Graphics card dual monitor will fit in an HP Pavilion Slimline s3600z

I need to run two monitors to my HP Pavilion Slimline s3600z.

My OS is Windows Vista 64 bit.

I'm not a gamer; I teach in virtual classes and need to spread out the screen on two monitors.

My graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 9300 GE.

The card offers the ability to set multiple views, so I bought a splitter.

Unfortunately, this does solve the problem.

I bought a low profile with two connections graphics card, but it was too big for the case.

Is there a card dual monitor low profile that fits the business slimline?

Here are the specifications of your HP CTO Slimline s3600z desktop. According to specifications, your computer has a power of 160 watts. This power supply is unlikely to fuel a retail graphics card. The simplest method to use two screens with your computer is probably a adapter USB-to-video EVGA + 19.

    Hello:

If you only run XP and don't have no plan to upgrade to Windows Vista or Windows 7 and just VGA (not DVI) output, this PCI video card should work for you, and your machine has only PCI slots.

    http://www.eBay.com/ITM/PNY-nvidia-fx5200-Dual-VGA-DDR-256MB-video-card-PCI-/160704820819?PT=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&hash=item256ac0f653

You will need to read the installation manual on the support page and the driver of your PC because I believe that you need to change a setting in the BIOS to the PCI card to the video card main.

Or you can search for a similar PCI card with a DMS-59 output with video split cable that goes to two monitors.

  • I can't find a compatible Nvidia graphics card and monitor system of the body/Neo3D 3D

Adobe first Pro CS5.5 / specification tecniques (http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere/tech-specs.html) lists the graphics cards that can be used to accelerate video editing.  I want to set up a system similar to what Dave Helmly is described (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aqi_qivG82c) with a computer 3D monitor and 3D TV secondary screen.  However, the 3D monitors that I saw as an Asus (http://usa.asus.com/Display/LCD_Monitors/VG236H/#overview) indicate graphics cards Nvidia that no overlap with those specified on the website of the organization.  Also, I found no towers locally that come with an appropriate Nvidia card.  I found some that have a free PCIe slot.  I need two cards in any case; However, the graphics card that comes with some of these machines specifies a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600.

    Here are my questions:
    (1) what Nvidia graphics cards are both supported by the Organization and support of 3D monitors?  I'm looking on the bad feedback?  The Alienware site does not specify which graphics cards are compatible.
    (2) if the integrated video card has a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600, does mean that if I want resolution 1920 x 1080 for each of the two eyes I need format (output HDMI to 3D TV) alternate-frame sequencing?

I have not bought equipment yet, I am looking for options that work.  Thanks for your help.

Hi Dennis, you need one of the Quadro graphics cards to do what you want (use the Nvidia 3D output). GTX cards will be released to a secondary 3D display, but only side by side and more to the title. I have a GTX 480 which I use with the body and Neo, main monitor is 2560 x 1600 (non - 3D), my secondary monitor is a Sony 32 "3D TV on which I discovered 3D since the timeline and FirstLight mode side by side. To be honest, I change and cut in 2d mode and really only use the monitor 3d for the color calibration (which is different for 3D 2D because of the need to reduce areas of contrast high which cause ghost images) and for the z depth of positioning for the composition and titles.

  • A 760 GTX video card will fit in a Hp Pavilion p7-1534

    Hi all

I was wondering if a GTX 760 video card fit in a Hp Pavilion p7-1534, if I upgrade the power of 750w? Thank you!

    Ardin, welcome to the forum.

I have gone through two different brands of GTX 760.  One of them, ASUS, was 8.6 "in length.  The other, EVGA, was 9.5 "in length.  I suggest to take a piece of cardboard and make a template of the EVGA to see if it would fit.  It does not list an additional power connector, but I would like to add 1 "in length.  Personally, I like the cards XFX, EVGA, Sapphire and PNY in that order.

You can easily get with a 600W at 650W power supply.  I love OCZ and Corsair.  They are passionate about quality with reasonalbe price.

  • I was wondering if I could replace/update the graphics card and processor of my 15 t-n200 Pavilion.

I have a HP Pavilion 15 t-n200 and I would like to know if I could spend my CPU and graphics cards.

    The specifications are:

    1.6 GHz to 2.3 Ghz i5-4200u

    8 GB of DDR3 RAm/memory

    64-bit operating system

    Windows 8.1 (standard)

    Intel(r) HD Graphics Family

If someone could help me figure out if I can pass either of these, and what I could get, it would be great.

On models with the 'u' processor, the processor is soldered to the motherboard as is the video chip. If the only possible upgrade would be to replace the card mother whiole. The price of replacement motherboards exceeds the initial cost of the laptop.

  • new nvidia graphics card and monitor driver choice?

Given that I added 8 GB memory for my win 7 64 bit clean install on my m9040n HP Pavillion that uses a card Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS fly a HP w2408h monitor... and discovered that card has the lowest windows experience index side (processor 7.1; memory 7.1; Chart 3.5; graphics games 5.3; & main hard drive 5.8)... what card Nvidia will work in my system and give me a better score... plus drivers for my other than the win7 genefric monitor drivers... anyone?

    Hi barcode,

Your screen has a native resolution of 1920 * 1200, so you should be able to get that out of your system.  If it's just appearing as a generic monitor in Device Manager, then I would say running updates of windows, where it should identify the monitor and download the correct definitions for it.  (Note that I didn't say 'pilot').

In addition, you will be able to squeak on another point or two in the experience of the user, if you download the latest drivers from the NVIDIA site video card here. (because it was not listed on the support page from hp.com for your model of Windows 7 drivers).

