Go to the manufacturer.  They have created the product, they supported (or not) the product.  No matter what operating system you are running, etc. - If they can't stand on the said OS - almost anything else you can find to make it work is a kludge.

I have not yet found a camera with the model number you gave.  Maybe I've found someone trading some old webcam/mic has put online - but I found for most sanders and a stereo?

  • New 500 GB HARD drive is not recognized correctly

What is happening, I replaced the drive HARD than Go 150 original after about 18 months, again, now a year later, that the drive seems to have died too, so I bought a new seagate 500 GB drive HARD for it, the BIOS said it s it, but vista CD dies just when it is trying to install, CD WXP can t see the drive at all, but I expected that when WXP is older , but Vista I expected to work.

So here's the thing, I put the new HARD drive in my desktop PC and he found in the BIOS no worries, then I started the Vista CD and again no probs, Vista installed without worries, then I put the HARD drive in the lappy and once again he can t read it, so it s not a Vista thing , it seems that it s the lappy itself

Is this a problem with the Toshiba BIOS, or is it a physical problem where the Toshiba is struggling in reading ANY player?

    It s driving me crazy.

And what model of laptop do you have?

Generally upgrade HARD drive should not be a problem. I assume that your laptop's HARD drive with SATA interface and I sure you bought the right of Mr. I've upgraded or because of the experiences on several laptops equipped new hard disks and all of them were still properly recognized and I was able to install original Toshiba Recovery (recovery DVD) on this subject image.

Maybe you have an older model A200 and perhaps he has some compatibility issues with new hard disks. I will be 100% sure works perfectly with HARD drive up to 300 or 400 GB maybe.

Do you use Toshiba Recovery for the Vista installation disc or original disc of Microsoft?

BTW: WXP is unclear due to lack of driver SATA HARD drive.

  • Satellite A100-225 keeps freezing and crashing with the new HARD drive

    Hi all

I have a Satellite A100-225 with a 100 GB SATA Hitachi drive I int it that recently started showing bad sectors. Then I bought a Hitachi 320 GB SATA II drive to replace it. I tried the drive and it was recognized right away, so I didn't need to change the SATA speed. I ran the restore a disk installed newest. The problem I have is that the computer keeps freezing and crashing with the new drive. It takes a lot of time to load up when turned on and there is a noticeable to untermittant delay when you drag the cards around solo.

I tried to run the Hitachi drive test and it comes back fine. I also tried to turn the SATA speed of the drive down from 300 to 150 via the firmware, and although I saw a slight improvement, it is still not right.

I talked to Hitachi and they say that he could not be 100% compatible, so the problems. Someone at - it else sucessfully set up a replacement for this notebook drive and if so what make and model. Has anyone else had simular problems?

    Thank you

Years ago, I've updated yet more former Satellite M70 with SATA HDD (270 GB if I m remembering well) and everything was fine.
In my view upgrade with SATA HDD normal shouldn't be a problem. Do not SATA II because it will not work faster.

I can't say for sure, but there must be a compatibility problem.

Let's see if someone else had better luck with the upgrade of the disk on the Satellite A100.

Have you checked this forum with advanced search option? Maybe you can find some old NET on upgrade the HDD on A100.

  • New hard drives Dell Poweredge 2950

Our 2950 has disks SAS 300 GB 15 k in there. It is full, so we need bigger disks. I'll have to make one both slow and wait method, no place to back up to. Must the new disks be 15 k? We need to buy less expensive players.

    Thank you

    Lee

The s.3 are SAS or SATA, so should be the SAS version.

You could add a 1 to the existing RAID 5 SAS drive, HOWEVER, only 300 GB of it will be usable in the table and the rest won't help at all (unless at some point, you plan to replace all readers of disks 1 to).  Otherwise, you could simply expand using another drive of 300 GB:

    http://www.Amazon.com/GP/product/B003HG4GPO/

    ossilee
I did not know that the simple addition of a disk happen here that much

I'm not sure how much/little you expect, but RAID 5 always uses the value of the a disk space for parity, if you have three disks in RAID 5 or 10 disks, 3x300GB both in RAID 5 = 600 GB and 4x300GB in RAID 5 = 900 GB.

It's very strange and I imagine that you did something and now the noise has gone. Satellite A100 (PSAA9E) is well known to me and WXP works very stabile. Have you tried to roll back the OS to an earlier when time its worked well?

Try it using the System Restore tool.

  • Help with Time Machine

Although I've owned a mac for years, I started using Time Machine a few months ago only.

For two weeks, I said that my backup disk was full. Today, I got the message that the backup failed and that yesterday was the most recent upward. a double click on the backup disk, I see the records dating back to November. However, when I get Time machine, I can only highlight yesterday.

    So, a few questions.

    1. the November record is really an existing back-up? Why do I see there, but not in Time Machine?

