Drivers Vista 64 for Ideapads

Hello, ladies and gentlemen.

Happy to confirm that Lenovo is Vista 64-bit drivers.

Technically all laptops with certain index (* index of 30 for example - Y530, Y430) are the same and their drivers are compatible.

Also - some drivers are even older systems. This means that you can give a try to the installation of the drivers for the newer models on older models.

Quick links - drivers for:

Y530

Y430

These drivers will also match Y330.

As far as the use of ATI Y730 and U330 graphics solutions, they will need their own 64 bit graphics drivers. Except this, will match the other drivers.

Energy management driver must match all previous models (Y510, etc.) as well, but this is not guaranteed.

UPD: correction of broken links

Due to some work on site strcture directory has been changed.

I've updated the links it works now.

    Hello

First, I'm sorry for the bad English because I'm french.
My laptop is L300 - 19F with Vista.

I reinstalled Windows Vista and I downloaded the drivers, but there is a problem:
on the site, on the page to download the drivers, there are a lot of drivers for a component.

For example, Firmware Update (2 versions) or Modem Driver (3 versions) or Modem region Select utility (2 versions) or Wireless Lan Driver (2 versions), there are many version and I don't know that I have to take.

In addition, what are the necessary drivers for proper use?

    Thank you very much!

    Hello!

Did you install the laptop with the Toshiba Recovery disk? The disk from Toshiba are all the drivers and tools.

If you need the driver from the Web from Toshiba site, choose always the most recent.

Have acquired a portable G10-100 which is under Vista Premium, and commissioning a new hardware found box appears for the mass storage controller. However, I was unable to find the driver for it. I contacted Toshiba who informed me that they don't support probems Vista on older machines! and an online search does not yield no results. Hello

Toshiba Qosmio G10 was delivered only with OS Win XP and not Vista.
According to the official document of Toshiba drivers Vista for G10 series don t exist and which will not.
I think that you should check the Web site of the (device) chip manufacturing to a compatible driver or test driver Vista released for an another series i.e Qosmio G30

    Good luck

  • New Vista drivers published recently for Qosmio G30 - nothing good for the G20?

Hi all users of the G20 (including Francisco Jr).

I just noticed a lot of new drivers Vista for the G30 were posted on this Web site in the last days. Has anyone tested them on the G20?

If all goes well, it will help with some of our outstanding issues...

    See you soon
    Burton

Yes, it would be interesting if they give real improvements. Sometimes, I'd appreciate it when some manufacturers would give a list any '' enhancement/correction '' with drivers for the users to decide if they want to install, or just wait for another version of the driver...

  • Qosmio F20-111: need drivers Vista-> Can I use drivers for F30?

I couldn't find a driver for my laptop vista. Can I use F30 drivers for my laptop F20?

    Thank you

    Hello

Of course, you can try to install the drivers of Qosmio F30 but the question is: drivers Vista F30 will work?
I think you should be able to install Vista on your F20.
But you will not be able to use the additional features of Toshiba Toshiba controls, keys FN, etc.

PS: I found very beautiful thread in the Qosmio G20 section.
Some of the guys discussed about Vista on the G20. Now for the G20 Vista drivers are not available, but FranciscoJr has handled this problem.

You can use windows print drivers on Vista 7 for printers that do not have support for Vista?

    Hello

It would be useful that you started with the make and model of printer.

Usually it's the other way around - use drivers Windows Vista on Windows 7 unit.  Windows is supported in this regard.

Have you already installed the printer on Windows Vista?

  • drivers vista 64 bit for 1720

Two weeks ago, I noticed there was drivers 64 bit for vista available for my inspiron 1720.  So knowing this I bought a copy of Vista 64 Ultimate.  I got it in the mail, I was so excited because now I could justify my purchase of 4 GB of ram.

I opened the package, installed, got to the point where I'm getting a 1.0 on my vista performance cues because the poor quality video card drivers that come with Vista built in.  I think to myself, is time to download the drivers and see how much more quickly.

I'm on the dell Web site, to see that there are NO drivers for vista 64!  OK, so I now have a Clipboard 17 "in force.  I can't download drivers for the Videocard of nvidia as built is special and exclusive.  I can only download from dell but dell can't apparently not 64-bit.  Any advice?

I feel like that kid who got a great toy for Christmas, but no batteries with it, and since it's Christmas, the store is closed, I hope that you guys can open one up for me: smileyvery-happy:

  • Where are drivers Vista for Satellite M70

    Hi, guys

    Toshiba recommends vista :)
But so far, they have not submitt a driver (vista version) for M70 series
If there is anything new, please let know me.

    GUYS BYE

    [Edited by: admin]

    Hello

Yes Toshiba recommends Vista with new laptops capable perhaps Vista. Your Vista M70 is capable? You have capable sticker of Vista on it?

I M70 - 159 and there is no Vista capable sticker. Last month I installed Vista Ultimate on it and it works perfectly. Only problem I have is not enough RAM. M70 has 512 MB only and with more RAM, I am sure that Vista will work much better.

In the end, I can say that I have a very good and positive experience with Vista and Satellite M70 - 159. Now my question: what is your problem?

  • Drivers Vista 32-bit works on XP 32 bit?

