Dropped connection Wi - Fi on HP 8610

My officejet pro 8610 interrupts the wireless connection when he goes to sleep. When you turn on the printer and the new, it re-establishes the connection.   How can I fix it?

I found a solution!

After you set up the printer, I restarted the router.   Who did it!   The system has been frozen for a few weeks now.

  • The most convenient airport and Arris CM820 modem drop connection

I have Airport Extreme 6 Gen and a few months back from a 'new' Arris CM820 Time Warner Cable modem. Since then, I did have slowly and dropped connection problems a day - mostly in the evening so that streaming on Apple TV and Roku, and navigation devices on the MacBook Air and iPads at the same time. Each time, I do unplug it, wait 30 seconds and plug back in and it's good for a while. But it happens almost every day. I have been emailing and talking by phone with a representative from Apple support for a few weeks (had a record of the case), then she disappeared on me. I've updated firmware (v 7.7.7). Have also tried using a 5 G network as an alternative - but there is no help. Anyone else having these issues with the 'new' modems THAT TWC sends?

If you have already tested the modem, try to choose a time when you can turn off the AirPort router and connect your Mac directly to the modem for a day or two to try things like that.

Alternatively, you can of course call TWC support and have them check the line and the modem, but you already know that they will say that "things seem good to here" and that "the problem must be another device, like your router. .. even though things worked very well before receiving the 'new' modem.

If the MacBook Air listed in your slogan is the only Mac you have, then you will need a lightning Apple Ethernet adapter to perform this test.   Maid in Gigabit Ethernet Adapter - Apple

If connection problems continue when you have the Mac connected directly to the modem, the modem would then become a strong suspect.  This is possible.  But, it is also possible that the connection remains stable throughout your test... and if it's the result, TWC has strong arguments to say that their service and the modem are working well.

Until then, you really don't know if you have a modem problem, a problem of the airport, or as can sometimes be the case... a modem - router compatibility issue. In such cases, the modem out OK and airport does as well, and each manufacturer blames the other for the problem.

Please post on your 'test' results in the next few days.

  • Airport Extreme 7,7,7 drop connection and internet high speed

My Airport Extreme (6th generation) have had the serious problems of the internet, as said in the title I had problems with my internet connection, I checked if that was the problem of the modem to the beginning (D3.0 Ubee) which was provided by my Internet, Charter provider.

I've had Airport Extreme for almost a year to 2 years now and since then, I had no problem with my internet until 7.7.7 update came.

I updated my firmware and this is where my random internet connection problem started.

My current contract with the Charter are their 60 Mbps (download speed) and 4 Mbps (download speed), during the first days since I've updated 7.7.7 connections was fine and then my internet has started to decline since a means 50-60 Mbps (download speed) to 0.1 - 2 mb/s (download speed), my download speed has remained a constant 3-4 MB/s (download speed). I have tried and used Opendns several times, he really did nothing.

I tried to turn off both modem and Airport extreme for a couple of minutes and turn on their return, but he does nothing and just refers to an extremely slow speed.

The only way I found to fix my problem to get my internet to 0.1 - 2 mb/s (download speed) back to its original state, I find myself to be a restore return settings on the Airport Extreme with my Airport utility by default whenever the problem returns (which contributes to a certain degree as it gets my back up to 50 internet-60 MB/s) then he drops down again).

I wanted to restore to 7.7.6 or the latest version of previous firmware before 7.7.7 (not too sure what version of firmware, it was) but I can't find how to spend my Airport extreme to my Airport utility.

My question is what could I do to fix this problem if the decommissioning of my extreme (I need instructions with this too), change some settings, get rid of the * thing and get a new router, or am I stuck resetting to the parameter by default whenever she acts upward.

I use windows 10 for my laptop

    Thank you for your time

Unfortunately, the first question that you encountered is the AirPort for Windows utility has not been updated since Windows 7. In addition, it is not supported for use with the 802.11ac latest versions of airport base stations. Then downgrade to earlier versions of the firmware for base station can be difficult, unless you can get hold of a Mac or iOS device.

If you are ready to test Windows 10, here are the steps to do:

    • Open the AirPort for Windows utility.
    • Select the base and then station in the utility menu bar, select the access point > Download Firmware...
    • Click on the Download Version dialog box, where the current version of the firmware is listed.
    • You should now see a list of the firmware versions that are available.
    • Click on the one you want to get off at.
    • Choose either 'continue' to continue with the downgrade, OR click 'Cancel' If you decide not to do so.
    • If you choose to continue, allow the firmware to be downloaded, installed and the base station to turn.
  • Trek PR2000 DHCP problems, maintains a drop connections, perhaps workaround

    Hello!

