• Lightroom 2015 5.5 lose selection field legend when moving from image to image

  The latest version 2015 5.5 on mac, broke the ability for lightroom to have the field legend selected when moving the image to the image, to use the mouse to select again the caption field whenever I have switch from one image to another, this is not a major problem but does not slow down subtitle when have to write captions for a large number of images.

  Can it be returned to the next version?

  I'm just facing a very annoying bug.

  Please find my attached VI example, I would like to know the weather, you can confirm the bug? Run the VI if you want to see a curve (in fact the bug appears even if you put all the data on the chart, if you do, all the same) and after that try to click the cursor vertical scroll bar legend to scroll upwards or downwards to see the cursor names.

  It instantly blocks my full version of LabVIEW 2012 Edition: 12.0.1f2 (32 bit). This XYGraph is still blocking LabView... I can't continue with my project, now I will just try to work around the error, I'll try to remove the sliders and then add them again...

  In any case, a very strange and very annoying behavior...

  Anyone could repeat the same bug?

  The reason for the accident seems to be duplication of the cursor "Gas_inject." There are four times. Using the property node 'CursorList' to remove these duplicates made the VI DO NOT crash when you move the vertical scroll bar of the legend of cursor.

  To simplify:

  Read the CursorList first, remove any duplicated the table manually in the indicator (right-click on the element > data operations > Delete Element). The change to a control, change the property node to write and run the VI once.

  In your script, you are only referencing the object on page 1. If you also want to change the appearance of the object on page 3, then you need duplicate lines and specifically refer to this object.

  In addition, you can make the script a little skinny/generic fill color:

  Yes in the above link documentation there will be discussion to change labels (captions) as well as to make the field read only or hidden as well. A lot of possible combinations. Groups of metadata that are stretchy and compressible, required only, display fields with special messages required etc.

  So yes to the profiles and rules you can change dynamically legends.

  If the fields in the highest group are scattered.

  Then simply place this field in the expandable frame (say R_1) whose source is the query group letter_head.

  You can place other extensible frameworks related to the basic salary, HRA, etc inside frame R_1 and letter_head group fields can be placed one on top and one after the other frames repetitive as required.

• Problem of proxy with AnyConnect SBL

  Recently, I added the following line to our profile of .xml AnyConnect:

  IgnoreProxy

  We use a server proxy internally in our network, so when client computers have been set up for this, they could not connect to our ASA with AnyConnect when they were out of the site. The above setting in their corrected profile that, even if the proxy is enabled in their IE, they could connect with AnyConnect roaming. So far so good.

  Yesterday, I added the following to our configuration:

  TEST group policy attributes

  use a MSIE-proxy-server method

  Internet Explorer-proxy server value ip.ip.ip.ip:port

  activate Internet Explorer-proxy local-bypass

  This configuration was to ensure that the proxy of the user is enabled when connected to the VPN. According to doc Cisco proxy on the client settings automatically return to its original settings when disconnecting. This also works as expected.

  But then, here is the funny thing (which is not funny at all really):

  When to start the client computer and start-up of the AnyConnect client before logon Windows (SBL), I get the prompt attached when trying to connect! This only happens with SBL – not when the user connects and then starts the VPN client. I tried with different proxy user auth I know work, but I can't get through and therefor unable to connect before Windows logon. According to the doc of Cisco, the proxy settings should apply logon AFTER VPN - but it seems he's trying to use them BEFORE trying to connect when you use NFP.

  No one knows why this happens? And anyone can come up with a solution (except disable proxy settings just made)?

  Bad news... I checked the "fixed in" field in bugs.

  002.005 (1002) and 002.005 (2000)

  which means - it will be corrected in the new version.

  Symptom:
  
  The "IgnoreProxy" setting in the AnyConnect XML profile is not functioning when Start Before Login (SBL) is also enabled.
  
  Conditions:
  
  Problem first observed on AnyConnect 2.4.1012 when "IgnoreProxy" is set in the xml profile. Using Start Before Login feature (SBL). Using GPOs to set the proxy before login. Most noticable when the Proxy that is set is internal/private because the AnyConnect will not be able to reach the headend device to make the anyconnect connection due to the proxy being set. Confirmed the profile is active. The "IgnoreProxy" setting in the profile is working for a non-SBL connection.
  Workaround:
  
  1. This does work without SBL. For instance If you cancel SBL, logon to windows in the usual way and then start the Anyconnect client. If you then disconnect and reconnect the AnyConnect it does indeed ignore the configured proxy.
  
  2. Disable GPO settings that push the proxy before login.
  
  Note: If you are using GPO to launch scripts, be aware AnyConnect also now has a OnConnect scripting feature to launch scripts as well

  to create a UNION statement, you must use "combine with a similar request. This creates a SQL UNION statement.

  'Get the filter of another analysis' will create a subselect structure, as this SELECTION A1, A2 FROM T1 WHERE A1 IN (SELECT A1 OF T2).

  Hi, I've been using Captivate 4 for a few years and I am to evaluate v.5.5 for an upgrade, but still I am facing some problems.