I got this HP model a6544f since a few months now and find that much too much my older hardware (scanner, etc.) and 16-bit software (which I use daily) simply does not work with Vista or a 64-bit OS. I prefer to use XP 32-bit where all happy lives on my old machine. But the driver for this system only specifies Vista 32 - bit or 64 - bit. I already added a "real" video card to get digital and put output at power level to manage this card. If necessary, I suppose I could live with the 32-bit version of Vista, but would really prefer to use XP. (I think of all the "improvements" in Vista as nothing else that candies for the eyes, and you have disabled as many of them as possible anyway.)

Does anyone know if Vista drivers 32 - bt for different systems of motherboard will install on XP 32 bit? It will make you life easier if they do!

    Thank you

    Greg

Hmmm... all the drivers I need are components of the motherboard . I was under the impression that HP (Compaq) plus their own Board of Directors. This would imply that it won't be manufactured by 'component', all the drivers no?

Motherboards are circuit boards, which don't require drivers.  Components (i.e. the device IC) soldered to the circuit require drivers.  They are made by the respective device providers. for example peripheral chips done Intel Intel, NVIDIA is peripheral chips NVIDIA, Realtek is peripheral chips Realtek, so on and so immediately.

And no, HP does not motherboards.  Even if it did, nothing would change, he wouldn't have the IC device used on the motherboard.  HP gets the device drivers to the sellers of the device, as everyone (including the motherboard manufacturers).

That said, you should have no problem getting the current XP drivers.  All devices in this system are suppliers that make drivers available to the public.  There are some sellers who don't release drivers for the public, like Atheros, Analog Devices, Broadcom (only for wireless cards), Sigmatel (IDT) and a few others, but your system does not all devices from these suppliers.

Here are the devices that require drivers of your system:

Intel Matrix Storage Manager for RAID or AHCI ICH9R

    FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/softlib/Software7/COL16029/PV-42541-1/sp26804.exe

Agere LFW3227 Firewire (provided by the seller of BONE)

You are using a PCI-E graphics card so the drivers are not necessary for the graphics card Intel integrated, which is automatically disabled when you use the PCI-E x 16 graphics card.  FireWire and USB controller drivers are now provided by Microsoft for OS later to Windows XP SP1, make sure you get those through the operating system, service packs or Windows Update.

To answer your original question, some driver packages can support Vista and Windows XP.  For example, I downloaded a driver Atheros WiFi Dell's who did the support for Windows Vista.  But when I extracted the driver files, it contained drivers, and other files required for both Vista and XP, but the real drivers for Vista are not compatible with Windows XP.

  • Need drivers 64-bit for Satellite P300-1BB

    Hello

I have a Satellite P300-1BB with 4 GB of RAM, so I decided to upgrade my OS to Vista 64-bit. But I can't find 64-bit drivers. In the toshiba Web site, there are a lot of 32-bit drivers, but all 64-bit drivers. In my PC, in the folder c:/Toshiba, there is the 32-bit drivers and 64-bit drivers, but not all.

So where I can find all the drivers 64-bit for my Satellite P300-1BB, and where I can find software of Toshiba (like toshiba assist, ect...) for Vista 64 bit?

    Thank you

    Hello

Satellite P300 seems to be a new series for the moment so I think this might be the reason why you can't find the drivers 64-bit on Toshiba page

But you worry about don t dude I m sure that Toshiba will be out the 64-bit driver next time I remember although 64-bit for the other series drivers were later also released.

    Just for the note;
Some series have been equiupped with the same hardware devices. THEN maybe you could check some different unique series laptop drivers

    (1) TOSHIBA HDD Protection - sensor shock (driver for Vista x 64)

    (2) compatible TOSHIBA ACPI value added goal general and logical device (Driver for Vista x 64)

    As the driver agent!

X 64 biometric fingerprint software & digital reader driver update available via the site UPEK however I was charged a fee, as custom Tosh Bio driver does not support x 64 vista todate.

Any help on the above a lot appreciated.
    Rob ;)

You can try to use the drivers for Vista 64-bit of the manufacture of the chip but it seems that you need drivers designed by Toshiba. :(

Unfortunately, Toshiba does not all 64-bit drivers. Or for XP for Vista.

If all goes well, they will change this in the future, but right now, there is nothing to do.

  • Drivers Windows 7 for the Qosmio G40-12 s

    I have a Qosmio G40 - 12 s with windows Vista 32-bit Edition full
And I install a Windows7 Ultimate 32 bit instead of vista, before I had to download all the drivers in this link (http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp)
    I select these choices:
    Laptop > Qosmio > Qosmio G Series > Qosmio G40 > PQG40E > Windows7 32 Bit > ALL > ALL > English > search

but I think that there is no version of Windows7 that vista has, for example: there are no drivers for Windows7 infrared but here one for Vista
He is there not TEMPRO, ASSENT, silent acoustic, AMT, online Information product, Manager of remote control, Touchpad Driver, tiles for Mobility Center, etc... For windows 7!
My Vista driver was 27 driver - windows 7 driver only 19!

Driver 8 was missing in this link, we find that drivers?

I find TouchPad driver and I found one for her, but I can't found pilot infrared and Manager remotely so my remote not working do not now?

    Please advise me!

You are right. Some drivers are not available. I noticed the same thing for my Satellite A300.
For missing drivers, you can install the Vista drivers.

I did the same thing and everything works fine.