A few days ago, I bought the new Netgear Trek PR2000 mobile wireless router. Goal was to have a point of contact for all my devices while traveling and be able to connect to a hotspot or wifi in the hotel.

Configuration has been fine and I was able to connect to my home network in wireless client mode. My router is a TP-Link TL-WR1043ND running OpenWrt 12.09 Attitude Adjustment, wifi with WPA2-AES, DHCP service.

The Trek has been able to connect, and the whole system was running. Unfortunately, I realized, that the Trek has kept falling connections every 3-5 minutes with the genius of Netgear annoying pop up and try to re-establish a connection. Sometimes it worked, then the Trek cannot connect at all.

Since I read that OpenWrt Attitude Adjustment can be problems with some wifi connections, I have improved my WR1043ND barrier breaker. The connection drops continued, including OSX almost every minute. The WR1043ND showed various DHCP-wifi-a failed-to-recognize-errors and in his diary.

After trying all possible setting changes in the Trek-config (and shortly before returning the Trek), I found something as a workaround. In the Trek-config, I disabled the DHCP Server for the LAN area and assigned static IP addresses to connecting clients. Well at least so far, it seems to work very well. No more connections, no more boring engineering arise not interrupted and try to reconnect, the system seems to work.

But for now, I'm a little confused as to the reason. In my view, the Trek connects to a hotspot and gets an IP address assigned by DHCP from hotspot. Then the Trek uses NAT to connect the clients attached to the internet. Actually the IP addresses of the DHCP assigned by the Trek to customers connected to the LAN area shouldn't affect hotspot NETWORK settings at all. Normally the IP address and private DNS settings are just for private clients LAN, aren't they? If I'm not completely wrong in my assumption, there could be a bug in the DHCP server on the hike or the way how dynamic the client LAN IPs are handled. From the point where I changed to static IP in the LAN client, there was no error message in the log of the WR1043ND.

Strange thing... Maybe someone could correct me if my assumptions are wrong? BTW, I use the stock PR2000 Trek firmware (which is something like 1.0.0.9) since there is no other is available.

    Thank you.

@hksteve I wish to inform you that the fix is now available from our download page.

Feel free to update your firmware and provide feedback.

    Thank you!

  • How to connect the HP Officejet Pro 8610 to a laptop that does not connect to internet

Just bought the HP all-in-one Officejet Pro 8610 for the local historical society. The laptop and the printer will be connected to the Internet. The printer will only be used for printing reports, scanning images, etc.

I just removed the instruction manual to familiarize myself with the connection procedure, but I noticed there are several references that require internet access.

Is there a workaround solution that allows me to install/connect the printer without having to access the internet?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello

Given a special environment USB is probably the way to go. You don't need a special USB cable. Your printer has two USB ports, one on the front (#4) and the other at the back. You must use the rear USB port (#13)

And the USB cable is similar to the following:

    http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?Main_Page=product_info&products_id=25512&cPath=135&utm_source=GoogleBase&utm_medium=CSE&utm_campaign=export_feed&gclid=CJqz96LO-8ECFdglvQodZmkAYA#GoogleBase

The "flat" end for your computer/laptop and 'round' (well almost round) is for the printer. Please check the box first, depending on where you are (country, region), the cable may already be inside the box.

    Kind regards.

  • WRT320N constantly drop connection

I have a router WRT320N.  He is constantly declining internet connection and it is very difficult to restore when this happens.  Basically, I have to wait is "feels like" reconnect.  If I just wait, the connection will return.

This affects not only wireless, but Wired so computers.

One interesting thing I noticed, is that the login page changes when the internet connection.  If I put the address 192.168.1.1 in the browser when internet is not working, I get a different login page that looks like this:

    Link

My regular connection password or the default password works on this page.  I was not able to guess no more.  This could be a clue for someone who knows more than me on this problem.

I read a few threads on this forum and adjusted the settings in the configuration of the router which have been proposed as solutions.  I don't remember any changes, but that they had something to do with the packet size and PNP or something similar.  I always have problems.

It's really frustrating.  When I need to do something important, I have to bypass the router to get a stable connection.  Help, please

    Thanks in advance,

    Mike

I think I have solved my problem.  The Linksys WRT320N router's default IP address is 192.168.1.1.  I changed the IP address of the router 192.168.0.1 and it suddenly cleared up.  I ran two days without a drop of water at this stage.

