TECRA M9 - drivers Vista x64bit

Can anyone help to track down these x 2 required x 64 bit drivers for Windows Vista?

The Device Manager console tree Vista requires the following (unknown drivers) which are actually

(1) TOSHIBA HDD Protection - sensor shock (driver for Vista x 64)

(2) compatible TOSHIBA ACPI value added goal general and logical device (Driver for Vista x 64)

As the driver agent!
* These are the only required drivers now make the Tecra 100% functional.

X 64 biometric fingerprint software & digital reader driver update available via the site UPEK however I was charged a fee, as custom Tosh Bio driver does not support x 64 vista todate.

Any help on the above a lot appreciated.
Rob ;)

You can try to use the drivers for Vista 64-bit of the manufacture of the chip but it seems that you need drivers designed by Toshiba. :(

Unfortunately, Toshiba does not all 64-bit drivers. Or for XP for Vista.

If all goes well, they will change this in the future, but right now, there is nothing to do.

  • Qosmio F20-111: need drivers Vista-> Can I use drivers for F30?

I couldn't find a driver for my laptop vista. Can I use F30 drivers for my laptop F20?

    Thank you

    Hello

Of course, you can try to install the drivers of Qosmio F30 but the question is: drivers Vista F30 will work?
I think you should be able to install Vista on your F20.
But you will not be able to use the additional features of Toshiba Toshiba controls, keys FN, etc.

PS: I found very beautiful thread in the Qosmio G20 section.
Some of the guys discussed about Vista on the G20. Now for the G20 Vista drivers are not available, but FranciscoJr has handled this problem.

  • I have an ASUS P5KPL-VM support cd and it says "drivers vista inside", but there is no serial key and how I put in place?

I looked in the box, he had no serial number, but it has a sticker and said the SN: n ° 81MOAD204352 and part: 90_MBB790_GOAAYOKZ if you are a Microsoft support worker please help me.

Why is it a "serial key" for pilots?

Or do you think that means something when it's not?

"Drivers Vista inside" simply means that the drivers that enable Windows Vista (operating system) to communicate correctly with the ASUS P5KPL-VM motherboard are on CD for (install you to use in Windows Vista once you have Windows Vista installed.)  What he NOT average, and I think if you think that means, is that you can install Windows Vista with this CD.

If you try to install Windows Vista - you need an installation of Windows Vista DVD and product key.  It is unlikely that one would come with your motherboard - although some company might have implemented their own together I guess (although just a motherboard and operating system - that would be weird).

  • Tecra S2-> drivers and utilities for Vista?

    Hello

Does anyone know if Toshiba intends to release drivers for the Tecra S2, is not so old and my model has more then enough grunt to run Vista, my only hesitation in the upgrade is not knowing if utilities such as power manager will work, or if they will all be upgraded.

    Thank you!

The update/version of the Vista driver is a theme of Top10 here in the forum.
    (check the other categories ;))

I think Toshiba will first publish drivers for mobile phones capable of Vista with vista tab.
I m not sure about books another but I think Toshiba will release some drivers for laptops that are able to run Vista

    Let's be patient.

  • Need x 64 Vista for Tecra A9 drivers

I would like to install Windows Vista x 64, but there is a problem on Toshiba page is not compatible with vista x 64 drivers. I have a Tecra A9 laptop.
Anyone know what other Toshiba laptop I could take the drivers?

    > Anyone know what other Toshiba laptop I could take the drivers?

Hmm. You should check the single computer series laptop and you should try the drivers only. Maybe some drivers will work on your Tecra because many laptops are equipped with the same features.

I don t see otherwise as to check the drivers only.
Also check your chipset that is installed in your laptop and then some drivers for this chip on chip manufacture website.
For example; If your wireless network card is Intel then you can see the Intel page for the correct driver.

    Good luck

  • Tecra M7: What is the correct order to install drivers Vista

    Hello

after Vista fleeing RTM on my Tecra M7 Tablet and using a mixture of XP and Vista drivers, I decided to rebuild my machine.
However is - that someone could advise on the order in which the Vista drivers must be applied when Vista is back on?

    Kind regards

    Rhys

    Hello

As you can see the document of instructions for installations is unfortunately not available but you can try to install it on this way:

    OPERATING SYSTEM
    Display driver
    Audio driver
    Driver modem
    touchpad driver
    Flash media driver
    Value Added Package
    Tablet PC Extension Package
    Support Button
    Config Free
    And so on...

