Dual monitor support for desktop HP Pavilion p6210y PC

I would add an additional monitor to my HP Pavilion p6210y.  According to the data sheet of the product HP, the M2N78 - motherboard comes with 300W power supply which currently comes with:

* Built-in video is not available if a graphics card is installed.

    Hello @shamrock838,

I understand that your desktop HP Pavilion 500 - c60 PC does not support the biggest Compact Flash Memory Card and you are curious as to whether or not you can install an USB multicard Reader which accepts the memory card see First of all, you have reason 7 - in1 media card reader did it installed does not supported CF memory card, but it supports the following cards:

    • Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC)
    • SDXC

    @sooperglew

Only using three DIMMs will force the PC to run in single channel mode.

Your first consideration should be Support HP or HP sales during the consideration of upgrades or replacement of memory. If you want to consider other manufacturers of the best way to avoid memory problems is to contact one of the leading manufacturers of memory. I would recommend that you try the tools of these manufacturers: Corsair, Kingston andCrucial. Once you have determined the DIMMs that you need, then contact commercial or technical support to check that you have selected the correct DIMMS. If you buy directly from manufacturers, then they will stand behind their products.

  • What is the maximum RAM for each location dimm can support for desktop computers Compaq Presario CQ3541L?

I have a 32-bit ubuntu 12.04 OS installed on Compaq Presario CQ3541L desktop PC. Now, I want to update higher along 64-bit ubuntu 12.04 OS memory RAM. I want to know what is the maximum size of the main memory that each DIMM DDR3 slot can support. I need at least 8 GB of RAM since the apps I run will consume as much as 6.5 GB and probably more.

    Thank you.

Yes, that's the conclusion I came to.  You can always try to see what is actually happening.  I had a different motherboard (again a HP) which had similar limitations except his max was total 2 GB, and he saw 4 GB very well.   They make a slightly different version of this Board with 4 memory locations, instead of both yours has, then who knows until you experimant.

I wanted to update my current graphics card which is a NVIDIA GeForce GT 620, the motherboard is a H-Joshua-H61-Μatx. I recently bought an EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti Superclock. I uninstalled the old drivers went out of the old card, added a new and when I started my PC I would receive 3 beeps and a black screen. I did some research and found out that this may be due to the BIOS. There is no upgrade BIOS, I can find, and my BIOS are FRIEND 7.11, 28/04/2012. I have a list or a compatible graphics cards recommendation so I mustn't keep purchase and installation of these devices, or if there is a new update of the BIOS.

  • The upgrade of the video for my desktop HP Pavilion Elite HPE-210y PC

Yes, I have two questions about my PC.

First, on the technical card for desktop HP Pavilion Elite HPE-210y PC, it shows a power 300 watt yet looking at the minimum requirments for the video card from the factory it require a 400 Watt power supply and the fact of the data sheet does not show the power suppy manufacturer he was wondering has.

Second, I'm looking to upgrade the video card and I was wondering what the card would be a good replacement for a game without having to replace the power supply but if I have to adapt what power? (With a ceiling of $ 200 - $350 on power supply)

Yes, the power is 300 watts. Minimum 400 watts are for full power to retail graphics cards. The map provided by HP was custom designed to meet the requirements of power weaker and is is not the same as a retail card. HP has traditionally used Bestec and Lite-on original UPE.

To install a gaming grade graphics card, you will need to replace your power supply. The Corsair CX500 and CX600 are highly recommend and forum favorite. Further, these power supplies are only slightly larger than a block of power SUPPLY HP stock and are known to adapt. Power supply Idleness will put you back on the $50 - $75. • Supported Windows Server 2012 r2-dual monitor

    Hi all

I'm trying to become more proficient with Windows Server OS.  I installed Windows Server 2012 r2 on an older laptop (HP ProBook 6565-b) of the mine because the base OS (not remote communication in).  I'm wanting to add a second monitor to this machine, for either extending display, or simply duplicate, if I close the lid-if I can use my screen a lot nicer, bigger than what is connected to the laptop.

I read through all the posts on double monitor support for Windows server, but have had no luck so far with suggestions that I have ad (updated & reinstall the drivers, etc..).  I also had a cheap USB to VGA external video card (Startech.com) I tried to use... no luck.  Before I installed Windows Server 2012, I got this working environment in Windows 7 and 10 on this laptop, so I think the graphics card is supported?  I wonder if this is even possible or if I'm wasting my time?

Any idea on how I can make this work would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

  • DUAL MONITOR HELP!

    System information:

    • HP P6210Y
    • Win 7
    • NVIDIA GeForce 9100

Above is my information system. I use a HP P6210Y with a GeForce 9100 graphics card. I have two [2] IN2030M of Dell monitors. I bought a VGA splitter and it worked, but now how I wanted it to work. Then I bought a DVI - D to VGA and DVI decision-making doesn't seem to work. VGA monitor works. DVI doesn't. It's just a black screen I receive. Both monitors work perfectly. Any idea what I can do to get two monitors going? I'm new on this and I find myself losing more money trying things my way. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion p6210y. According to the specifications, this model has integrated nVidia GeForce 9100 chipset graphics that support a (analog) VGA output and DVI - D (digital only). There is no way to make an adapter DVI / VGA passive work. These adapters work with the DVI - A and DVI - I outputs. Should be an active DVI - D to VGA Converter convert the digital signal into an analog.

    The technical specifications for your Dell IN2030M monitor flat screen 20 inch indicate that they support the two DVI - D and VGA inputs. To solve your problem, you will need to purchase a DVI - D cable and connect as follows;

    Computer > DVI - D cable > monitor #1

    Computer > VGA cable > Monitor #2

    Hello

The AMD 5450 in PC graphics card will support multiple monitors (VGA, HDMI and DVI).  The 5450 also supports AMD EyeFinity which allows bear monitors of odd size (different resolutions).

You will get best results by using digital connections to the monitors.  It would be DVI HDMI for w2207 HP and Viewsonic.

If you have specific questions about AMD EyeFinity, please consult the ATI/AMD forums.

Good luck and thanks for posting on the HP Forum.

  • I'm looking for a dual monitor graphics card for my HP Pavilion a6744uk

Can someone suggest a price chart card reasonable double screen for my HP Pavilion a6744uk? either double VGA or vga and dvi (as I have a vga to DVI)

    Thank you very much

Here are the specifications of your HP Pavilion a6744uk desktop computer. According to specifications, your system has one slot PCIe x 16 open for a graphics card and a 300 Watt power supply. This Palit GeForce GT 520 of Amazon.co.uk seems to meet your needs. When we look at cards to ensure they do no more than 8 or 9 inches and require a system assessment of 300 watts or less.

  • Graphics card dual monitor will fit in an HP Pavilion Slimline s3600z

I need to run two monitors to my HP Pavilion Slimline s3600z.

My OS is Windows Vista 64 bit.

I'm not a gamer; I teach in virtual classes and need to spread out the screen on two monitors.

My graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 9300 GE.

The card offers the ability to set multiple views, so I bought a splitter.

Unfortunately, this does solve the problem.

I bought a low profile with two connections graphics card, but it was too big for the case.

Is there a card dual monitor low profile that fits the business slimline?

Here are the specifications of your HP CTO Slimline s3600z desktop. According to specifications, your computer has a power of 160 watts. This power supply is unlikely to fuel a retail graphics card. The simplest method to use two screens with your computer is probably a adapter USB-to-video EVGA + 19.