I think that there is another device somewhere in cyberspace that was the IP 192.168.1.1 and is in conflict with my router.  This is why I would like to get this page to connect to the strange search I didn't recognize when you try to connect to the router configuration menus.  I know that this unknown device wasn't my cable modem because it has an address 192.168.100.1.  I don't know what is the unknown device or where it is located.

So if you have a similar problem, try changing the IP address of your Linksys router.

  • Windows 7 is constantly looking for other networks and drop connection

Original title: the upgrade of Windows 7 for XP

I first installed this OS a year ago to this date. Loved, absolutley was entrenched with how easy it was and just how 'worked '. I am a software developer myself and am happy to report all my IDEs, the server settings, etc. all worked like a charm. I had a little problem with VPN but it works with the Vista one (with some work) so I can't complain.

My problem and this is why I uninstalled windows 7 and will be EVER is back at it before it is solved the same problem 10 years ago. He keeps every 60 seconds looking for other networks or drop the connection no reason apparent. With windows XP, I could disable the Zero wireless and everything would be fine. However, with windows 7 if I turn the WLAN service nothing on this earth that will allow me to connect to it without a third-party application.

In the end I used a 3rd party app made by the chipset driver and it still failed (but had limited success).

It is a known problem with windows operating systems. This just "does not work" at all. It's a pain in the thigh and is the reason why people are saying that the wireless is terrible for gaming. I know that isn't true since I have never had a fall with windows XP or my dual boot SuSe OS. 3rd parties even tried to fix this for microsoft in creating the WLAN and Vista Antilag optimizer which all fail for windows 7.

And just to show you how apparent is this bug...

    customer complaints

It seems to somehow keep seeps through the cracks with every version of windows. Simply because I know that this wont never be resolved after 10 years ive thrown my copy in the trash and advising all my loved ones to stay on XP. I used to think... "they'll fix" but quite honestly, I think that microsoft is tone deaf to it.

With regard to upgrading my firmware on my router is concerned, I have programmed my own. I used 3 different routers. My drivers are all up to this date for my card wireless on this box. I used XP drivers with slightly better results but remains unacceptable. I was running with a hackintosh and vmware fusion rather than deal with these headaches after work.

Maybe im being a bit too critical, but make you pay back for a BONE which does not have everything because of XP.

After buying a WNDR3700 N600 top double band brand new brand of the router Netgear power line she didn't always.

2 solid ways fixed my issue.

the network of windows 7 reason fails

One, I had to turn off the service navigation computer in administrative services as noted above.

Two, I had to turn off the power save feature on the usb network adapters.

Not many people understand how to solve this problem, but I would ditch the derivative of the net bios completely.

  • Dropped connections and background processes

I like the new ability to a background process, but I would like to know what background processes are underway and how long they have been broadcast.

I recently had problems with connections dropped with our databases because of a recent. The problem is associated with the network not DB related exactly, but it would be nice not to have to manually disconnect and reconnect again. When we get the error - the connection has been lost or not connected, for me, it would be logical to be reconnect automatically or "Refresh" the connection via a button. I know it's a pending issue in sqldeveloper, but I can't believe it's so hard for developers to add this feature. It's happened to all that, take 30 minutes, coding for this problem? Thank you.

To see what background processes are running you will need to use the progression of tasks pane (view > the task progress)-this will show in the progression of tasks as well as those who filled by mistake (I think it's he who filled watch tasks - it shows certainly tempted with errors of syntax of queries).

On reconnecting, the current 2.1.1 version is a step back from recent versions facing better, trying to reconnect automatically upon detection of an interruption of the connection. I hope that, this reconnection will be corrected in the next release, but we will have to wait and see. As you suggest, an option menu to reconnect when the first disconnects and then reconnects likely shouldn't be too hard, but I guess that the development team thinks that the manual reconnection is quite low priority because it would only save two mouse clicks on four with the existing connection right click menu - especially if they are working on the automatic reconnection of fixation.

  • Lightning iPhone headphone 7 drop connection

I have a new iPhone 7 (128GB, model MNAJ2LL/A - Verizon), and I have questions with the help of headphones of lightning.

    At this point, I tried:

    • the Atria of lightning accompanying
    • Bose QC20i with the dongle of helmet
    • Bose SIE2i with headphone dongle

If I connect the port of lightning while the screen of the phone is off (and locked), the remote headset online do not accept phone calls (and I can't hear the phone ring in the headset).

Secondly, I plugged the plug and then made a phone call to the phone.  The phone connected to the call, but while I could hear the other person, they could not hear me.

In both cases, if I unplugged the headset and plugged to hide in, they worked very well.

