Driver HP Deskjet 820 Cse Windows 7 works on laptop no Lenovo PC Toshiba

I got the impression a lot of luck with my USB printer cable on my HP Deskjet 820 Cse using its Windows 7 print driver.  However, I bought a PC Lenovo, also a machine Windows 7 Home Premium, downloaded and installed the HP Deskjet 820 Cse printer driver, but I get no response from the printer.  And I hear nothing; the green light is on, but if I try to print a page of test or document directly, at best printing makes to a print queue. at worst, there is simply nothing.  Microsoft has me reinstall Windows 7 a couple of times to see if there was a computer visur, but always the same result.  [I've enabled a new Windows 7 do this refreshment.]   I would appreciate any advice, and I would be happy to coordinate with Microsoft as well, thank you.

You have an 32-bit or the 64 bit version of Windows 7?  If you have the 64-bit version, you will need the patch here.

Deskjet 820 CSE works correctly when it is connected locally to XP and Vista PC however when I connect it to the W7 PC, I am not able to get prints.  W7 recognizes the printer and installs it.  Everything seems to be good.  Print requests will enter and leave the queue (as they print) but do not.  Printer actually does not do anything... lights flash, make noise.

    Any ideas?

    Hello

Is there a solution or other solution for this?

    Thank you

    Hello

I'm afraid your printer is too old and is not compatible with Windows 8, so there is no workaround solution that can allow the use of the printer.

The following document clearly state this limitation, as well as it cannot be replaced:

I use windows 7 pro and want to connect my deskjet 810C, usually, I do not need to install the driver manually (XP & Vista). because it is installed automatically when I connect this printer to my pc. In windows 7, my 810C is detected and showed in devices and printers, but driver is not installed successfully. I tried to find the website of HP, but still no driver available for 7.

    Can someone help me?

  • Non-accessible HARD drive is setup installation of Windows XP on my laptop

    Hello

I have my 144TU Compaq Presario CQ40 (Intel C2D T5800, 160 GB of HDD, 2 GB of RAM).
I have installed XP using a customized bootable XP to support SATA drivers using nLite.
I use the same CD custom in this slot the entire post, so the problem of SATA not supported by XP is elimintated.
I also setup a ubuntu installation I've ever used.
I had a dual boot on my system with Windows XP Pro and Linux Ubuntu, last week I tried to delete the partitions of Ubuntu from Win XP computer management window. The system got hanged and I did a force close. When the computer reboots, the system hangs after a few minutes on the desktop. After several restarts (force) the OS is not boot at all. When I tried to do a formatting the OS drive and delete the Linux partitions using the XP bootable CD, the installation XP is unable to access the disk hard and don't show any of the logical drives as well as readers of Linux. The box which offers the list of the installed OS and their readers is to give a message that cannot access/mutual HARD drive.
By mistake, I think I can have deleted the partition that had the top MBR. (I'm sure I didn't want to remove the disk from the operating system. I tried to remove the drive that was on display as unallocated (ubuntu leads usually shows as unallocated)).
I tried the fixmbr command in the XP Recovery console, but it says that the drive we are trying to access is not available.
I tried to use a mini Windows XP live CD (Hirens Bootable CD), which had an option to scan the HARD drive and find partitions.
The HARD disk is scanned and my 2 XP partitions are located. It gives me the possibility to mount the partitions on the XP mini.
I mounted the partitions and my 2 XP disks are intact. I think that there is a problem when accessing the HARD drive to the start-up level.
    Help, please.

    Thank you
    Gordon

    Ok...

    That's what I did.

I was much concerned of my HARD drive to my data.

So I unplugged my laptop HARD drive and carried it on the desk of a friend who had a SATA port.

Plugged here and thank God it was detected, deleted all partitions and did a full format of the HARD drive.

Fresh made 3 partitions and plugged the HARD drive into my laptop and installed WinXP which was a success.

    Kind regards

  • Adapter network on laptop computer Lenovo IdeaPad U350, works do not since upgrading to Windows 7.

    Hello.
Am running windows 7 on a laptop computer Lenovo IdeaPad U350, but experiencing problems with the network adapter. Wireless connection works, but I can not connect via the direct cable connection. All of the updates were made and in device, the network card Manager (Broadcom 802.11 g network adapter) seems to work fine, BUT still I can't connect. I downloaded the driver from the manuvacturer (Lenovo) and installed. He still does not!

Any ideas how to solve this problem? I am currently connected to the internet via a wireless connection, but need a wired connection.

    PLEASE HELP :)

Here's a solution - eventually had to resort to using the Ethernet coz I had to transfer massive amounts of data and using the WiFi was just a bad idea.

Agree with the above the drivers Lenovo doesn't have just a whole bunch of stuff (unzip, etc, etc) and curiously does not seem to go through the process to INSTALL anything... disappointment.

