter:

    1. press the Windows Logo + R , type diskmgmt.msc in the box, and then click OK .
    2. right click on the drive and click format .
3 right-click the disk, and then click change drive letter and paths .

I don't know what you mean by "using the 64 bit format".

    Original title: coordinator.exe no disc

I got this message after installing BitDefender antivirus.
It turned out to be partly because of WinPatrol - who had not been uninstalled.
And the program uninstal delete his entry autostart nor its program file.
Which has supported, manually, the end of the message...
But I guess that's not specific to WinPatrol, which is an excellent monitor if it is not in conflict with the antivirus.  (It worked well alongside Avast.)

  • NB200 - Recovery Media Creator and drive HARD USB

I just bought a white NB200 and noticed that it does not come with a DVD of Windows 7 in case I ever need to install.
I was informed by the seller in the store I could save a copy on a USB key using a recovery disc writing.
I assume that "Recovery Media Creator" is the best way to do it.

I booted up and it said that it will be 6.7 GB. I don't have a USB this size, but have a portable hard drive (250 gb) with 120 GB to spare.
Even though I can view the drive in Windows Explorer / workstation, the program of recovery media says ' Please insert a USB drive with greater than 6.7 GB memory ', whenever I click on the create"" button.

    If anyone can help?

    Hello

I doubt that you can use the USB HDD to create a recovery disk image.
The Toshiba recovery disc creator has been designed in order to create a bootable recovery disk!
It has not been designed for sure the image of Toshiba on the HARD drive!

So if you want to use the Toshiba recovery disc creator then you must buy a USB CD/DVD drive that can burn the recovery image on a DVD

  • delete a partition on my hard drive that was originally set up by the manufacturer as a backup drive hard to label.

I hope I am posting this on the forum,

I want to delete a partition on my hard drive that was originally set up by the manufacturer as a backup drive hard to label.

I went into computer management console & know that the primary partition - drive C system, boot, pagefile, active lists, dump incident & main partition in brackets but I don't know about the virtual memory paging file. No, there is some data on it. I've been saving the other partition - C drive on an external hard drive.

I know that I have to back up this data but where I should come back to? And why is it called (Primary Partition) when it is used only as a return to the top by car?

    Hello

D: is not a partition backup of your machine.

Acer has a time set up their machines to the way yours is:

They had a C: drive for the operating system, a drive D: for data (music, movies, etc you would like to register and a recovery partition 'hidden' to reinstall the operating system and to make the recovery discs to do the same thing.)

You can merge C: and D: as a whole, BUT save all data on D: first because it will be deleted when you merge.

"How delete and extend a Partition with Vista disk management"

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/95418-disk-management-delete-extend.html

And YES, you back up the data on an external hard drive in case of hard drive failure, the corruption of the system, etc.

    See you soon.

    Model - DV6-6135DX (DV6Z-W / A8 - 3500M)

Problem: once the "startup screen" my laptop gets all black with this mouse, even the sound of connection is not audible.

So I did a series of tests, memory past test, test the battery last, but when he got to the hard drive test, he gave me a FAILURE result. with this failure ID

Then the message directed me here. so my question is

is there a solution to why I need it badly my laptop for work of the College.

Another question is: If there isn't a solution to this failure, can I get my replacement of hard drive and it will be under warranty?

(Bought about 2nd/3rd week of July).

    * IF YOU NEED MORE INFORMATION IM READY TO GIVE.

    Thank you.

Either way just an another note, I don't have an installer of Windows 7 and the folder SWSETUP saved on my memory card, with regard to the recovery disc, I have for some reason any manage to face some baillou and created a damaged disk.

If you are under warranty, HP will ship a new drive hard if make you a down payment on the drive and return. Call ordinary brackets. We cannot help you directly. You could also ask them to ship a recovery DVDs at the same time. Your old hard drive can still be good enough so you can attach it to a computer with a usb adapter and download your important files out of it. Perhaps the College it DEPARTMENT can help.

The replacement drive will be guaranteed more than the remaining warranty or 90 days. Replacing the hard drive is a piece of cake.

  • HP Pavilion DV6-3041TX drive HARD failure and possible design Intel series 6 Chipset problem

    Hey guys

I saw corruption serious hdd on my system for some time now and was just move to replace the drive hard when I came across the problem of design of Intel® chipsets. Now, I think that my system is the range of serial number for this question and as the current drive does not start, I can't check the Device Manager to see if the chipset is one of those affected.

Is there anyway for me to check this from a USB bootable or something similar, because I don't want to have to go through the effort to replace the hard drive and reinstall windows just to find the chipset is wrong?

    Thank you

Open the door of the memory on the bottom of the laptop and look under the memory for a number of motherboard.

You should have the Intel HM55 chipset, but we can be sure that if we know the motherboard part number.

  • How can I use my drive hard thunderbolt from 8 TB to backup all my wireless devices?

How can I configure my drive hard thunderbolt from 8 TB to back up all my devices using a Wi - Fi connection?

What you might hope better would be to use a Thunderbolt-to-Ethernet adapter to connect to the router, but even if it works, it would be like a fire (Thunderbolt) connection to a water hose (Ethernet) is launching... and expect to get more water on the hose... more, the best that can be done without wire will be about half the speed of the Ethernet network.

Sorry, this is no sense... a Thunderbolt drive is designed to connect directly to a Thunderbolt port on a computer, or in a Garland with other devices Thunderbolt.

In other words, as soon as you break the chain of connection Thunderbolt, the speed drops to Ethernet or even low speed wireless.