I hope you will successfully install OS.

  • Buttons do not work on Tecra M7 after Vista Upgrade

I know that this has been addressed several times to apologize and need to wear it again as my two function keys on my Tecra do not work Vista Ultimate Upgrade post.

If I press one of them is right now they launch Windows Mobility Center. I know that's not what must happen. They haven't worked briefly last year after that my machine is back to Toshiba repair. They performed a kind of utility that has restored the functions (I had to fall back XP Tablet as one I had a problem of CD ROM believed was bound Vista and turned out be hardware failure), alas, I haven't been back to Vista and they don't work.

I have installed all updates for Vista in the order they appear on the web site. I have since saw the order suggested to load the Vista drivers. A suggestion to Toshiba - it would REALLY help if you produced a leveling guide updated for Vista with a step by step guide describing the order in which the updates must be performed.

Anyone out there that can help you - I would be really grateful for your comments.

I managed to solve this problem by changing the Toshiba value added package items. I had to check a box for support button that had not been added. If anyone else knows this cumulative, I hope this helps.

  • How downgrade Tecra S10 to Vista?

My friend asked me to fix his laptop. There Tecra S10-11 has. He had installed Vista, but it was installed Win7.
Now, he wants to come back that Vista, but it does not create the recovery disk. I checked the laptop and there 1.46 GB recovery partition.

It seems too small. How can I reinstall Vista and remove the installation of Windows 7?

I don't know what your friend did exactly and how he had installed Win7, but you can try to start the operating system from the HARD disk installation > http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD9102IR0000R01.htm but I don't think it will work.
So to get Vista back you have two options:
-To order the Toshiba Recovery disk under https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx and have the factory settings or
-To install Vista using the Microsoft installation disc. All the necessary drivers, tools and utilities that you can download at Toshiba support page > http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com

The second option is not so complicated and with our help, you can do this. ;)

  • Tecra M4: Windows Vista fan speed

    Hello

After upgrading my laptop (Tecra M4, 2 GB of RAM, 64 MB GeForce) to Windows Vista, the fan (left) seams to run all the time - just after the start of Vista. Of course, I installed all the current drivers and tools, as well as more recent (3.30) BIOS.

I also tried to optimize the power settings in Vista. Here, I finally found the 'new' Toshiba PowerSaver (btw: the old PowerSaver XP tools are much better!).
-Something I noticed: if I put 'Method of cooling' to "Battery optimized", the fan stops for a while, but I think that's not the solution?

The CPU temperature is 43 ° C (checked with Notebook Hardware Controll), but RivaTuner said that the ambient Tempature GPU is approximately 127 ° C (which I can't believe because the temperature of the GPU Core is 'only' about 62 ° C). But also 62 ° C is quite high for the GPU - issn can't it? (there only to display Aero Glass on Vista)

So I think my problem is the GPU (temperature, driver,...)?
All the solutions on this point - or is the switch it on XP?

    Hello

I agree with the tabbycat. Your model of laptop Tecra is designed and offered with Windows XP Home edition. Toshiba has designed the BIOS version 3.30 for this laptop and this BIOS is designed to support the Vista operating system. Before the installation of Vista the BIOS must be updated to the latest version (Windows XP Home edition).

After the BIOS update, you must install Vista. Now you can backup all your data, install Windows XP Home edition, using a recovery media and update the BIOS.

When finished install Vista OS and I hope that the laptop will work much better and you will be satisfied.

  • Tecra M3 and Vista 32 - bit hibernate white screen

    Hello:

I have the Tecra M3 running great of Vista Enterprise 32-bit.

However, when the Tecra goes into hibernation in Vista, I can't go out there the hibernation mode. By pressing the power button, any key, space bar, move the mouse, click the mouse or CTRL-ALT-DEL does not work.

I can only get out of hibernation by pressing and holding down the power button for 5-15 seconds to restart the Tecra.

I have all the latest drivers installed on Toshiba site including the NVIDIA Display Driver Version 7.15.11.5663 for Windows Vistadriver_display_nvidia_os2007303a.

    THX.

I read recently that, if this problem occurs, you must perform a BIOS update.

    Go here: http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com

And check if you have installed the latest version of the BIOS. If this is not the case, the update.