For those of you who know how to get to the old plant 'Disc' (Yes, they still exist in Win7), you can get your hands on the drivers here http://www.broadcom.com/support/ethernet_nic/netlink_k57.php--est comes with the good old INF files to tell the system what and where to install

Go to disc (fuck..... another Google process [Bing since I'm on a MS Web site] the answer)...

    0 have the Admin rights
    1. open your browser.
    2. right click on computer / my computer > properties > Device Manager
    3. I hope that the offending devices (Ethernet in this case) shows prominently in the other category
4 click on it > properties
5 looking around for the the driver update button
6 browse my computer for training software
    7. just choose from devices... (blah blah)
    8 have Disk (tada!)
    9. then point just where you have unpacked the driver with the permission of Broadcomm files.

    Hope that helps.

  • Can't get the driver for 32-bit windows 7 HP DeskJet 5440 via windows update.

Original title: driver HP DeskJet 5440 windows 7 32 bit

I was unable to get the driver for 32-bit windows 7 HP DeskJet 5440 via windows update.  I also was unbale to find your compatibility Center.  Is there a link were I can down-load the driver directly from.

    Tony,

    In fact, I assumed that yours was always supported by HP * but I understand now that it's not [so I guess that it is more than 10 years because it is their general support period].  {* Mine is a DJ 2540 and is only a few years so I thought a 5440 DJ must be more recent}

    I see that HP gives you general instructions on installing drivers in http://support.hp.com/gb-en/product/hp-deskjet-5440-printer-series/445466/model/445467/document/c01796879/ I checked Microsoft update catalog service and nothing found for HP Deskjet 5440, that's why you're not having any success with the generic instructions, giving you these instructions seem to presuppose the existence of a Windows driver for this specific model.  {HP must have given up your specific model before that this catalogue has been compiled, because hardware manufacturers are those that connect to their drivers inside}

However, my suggestions may solve your problem or maybe not.  They are simply the steps that seem more likely to be successful.  Personally, I'd a system image before you try each of these suggestions so that you can go back to square one if something goes terribly wrong.

Suggestion 1 - go to the devices & Printers dialog box, click Add a printer, select HP then select HP Deskjet 5400 series [the sequence in the list is awkward, this entry is about 10% of the way to the bottom of the list], click on Next and follow the procedure of menus at its conclusion.  Even if it's completely successful, plan to run my Suggestion 4 below as well in case of future need.

Suggestion 2 - out whatever the driver that shipped with your printer in the first place, try to install in compatibility mode [right click on its executable, click on the tab compatibility , the value of the check box for run this program in compatibility mode for... and select a BONE the printer worked correctly with.]  Then go to the executable, right-click and select run as administrator.  This idea is not frivolous, until he blew something internally, I was using my 1999/2000 HP Deskjet 1220C successfully on Windows 7 x 64 for four years [despite the HP user forums which implies that this was not possible].

Suggestion 3 - go back to the HP site to http://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-5440-printer-series/445466/model/445467 but select 10 Windows as your operating system.  In the results, the Diagnostics Utility Tools point contains now a setup generic [hppiw.exe] who described "HP for Windows printer setup wizard was created to help users Windows 10 download and install the software solution most appropriate for their printer and newer HP HP Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1.   Simply run the tool and follow the on-screen instructions. " Download & run [run as Admin] of this file.

Suggestion 4 - Connect to an Admin-level account first, then, using IE [there than IE], date back to the Microsoft update service catalog and search for HP Deskjet 5400 series.  It will give a lot of results, then click on the driver name in the left column of title to see details for each potential choice [especially if it is 32 or 64 bit].  The top of the list is [32-bit] Microsoft Update for HP Deskjet 5400 Series driver dated June 21, 2006.  [You might also download & file the second element, the 64-bit version, just in case you change computers in the future]  Add the chosen driver [s] to the "trash" then download - you will be asked to select a file to download first {it is at this stage that the process would be a break without further explanation or any error if you had not been connected to an Admin-level account before launching IE}.  I think that these drivers also work with Windows 10 thus, in the hope that your printer works for the years to come, it would be well worth your copies of maintenance of them filed there ready for your next computer use.

Proposal 5 - go [back] to the forums of user HP Deskjets & find 5440.  See if any of the other suggestions can help you - unless you have already looked through them all the more relevant [I realize that you have been here once already as one of the threads that I just watched was of you].

We know, in advance, which of these suggestions will lead to the best possible solution.  So please come back to this forum to explain what happened when you tried the.  Your experiences will benefit all users of HP Deskjet 5440 who come here looking for advice.

    Good luck

HP Deskjet 2512 Director does not work on Windows 7? Is there a solution? Everything that happens is two pages of text, open, but no Director. I downloaded and installed the latest version of the software full version DJ2510_1313. No help for it?

    Hi DJ2512,

I understand that you have a Deskjet 2512 which is not able to open the Printer Wizard, it opens to text pages. I'm sorry to hear that, but I'll certainly do my best to help you!

From what you described, it seems that your printer wizard opens to a page of the Notepad. I suggest you follow this document Opens Assistant HP printer with an error in Script or in Notepad to get the problem resolved.