While it's just sitting without music / a call in progress, I also hear a noise clicking about 45 seconds after I turned off the screen, after which the action button on my headset (the call accept/end/play/pause /...) is no longer active Siri.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I have the same problem - when using Bose headphones w / microphone, I hear people on a phone call, but they don't hear me.

  • 7.7.7 drops connections

I installed 7.7.7 on my AirPort Extreme tall, it seemed to happen for two days. Then he started to remove connections to my Mac, iPhone and other connected stuff. All would pass without warning when using kill all the current connections. He would have to do this once every 15 minutes. My main Mac was the worst because it wouldn't reconnect automatically when wifi came back. This has happened for two days until what I finally had to return to 7.7.3 to maintain mental health and normalcy in my house. Anyone else having this problem?

I have the same problem. Coming back to the old version, as well.

  • Apple Watch drop connection with Plantronics BackBeat FIT

Hello. I recently bought a pair of headphones Plantronics BackBeat FIT to pair with my Apple Watch wireless via bluetooth. I was easily able to pair the headset with my watch as soon as I started to exercise in the gym, the headphones were disconnected after only a few seconds. Extremely frustrating! Even after re-connecting/re-pairing etc. several times, I still encounter the same problem. Will there be a fix anytime soon to fix the bug?

There is an update of the firmware you should do. Download the app on your iPhone and do the update. It's the Plantronics website:

    BackBeat MADE Firmware Release Notes

    Version 594

26 April 2016: BackBeat FIT 594 Firmware Version

    What's new

    • Audio performance with the Apple Watch
  • Time Capsule drops connection

I have a 3-4 years old Time Capsule (Gen 3 I think) and it suddenly started to abandon the wifi connection.  A reboot on the TC better - but I've seen a lot of posts about what is a problem.

Is there anyway to diagnose the problem?

On average, the useful lifetime of a time Capsule is about 3 years.  After that, the food begins descent position, which can cause a very brief momentary power loss, resulting in an interruption of the connection at any time.

That the slides of supply of power more downhill, lost connections will increase more and more often.

In short, this is the problem.  Unfortunately, I don't have a solution that you want to hear.

Apple not offer repairs or spare parts for the time Capsule, and even if you can find a repair shop to work on the Time Capsule, they will have to try to find parts... which can be a challenge. Another fact to consider is that repairs... If they are possible... will likely cost more that the cost of a new Capsule of time... and you'll still have an old hard drive installed inside the time Capsule.

If you do not have a 3rd Gen Time Capsule... it is at least 4 years and older and in function when it bought 6 +.  You have very, very well done.

  • iPad / iPhone drop connection constantly

I have a line electric WLAN system based on the modem provided by my ISP and a time Capsule Airport (in my office), three cards of Ethernet ZyXEL PLA4211 500 Mbps Mini Powerline Pass-Thru and two Apple Express stations in my bedroom and a living room, where I also have Apple TV. (iMac late 2013, El Capitan utility 10.11.3, Airport 6.3.6). First thing: everything works. I should mention that I have a very strong fast Internet connection (wireless to iMac Time Capsule). Everything is green and I can always listen to my music from the computer via Apple TV. The problem with my iPad and iPhone. If I move from one region to the other, I usually get a message telling me that the device cannot connect to the server. The only way I can get it to work is to switch to a different network, then back to the regular or restart the device. Once I did, everything is OK. If the problem doesn't lie with the network. It's as if there is something needs to be restarted every time. It is an annoyance, but gets on my nerves. Any help appreciated.

    Michael

Take a look at this Apple Support article:

    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT204051

    Reset your network settings.

Settings - general - reset - reset the network settings

Reset your device. This will not erase your data stored on the phone.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

  • NB500 - drops connections

I bought my NB500 5 days ago and have had constant wifi connection problems. Repeatedly, he abandoned the connection to my Belkin N1 router, also knocking out the connection to other devices - smartphones & a digibox.

I tried the Toshiba web site and found that their tech support is farmed to Virgin Digital help. I called them, they ran a diagnostic test and then offered to solve the problem for £75 or cover all my machines for 1 year for £85.

I was not willing to pay anything to have a NEW fixed machine when it should work perfectly straight out of the box.

I hope there, can someone help me, otherwise I might have to return the machine that it is simply not worth the hassle.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi ironlung,.

It happens on the version preinstalled Windows from Toshiba or with your own Windows installation?

Have you noticed this problem in eco mode or symmetrical profile power too? Reasons could be the Setup and connection of WLAN power save get lost after a while.

It might also help if you update the WLAN driver. New version, that you can find on the official website of Toshiba:
