  What is the model of your Canon camera?

  It is likely that you will need to download the driver chipset on the site of computer manufacturers.

  Since the upgrade of El Capitan I get 'no disc not readable' when connecting Cannon camera via USB and also when you use the card reader.

  If your OS X 10.11 upgrade (an earlier version of Mac OS X like OS X 10.10 or less) gives trouble that your previous version have not lived, check with your Canon camera support to see if he and the software you are using is compatible with El Capitan. Firmware or software of your camera may require update for compatibility El Cap.  If the Canon updates are not available, you should wait for them or go back to your version of Mac OS X older but functional.

  If you really Update to a 10.11.x El Cap to the latest version, you can simply need to use OS X recovery completely reinstall Mac OS from the recovery system stored on your startup disk.

  If you need help, when you post, tell us what Canon camera and the software, if any, you use as well as what number of version of Mac OS you updated to and from.  We will try to offer more specific suggestions based on the details in your response.

  This error indicates that an application is using this file at this point here. If you are unable to remove it, restart your computer and then try to delete it.

  IF YOU ARE NOT SUCCESSFUL WITH THE above METHOD, THEN TRY to USE UNLOCKER, a free application that disables the application using the file that you want to delete.

  I found a lot on the Internet about wiaacngr.exe not opening not or refuses to recognize the camera.  My problem is almost the opposite!   Whenever I connect my Canon camera, by USB, my current laptop (Windows XP Pro SP3 of v5), wiaacngr.exe opens a window asking me to select the program to start.  But it offers only two options: M/S Office Word and scanner and camera assistant, neither of which I want to use.  If I close the window...  Not much, but it's a nuisance.  I would be happy if she has proposed to launch work stations.  I then click on the box "Make this every time" and will never see the window.  Otherwise, I'd be happy to remove the program completely.  Can someone tell me how to achieve one of these?  S ' Please!