    2. I have several external hard drives that I use for Time Machine and I am interested in finding someone to help me with the best solution to achieve my goal. That is, to remove the 300 GB of photos I have on my internal hard drive to an external hard drive, while still supporting upward from my internal hard drive and a multimedia hard drive for Time Machine.

I hope I can say this is not confusing.

I have an internal 500 GB running 10.11.1 HD because I have pictures of some 300 GB internal hard disk, I only 6.66 GB of available space.

I have 3 external drives available that I can use for the back upward. 1 TB, I got for Christmas and is not used for anything and 2 500 GB HDs... one of them is currently used for Time Machine. The other has a backup is no longer necessary, so I can be erased.

In addition to using Time Machine to back up, I also pay a monthly fee for Crash Plan. Even though this was my home folder files, it does not back up the operating system. I can, however, point it to back up an external hard drive.

Finally, these are my questions. To free up space on my internal hard drive, can I (should) move the photos off my internal HD (I don't use iphoto) and put them on an external HD and then have my internal HD and HD with photos backed up with TM? Would it not be better to transfer my photos on a 500 GB HD and then use the 1 TB (without this partitioning) to back up both the internal and external HDs?

I hope that what I am asking is logical. Thanks to all those who want to take part of my ramblings and give a meaning to me.

    Respectfully,.

    Cayleen

What I do with my Mac sounds a bit like what you ask to do with yours. I have:

-Photos and movies on an external drive (500 GB on a 2 TB disk)

-The rest of my data on the drive internal (approximately 300 GB on a 1 TB drive

-The internal and external are saved on a third drive (3 TB) used for Time Machine.

    Everything works very well.

  • Satellite A100: Windows 7 and 1 TB HDD

    I have Toshiba Satellite A100-998.

    Can I install Windows 7?
Can I put my disk HARD WD Scorpio Blue 1 TB SATA/300 5200 RPM?

I checked the Toshiba download page and your laptop is supported for Win7 32 bit, so you can install it. All the necessary drivers and Toshiba applications are available.

    Update HARD drive?
What to say? You have portable 4 years old and want to upgrade with 1 TB of HARD drive? Even the most recent notebooks don't have hard drives. I put t know if everything will be ok, but I think that upgrading HARD drive with new HARD drive up to 300 or 400 GB might be Ok. Do you agree with me?

  • Using the NI USB-6009 case to generate a 12VDC output and output current of 300mA

    Hello

I use the OR-USB-6009 my power supply for a 12VDC with drive current of 300 solenoid my. Initially, I used a non reverse Op-amp circuit and Inverter circuit operational amplifier to get the + 12V and - 12V output but I could not get the current I required. Should I use a transistor?

Please find attached photos. Any input would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Adam

Well, really depend on your piercing circuit.  But I used most systems use the transistor to set the voltage of the device to 0V.  So when your DIO is high, the output is actually 0V (low).  So using a converter chip, your release of the DIO will be sort of the output circuit.  If you get the right IC, then the inverter will give you also a few extra current to drive your transistor.

  • If I restore to factory settings, do I lose the files?

my laptop has 50 on drive C and 300 GB on the drive D. apparently I can't use this space in C drive unless I have restore factory settings. If I do this I lose etc that I put on the files?

You cannot use that space on the C: drive? Do you mean move the
    space on D: to C:?

    If so, two points:

    1. you can move some of the space on D: to C:, but it may require the use
    a third party program.

    2. According to what you want to use the space for, you don't have to
Move it to C: to use it. Just use on D:

If I do this I lose etc that I put on the files?

Yes. Restore factory settings which means everything on the disk
    is deleted.

But note that your question suggests that you do not have a backup of
your files. If this is the case, you are playing with fire.  It's
always possible a disk hard crash, user, near lightning error
strike, virus attack, even stolen computer, can result in the loss
everything on your drive. As it has often been said, it is not a question
to know if you have a problem, but when.

You can read this article on the backup that I wrote: 'save '.

  • Compellent SAN - replacement of disks not assigned

I was wondering if someone could help me with a problem with my compellent san. I had a hard drive crash and bought a replacement, when I put it in it sees the drive, but it is not attributed. When I'm going to assign it to the folder I get an error message "an error has occurred trying to mark it as the object of spare (identified as" ") Impossible to spare 24 disc unclassified." Is there something that I am missing? This unit is a little older and dell no longer supports readers. I'd like suggestions on this.

    Thank you

You get a player who "belong" in your system.

I got replacement disks sent me (under load)

they came in the older disk for envelopes «Xyratex» caddy

I swapped the caddy of disk with the failed drive from the SC200.

The HDS did not recognize this drive. bad manufacturer error if I remember correctly.

they sent a replacement which came in a Dell disk caddy and it worked as expected.

    Firmware of the drive...?

All old drive will not work.

(if they did I would buy the Seagate Constellation 3TO 7.2 k drives online for $300 instead of nearly $ 1000 Dell!)
