  It's very strange it s confusing two s WEIRD appears in MY computer

  What you could do is remove the player of ODD (CD/DVD) Device Manager, then restart the laptop.
  Please check if the CD/DVD would be recognized correctly after reinstalling again.

  3 when was the last time it was working fine?

  4. you have any third-party DVD burning software installed on the computer?

  I had this similar problem, but after removing the upper and lower filters, everything worked again.

  You said that you noticed after Windows Vista update hmmm maybe it s only a software problem

  Have you tried to reinstall the OS using the Toshiba Recovery disk? I mean it would be really interesting to know if a recovery would help

  This path is not easy to tell if there is only a few small problem or maybe a malfunction but from your description, I assume that the reader can read but not write DVD media. In this case, it is really possible that the drive is faulty.

  If you have tested with different DVD media and the different burning applications, I'm pretty sure that the drive is faulty.

  You can try to login with the administrator account or an account with administrative privileges and reset your password (click on start-> settings-> Control Panel-> users and password-> select your username-> change password).

  It was solved by removing the Previews.lrdata folder as previews had been corrupted!

  As you said in your post that you have installed and have completed level 1, it seems that the installation is corrupt. Install the game on another system (Windows 7) and check if the problem persists or try with another CD and check if you are able to install the game.

  I suggest for Rayman 2 to uninstall and then reinstall and check. Follow step 2.

  I use PS as an amateur for a while and have been brushing up on some tutorials and have noticed that some images in tutorials videos are sharper than my own screen of the same image.

  For example, I followed a tutorial with a provided image that uses the halftone filter and changes made to the exact description of the tutorial produces a different result on my screen. My contrast seems to have a threshold down to small details like the strands of hair and on this occasion a thatch of the guy's face. There was a marked difference between the tones in the video than on my screen. (the lack of, in my case).

• Lightroom has no uninstall program. Told to find and trash. Fact that, Installer CC said OK. NOT!

  Lightroom doesn't have an uninstall program. Found the app did it. Installers says CC it's OK. NOT!
