  I'm developing an application that requires code signing. The application would serve only on my device and nowhere else.

  I wanted to know if I could get a signing key, i.e. unique access. not massive key free of charge, just for development and deployment.

  Nokia already provides free certificates for the development of general use. Here are some details and a link that best describes.

  Depending on the features used in an S60 application, there are different ways to sign a request:

  1. Possibility of user: used in an application compatibility are granted during the installation and the application UID should in the unprotected range (0x80000000-0xFFFFFFFF). A developer can use SignSis command to sign a .sis file. Please note that the application can only use: LocalServices, ReadUserData, WriteUserData, NetworkServices, UserEnvironment (S60 3rd Edition FP2, a developer can also use location capability).
  2. Open signed without the Publisher ID: the user must register and sign in to www.symbiansigned.com to download .sis application file. After having successfully downloaded, a developer can get immediately the application signed by the Web site, and the developer can download it from the Web site. This is to test the goal and the signed application can be installed on a mobile device. At the signing, a developer must provide email address valid as well as the number of IMEI (serial number of the phone) device. The signed application is installable within 36 months, and this method is for development purposes.
  3. Open signed with the Publisher ID: a developer must buy a first of TC TrustCenterPublisher ID. For Chinese developers, a developer can go to WoSign for the purchase of a Publisher ID. With the Publisher ID, a developer can request a certificate of developer of the www.symbiansigned.com. Using the certificate, a developer can sign with SignSis command .sis file. This is to test the goal and the certificate is limited by the number of IMEI listed in the certificate (maximum 1000 IMEI numbers to date). This certificate is valid for 36 months, and this method is for development purposes.
  4. Express signed: a developer must have an ID of the Publisher first. The developer has go to www.symbiansigned.com website to connect, and pay 20 USD for such a signature by an application. After you have downloaded the files needed on the site. Immediately, the developer can get the application signed by the Web site, and the developer can download it from the Web site. The signed application is for commercial sales.
  5. Certified signed: a developer must have an ID of the Publisher first. After an application has been fully tested using the Open signed or self-signed method (the request must have a UID between 0x00000000-0x7FFFFFFF), the developer can send the request to one of the 3 named test houses world for detailed testing and little money has to be paid for such a test, although the price may vary a House to another test. After that the application has passed Symbian test criteria, the application may be signed for commercial use.
  6. Symbian signed for Nokia: one of the necessary applications for the pre-installation must pass from the Nokia test criteria, and a developer has to pay for such a test. It has more standards than signed certified, and it should be conducted by 3 named test houses in the world. Detailed information can be found at: www.symbiansigned.com. For developers, who need to use the capabilities of the manufacturer, the developer must present a valid reason to justify the objective of using the features. Once the application has been approved, the developer can use Open signed with the Publisher ID to obtain the certificate required for testing and development. This method is for commercial use

  I want to install the debugging token to BB10 (BlackBerry Q5). When I install using blackberry-debugtokenrequest, it displays error: BBID token has expired. I have signature request new key by using this link: https://www.blackberry.com/SignedKeys/codesigning.html and have successfully install save the RDK and COMINCO. But, when I install it using blackberry-debugtokenrequest, it's always the same error, BBID token has expired.

  Follow the first link on the page that you linked.  Which will allow you to create a new BlackBerry ID token.  Make sure that you connect using the same account to BlackBerry ID used to create your token of origin.

  The RDK/COMINCO the previous way of signing method and will be ignored if a BlackBerry ID token is present (which explains why he always uses your token expired).

  There are two different points here, you can take. One way is to define a starting value that works on a per signature each field and the other is to make a change in the registry, which works on a general basis. Then, edit the value and click on the right side of the dialog box and add the same string of plain text above for use with the starting value. Please see the attachment (click on the link below to open the image, then click the black X to close) screenshot. One important thing to note here, that is the string must be NULL terminated. After that you have plain text string type in the right side of the dialog box, click on in the end on the hexadecimal string on the left side and type a zero. You will notice that it adds what appears to be a point at the end of the string of text to the right, but is not really a point.

  I get an Exception system and the error code is 3 which is ILLEGAL_TRANSIENT. I pass data between two cmdlets using the APDU buffer. The 1st applet is the applet currently selected, which transmits the data to the applet 2nd to perform cryptographic operations. Encrypt/decrypt and sign all work well using init() & doFinal() when the data is small enough to be transformed into a go. The problem is when I try to use update() for larger data, I get the error ILLEGAL_TRANSIENT (I get this for a signing operation, but guess I'll get the same thing to encrypt/decrypt as well)
  
  The JCRE (section 6.1.5 of the 2.2.1 version) specification explains this error as an attempt to access a transitional type CLEAR_ON_DESELECT object when the current context is not the context of the currently selected applet. The APDU buffer comes from the applet 1, which is the applet currently selected, so I think that's why I see this error. However, it does not make sense to me that I am able to do all calls except the update using the APDU buffer - clearly the update call tries to use the buffer passed to somehow illegal - but that shouldn't be my problem, I thought I'd...

• Preferred method to blur registration plates, signs, faces, etc.

  OK, it's maybe a newbie question - I have just never had to do before so I don't really know the best way to do it. What is the best way to blur the faces, signs, plates registration, etc.? I tried to use the Titler to create a shape that I put above the sign in question and applied a blur to the shape - the problem I am running against is just one) it is difficult to get the shape to follow correctly with the sign that my camera movements (which just once - everything else is almost stationary) and b) I can't do a 'transparent' form that will always have the effect of blurring applied - taking the transparency of 0 has also removed the blur effect.

  I'm guessing this will be a fixed AE, I would avoid if I can, but I'm willing to go this route if this is really the best way to do it.

  On you can do this easily in AE, but you'll be surprised what you can do in the first.

  You can make the shape with the Pentool in the Titler.

  Do the pure white shape and filled with Bézier and use as a matte.

  Set images on track 1 and copy/paste to track 2.

  Set the matte on track 3.

  Add Matt effect track to track 2 and set it on track 3.

  Add a blur or mosaic to track 2 images and blur effect outside.

  Set a keyframe position for channel 2 on 1 and the last frame.

  For between them the two you set keyframes, move the matte over time to cover, in this case, the face in the window of the program.

  I'm setting up an iOS app.  I need to use the APNS.  The application is implemented at Apple and works, but I am unable to test Push Notifications because I am unable to get a token device.  From my understanding deliverance RemoteNotifier.subscribe should RemoteNotificationEvent.TOKEN to fire.  This never happens.  The code is below.  None of the RemoteNotifier fires.

  Hello. It is a long-standing problem which you have just met. You may be able to add the code to your password. If this does not work, you need to sign in to your Apple ID in a browser and disable two-stage when you complete the connection. Depending on whether you use validation in 2 steps (4 digits) or 2-factor authentication (6 digits), you can find help here the frequently asked questions about check in two steps for Apple ID - Apple Support or here two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support. Both methods appear to be similar, but are implemented differently, adding to the complication.

  It works, but there are some caveats:

  • Firefox may disable the use of SimplePass anytime the permenantly
  • Use the most recent series 8 HP SimplePass