  When you change text, questions and answer fields legends, I can't 'apply to all' properties general character and Format.

  In CP 4 in Properties window it was a field 'apply to all', is there an equivalent in CP 5.5? or should I do the chages slide by slide?

  The option apply to all not always worked very well, that I remember.

  CP5.5 has now object styles and style of object manager. You can set these styles for all new projects, if you open the Manager before opening a file, or set up in a project file.

  If you want to change all the legends after creating them in the default caption Style, change the style of a legend to your wishes, a + sign will appear next to default caption Style in the PI (see screenshot, highlighted in yellow). Then use the button with the floppy disk (highlighted in green) to record what the default style and all the legends that had the default caption Style automatically gets the same formatting.

  

  Some accordions in the PI have a small arrow curve upper right, which can be used to only apply aspect to all objects with the same style or same type, similar to the functionality that you spoke of CP4, but now it still doesn't work

• Getting LR to recognize the news given IPTC?

  After shooting a large race this weekend for which I need to add numbers of runners to my photos, I've added the Photo Mechanic to programming. I also shot the JPEGs instead of raw for the sake of space. I imported the photos in LR, them organized by keyword and they renamed to LR. Then I find images JPEG in Photo Mechanic and used the field legend for bib numbers.

  When I got back to LR, the caption fields were all still empty, so I thought that I had to somehow LR aware that there are new data in there. The method I chose was metadata > reading of the metadata file. I would never have to do again for two reasons. The first is that it took five hours to update metadata about pictures of 1920 and I have another 8000 or so still to go. The second is that in addition to adding the data to the legend, he wiped out the changes I had made to the photos. Specifically, cropping, and Keywords.

  My question, finally: is there a way to tell LR simply look for new metadata and add it, without wiping stuff that's already there? And I hope that something that will take a whole day to finish?

  Short answer: no: now he's way to Merge the metadata in a conflict, but I think that you can avoid this problem by ensuring that you save your Lightroom metadata changes in your files before making changes more in photomechanical.

  Have you noticed if the key words that you added first in Lightroom appeared in photomechanical while you add captions? The corollary to metadata > read metadata from file command you used after your photomechanical changes corresponds to metadata > save metadata to file option. Have you used this command before making the changes in Photo Mechanic? The keyboard shortcut for save the metadata in the file is command + S (or CTRL + S in Windows).

  Note that for JPEG, TIFF and PSD files (and by default for the DNG), metadata are written inside files and not in the sidecar files. Documentation should probably be updated to clarify.

  If you want metadata to back and forth between Lightroom and photomechanical (or bridge and practically all other apps besides), you must use the canonical container for your metadata file. By default, Lightroom saves the metadata changes that make you only database of your catalog until you tell him to write these changes to your files. There are a few things you can do to make this a little easier workflow type.

  1. in the settings of the catalogue Lr choose "Automatically write changes into XMP" in the metadata catalog options section. This tells Lightroom to update the metadata in the files automatically when you make changes such as adding words keys, cropping, rating, etc.

  2. in the library view Options (view > View Options... menu item or command + J), turn on the cell icons "unsaved metadata".   3. understand the other status icons of the metadata that may appear in the cell.   Finally, the warning icon. This icon will appear if you change the metadata in the file with photomechanical but forgot to save your changes to Lightroom in the first file.

  

  You are right that it is impossible to Merge the two conflicting sets of metadata: what is in the file now instead of Lightroom last known to the State of the metadata until you do the photomechanical mounting. Must choose the one that you want.

  If you follow the workflow to save changes to Lightroom for file, then the photomechanical changes, and then read the changes back into Lightroom, I don't think that you will lose the changes in Lightroom. Make sure you do not see the icon of unregistered in Lr metadata before going to the photomechanical, make sure you see the photomechanical Lightroom evolution and look for the warning icons when you return to Lightroom. If you follow the workflow I suggested and still loose metadata, let us know.

  Finally - why did you choose to enter captions in photomechanical instead of just into Lightroom? I'm curious. Have you tried the option to display metadata 'Great legend', it could bring faster captions for you into Lightroom.

  Pass the field "legend of the window" properties of the window. It is set by deafult when a project is created but is not changed if you rename.

• Graph legend silver color problem (Bug?)

  I can't seem to find a way back to the original color of the chart legend money once I have it painted a different color (Figure 2 below, painted 'System'):

  

  I used the for the main body color picker and the original legend of the chart (they are the same, apparently), but when I use this color choice, no question when I apply it (corner, Center, etc.), I get the weird result shown in Figure 3). What gives?

  To establish a chart with this problem, you can use the control editor. By choosing 'Customize' mode, you can select the text of the plot and choose Edition > control to customize to open in another editor to control where you can color.

• a bug with the structure that contains bit fields?

  using CVI 8.5. I tried to set up a structure that contains bit fields. Although the structure compiles, I encounter strange behavior when you access individual fields, while the value of the overall structure seems ok. Here is the structure:
