Droid - length of e-mail with Exchange Server problem

-Very well, so I'm moderately new to the DROID, but I'm not new phones or technology.  I know that the DROID and exchange server do not have the best time together but I was wondering if there is a setting somewhere that allows me to receive full email when I use the built in DROID Exchange program.  Now when I get an email that seems to receive the first X number of characters, then the rest is not here.  It comes out about paragraphs, words worth.  Y at - it a setting that I am missing or that's how it is with everyone.  I see a lot of people download hit, what I'll do if I have to, but I'm a poor College kid, the last thing I want to do is to drop $ 20 on something that I think the phone should already so.  Any ideas or suggestions?  Thank you.

OneGuy, I bet that your school use Zimbra, an alternative open source Exchange. Search this forum for "zimbra" for more details.   Best regards, Paul

  • Unable to send mail via exchange server with Version 38.0.1 - password problems

    Last week, when my computer desktop auto-upgraded to 38.0.1, he lost the ability to send mail with SMTP. (It always returns an error message saying that the password is not recognized). I went around and with the administration of the server, and they are sure that the problem is on my end. All server settings are correct, according to the administration of the server and, in any case, I do not change them what has worked with earlier versions of this morning, I finally had to restart Thunderbird on my home computer. I tested the Version 31 immediately before restart - it worked. Then I tried the Version 38.0.1 immediately after the restart, - it did not work.

    I have disabled the firewall on the computer, but it made no difference. Both computers running all Windows 64-bit both 8.1; they have two different firewalls.

    I pasted in the troubleshooting information in Thunderbird below.

  • Windows Server 2008 standard R2 with Exchange server 2010

    Hello

    I have an old server that has been removed from the network that it was used for active domains (domain controller) and emails,

    A new server (Windows Server 2012) took his place with a new address ip and domain name for every pc.

    I would like to return the 2008 server in the network so I can continue to use exchange as your e-mail server server.

    How to 'reset' the server so I can put in the new network, using the new domain controller and damain network and have the old server as the e-mail server.

    Does anyone have instructions step by step on how to do it, or can give me a link on how to do it.

    Thank you.

    It works! :-)

    I have checkt ist out!  (it cost me hours)

    You must for sure the two certivicates of your Exchange Server.

    You must install both. But not in the folder "own certifcates", (win8 will install automatically there).

    Install them in the folder "cert trust...". »

    After that, you will be able to connect to your Exchange Server with the Mail application.

    Hope this helps

  • TREO PRO with Exchange server synchronization

    Hello

    Im trying to sync my Plam to my Exchange Server. It was Ok and worked perfect until last week. He stopped sync: there was no updated security certificate.

    I tried to install a security certificate, but it was rejected by Palm.

    What should I do?

    I guess you have tried a 'soft reset '? You can do it with the reset button or simply remove the battery for 5 seconds and reinsert. Note: This is not to be confused with a "hard reset." a 'hard reset' will erase all your data.

    Another thing you could try is to remove and re-add the Exchange account. To facilitate the entry, you can do it when you are connected to the ActiveSync client on your PC.

  • How to find a client software to connect Palm Centro directly with Exchange Server?

    Thanks for the reply.  I've read some things rather unkind on VersaMail features when used in conjunction with Outlook from other access to the same server as I do and also on ActiveSync, but who am I to judge the accuracy of these comments.  I do not have the CD at hand, but I prefer by far using Mac for office.  I'm scared, I'm back to the BlackBerry and its shabby calendar with the zone problem for those of us traveling.  Once again, thank you for the reply.

  • Strange folder Mac Mail with Exchange account

    At our office we have recently moved from an internal e-mail to the Office Server Exchange account to Office 365. There is a strange folder appear on all Macs do anything ranging from the El Capitan back to the Lion where a folder called "Files" appear in the list of folder icons in the sidebar. This folder does not appear when connected to Office 365 via a web browser, but it behaves like a single folder, because it can not be removed (a bit like the record of Conversations and new background image file).

    In the folder named "Files" appears to be a collection of recipes from any email that had an attachment either sent or received. Not actually content, just a bunch of time and date stamp info, file name and a few times the code. Always displayed as SENDER of NO.

    No idea what it is and how make us it go away?

    I have also experienced this problem.

    Not sure what exactly is the cause, but all attachments sent or received are stripped of its text and an empty email with no recipient is located in the folder "files".

    When I start Outlook on Mac or Office365 in the browser, I can't see the folder "files".

    Hi all

    I use jdev 11.1.1.5.0 version.

    In my use case I use java mail api to read mail from the mail server and to display on the page jspx output component.

    but the problem is that when I access the message and printed in the console using System.out.println () message printed on console with bet in shape.

    but when I put the value of message in the output text using the link as msgbody.setValue (msg) it is the message on the screen but without shaped.

    code is more...

    Inbox folder = store.getFolder ("INBOX");

    Inbox. Open (Folder.READ_ONLY);

    Msg message = inbox.getMessage (inbox.getMessageCount ());

    Address [] = msg.getFrom ();

    for (address: in) {}

    System.out.println ("FROM:" + address.toString ());

    }

    Several party mp = (Multipart) msg.getContent ();

    BodyPart bp = mp.getBodyPart (0);

    System.out.println ("CONTENT:" + bp.getContent ());  This display message of line in the correct format.

    so my question is that how to display message on page jspx in the right format.

    Thanks in advance

    In this case, you can use an inputText component and set it to read-only. This element shows the line breaks if you set the property to a value > 1 rows.

  • is "is there a connection with the server problem", in El Capitan

    Hi guys,.

    I've tried to sort myself but up to now no joy... :-(

    I'm under El Capitan on a MacBook and for weeks I need to install a specific program through CDROM connected with my old Mac Mini (Tiger) via my WiFi use it as a hard drive external.

    Everything worked fine, but then I get this annoying message "there was a problem connecting to the server...". »

    So far on:

    1. the service of Mac Mini is not listed in the connection points

    2. the Mac mini is no longer connected to my network

    It seems that this message has something to do with my iCloud service, I tried to unplug and deletion and fixed but as soon as I have reactivated iCloud began to burst once again.

    Any suggestion?

    Thank you

    Sebastiano

    Have you tried to remove the software that you have installed as instructed by the developer?

  • Removal of e-mails with Outlook Express problems

    I can't delete some emails from my Inbox in Outlook Express.

    1. move all the messages you want to keep out folders, sent items and deleted items, and in other local OE folders you have created for archiving (backup) of such messages.

    1B. move 99% of your messages in your Inbox folder to other folders the of OE, too.

    2. Note the location of the store of your identity (http://www.insideoe.com/files/store.htm#storemain).

    2B. turn on "Show hidden folders and files" via start | Control Panel | Folder options | View (cf.http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial62.html).

    3. close OE.

    4. in Windows Explorer, navigate to your storage folder, find & removeOutbox.dbx, Sent Items.dbxand Deleted Items.dbxfile.

    To avoid such problems in the future, comply with the following restrictions:

    N ' not use Inbox or sent items to archive messages.  Move them to local folders created for this purpose.

    -Empty the deleted items folder daily.

    -Frequently perform a manual compact of all OE while records that "work offline".  More onhttp://www.insideoe.com/files/maintain.htm

    -Do not cancel automatic compacting, where it would happen and do not try to close OE via Manager tasks or stop your Automatic compaction machine can take place.

    -Disable e-mail scanning in your antivirus application.  It can cause corruption (i.e., loss of messages) and offers no additional protection:
