driver TSSTcorp cddvdw sn-208bb problem

Recently I encountered a problem with my cd/dvd driver. I reinstalled the driver, and nothing has changed.

My computer is a Samsung NP350E.
In the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10 there are the following "data" values"}
UpperFilters: ArcCD
LowerFilters: Afc
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It seems that you had installed Arcsoft software?

Try to remove the entry ArcCD and afc:

Double-click UpperFilters and, under value data, delete ArcCD > OK

Double click LowerFilters and under value data, delete afc > OK

Create a System Restore Point beforehand and restart the computer later.

  • I put to level my hp CDDVDW SU-208BB in car... how high is the drive?

Hi, I have a laptop HP Envy M4. Windows operating system.  My hard drive is out.  It's a Hp CDDVDW SU 208BB.  I'm looking to get into Blu Ray burner.  I already upgraded my 16 GB RAM and hard drive to a hybrid disc, i.e. verrrry fast.  A friend who is into computers told my laptop speed demon now could easily manipulate a Blu - Ray burner... My only problem, is that lead to go with.  I have two that I love... we are 12.7 mm in height, the other is 9.5 mm in height.  It is Panasonic and the other is LG.  I just need to know the height of the original drive.  I tried to find it online, but it seems to be a secret, no one can tell me.  Can anyone here help me out?  I don't want to pay for this info... worst I order one or the other, and if it does not fit, I will send it back.  Waste of time and patience.  Thanks in advance for anyone who can help!

I think that the size is 12.5 mm. Readers of 9.5 mm may be suitable for smooth or ultrabooks I guess...

I tried the advice from this post, and it didn't fix my problem so I will post the question again.

I tried the DVD online windows 8 works do not fix application - that didn't work.

I was also on the Microsoft technical support without success. We even tried to install the driver of windows 7.

Is it possible to use the Windows 7 driver somehow, or I'll have to wait for Toshiba to pull himself together and provide a driver of windows 8?

Don't know if it's the same problem I had on my Toshiba with a Code 19 error with my Matshita DVD drive but I cured it by removing Toshiba Recovery Disk Creator and Toshiba Recovery Disk reminder. Might be interesting to try :)

  • Driver for TSSTcorp CDDVDW SN-208AB does not work.

Hi, I have a problem with the driver for TSSTcorp CDDVDW SN-208AB. My computer is a Toshiba Satellite L850 - 1 L 1 with windows 8. I bought it 3/4 months ago, and I think this is the first time that I had to use the CD input, but the computer does not recognize the CD driver, so I can't access and use. When I go to Device Manager, there is a symbol of error and the specific error is something like (I've translated it in English to Italian): "cannot start this hardware device. The configuration in the registry information is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19) ». I read that other people have had a similar problem, but I really don't understand how this could happen, because it's a new computer.
How can I solve this problem?

    Thanks to advice

    Thank you
I had already tried this solution, without success. But this time, I don't know why and how it worked!
I can finally use the CD driver!

My name is shabani, I have a CD/DVD writer is to say Samsung (TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH - S202J) it can play DVDs/CDs but stops when burned in any burning software. The drivers are 'ok' and is there something that can be done?

    Hello SanjuSS,

If this still happens after two distinct formats, then you may very well be hardware problems here.

When burn us a CD/DVD, we use a separate component that reads.

There are diagnoses of material that accompanies this disc and can we run them.

It would be wise to contact the manufacturer at this time.

I have sandisk cruzer blade USB key

    Hi Rohit,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum. I understand that your USB drive is having problems of compatibility with your computer, but I would like to learn more about the issue in order to provide you with better assistance.

    1. You did it any significant hardware or change software on the computer before this problem?
    2. When do you get exactly the error message?
    3. Have you tried to connect to any other computer on this flash drives?
    4. Your USB key works on other computers or have you tried to connect to different USB ports on this computer?
    5. Is the pen drive getting detected in the case or you are able to access the drive folder in the window of the computer ?

The question may arise if the currently loaded USB driver has become unstable or damaged, or if your PC requires an update for problems that could conflict with a device USB and Windows. This can also occur if your USB controllers may have become unstable or corrupt. So, I would suggest trying the following steps and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

Please try the fixit (s) provided below which will help you solve common problems associated with devices and USB ports.

If method 1 does not work, try Method 2.

    Method 2:

Remove and reinstall all USB controllers.

    1. Open Manager devices by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click system and security, and then, under System, clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    2. In the list of the categories of equipment, locate and expand Bus USB controllers.
    3. Right-click every device under the Bus USB controllers node and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.
    4. Restart the computer and let the USB controllers get reinstalled.

Plug in the removable USB device and test to make sure that the problem is solved.

If the problem persists, go to method 3.

    Method 3:

This method will install the latest drivers from device to your USB device.

    1. Click the Start button, type Windows Update in the search box, and then click Windows Update in the results pane.
    2. Click find updates. When the scan finished, click optional review updates.
    3. Click the check box next to the update, and then click install updates.
    4. If you are prompted, read the license agreement, then click I agree.
    5. Follow the instructions on the screen to download and install updates.
    6. If you are prompted, restart your computer.

  • Seagate drive back up the partition problem

    Hello

I have a problem with a Seagate drive on my mac.

The drive is 1 TB and I formatted into 2 partitions: 1 exFat and 1 for Time Machine. All worked fine for the last 2 years, but now when plug the drive into my mac it loads only the partition exFat (I can access the content of it.).

Backup partition isn't appearing any more. I tried to open disk utility, but it won't let me see my discs, while the Seagate is connected. (I thought about it when I unplugged the Seagate drive, everything is back to normal).

If I want to eject the disc it will freeze it and drive the LEDS will not stop fashing until I take out the usb cable.

Experienced this kind of problem?  I would be very grateful if you could help me.