    Hi there @LeoOfMars

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! It's a good place to find the help you need, so many other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff. I understand that you are looking to find out if a video card is compatible with your information system. I'm happy to help you with that.

The main reasons to be sure of are normally feeding you, special (to THE) cable power supply for the graphics card, on the motherboard compatible expansion slot, the drivers for your operating system, another thing to know is the physical size of the map, for moments of cases.

Looking at the specs of your system and the motherboard by default, I listed the type of slot of power and expansion.

HP Pavilion Elite e9180t Desktop PC product specifications and configurable Options

Output power of power: 460 Watt

HP and Compaq desktop PC - specifications of the motherboard, IPMTB-TK (Truckee)

Two graphics PCI Express 2.0 x 16 (for graphics cards)

Go to the video card you are looking at:

    GTX 780 3072 MB GDDR5 PCI-E 3.0 OC Custom cooled graphics card

    Input power: 1 x 8-pin auxiliary input aux input 1 x 6-pin
    Bus type: PCI-Express 3.0 16 x

    System requirements:
Mother compatible PCI Express with a slot of chart double-width x 16
Power 600W minimum (with a minimum of 12V current rating of 42A) 3
300 MB of available disk space
2 GB of memory system (4 GB or more recommended)
Microsoft Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP Operating System (32 or 64-bit)
DVD-ROM drive or Internet connection for installation
DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort or VGA compatible monitor

So on a quick inspection of both devices there are three problems, so this card will not work on your motherboard or with the current power.

    I hope this helps.

  • Need a new graphics card

The graphics card on my HP e9200z aw017 is fried because the fan stopped woking.  The graphics card is a Radeon 4650 4.

This graphic cards sell HP which is compatible with this machine and my monitor does high definition?

    I suggest remove all your old graphics card cover plate will allow you to continue to use it. What I suggest is to remove the cover of the card (onboard) graphics on board port will allow you to continue to use the computer without graphics card installed. Please refer to the 3 and 13 below;

1 - two 1.2 USB 1.1 for mouse and keyboard ports

    2 - S/PDIF optical audio port

3 - port video graphics card

    4 - 1394 (FireWire)

    5 RJ45 Network (LAN)

    6. audio: Speaker of Center/Subwoofer out

    7. audio: rear speaker output

    8. audio: line

    9. audio: before line/speaker output

    10. audio: Microphone

    11. audio: output speaker side

    12 USB 2.0: 4

    13 - DVI - D port

To continue using your computer while you wait for the replacement of the discreet graphics card, remove the existing card from the PCIe x 16 internal slot and remove the black plastic plate external (VGA or DVI) that says: "do not remove" the video ports shipped. Now, plug your monitor into one of these ports. Arrival of the new card, install it, and replace the plate to prevent you from the monitor on the wrong port.

  • Question graphics card

    Hello all;

I have a HP Slimline 3600t I bought last year. I checked after my video and graphic has been slow real my card 256 MB GeForce 9300 GE fan was unusable. I don't know how long it has been, but I also noticed how the material was hot when I opened the file. I went to put a small house until the hardrive fan until I can get a new card that made the PC now works like a charm! My question is, I checked the part number for this graphics card, but there will be no problem if I switch to the GeForce 9500 with 512 MB card? This part also shows like that can be included with the model 3600t, but I wanted to be sure that I have not put anything else if I made this purchase.

    Thank you-

    Hello

You should be fine with the GeForce 9500GS but probably not with the 9500GT Geforce that requires more power.  Your Power Supply Unit is rated 180W which will restrict graphics cards, you can choose.

    Best wishes

  • HP Pavilion P6-2065UK graphics card problems

    Hello

Have HP Pavilion P6-2065UK, with 8 GB of Ram and have installed the new power supply Corsair CX430 Watt.

When I install the new graphics card Nvidia Geforce GT 630, blank screen appears, you can hear Windows 7 startup screen open, but not the current view.

I spent in mode Bios to confirm the x 16 slot is enabled and that sometimes the PCI Express card is shown. I tried enabling and disabling onboard video in Bios, no joy. Cannot go to Safe Mode.

I also tried to use Google Remote Desktop connect the HP device to another PC so that I can try and see office, but as soon as you turn off the power, the unique necessary 12-digit PIN is reset to zero and I lose the connection.

I am still able to use the onboard video of origin but not the Nvidia card.

Been going on for a while now.

Any help with this would be really appreciated.

    Thank you.

  • Equium A60-155: ATi Mobility graphics card problem

    Hello

I have a laptop Equium A60, recently I am getting error informing messages than the "display driver ATi2mtag has stopped working properly.
I have reset my machine as told to do the error dialog box. Reset works fine, but the laptop crashes to the desktop, when turned off and on again once I get the Safe Mode screen.

I reinstalled the driver for the graphics card several times, and the error persists through safe mode. The returned error and trying to open in safe mode, the machine flashed a blue screen of death, too fast for me to read, even applied for each of the available options. I was unable to cross this safe mode selection screen.

As a last resort that I reformatted my laptop, using the Toshiba CD recover but the error persists, with regular driver display and the actual machine crashed.

Since the reformat, I reinstalled the display drivers, and the problem persists.

I downloaded the drivers from this site and the problem is still there

You know a possible fix or solution to this problem? I am a competent enough and user of computer knowledge, so do not be afraid of getting technical in your response.

    Thank you

    Hello

This problem occur immediately after the operating system starts or after several usage time?
If this issue occurs after a several time of use, so it could be an overheating problem.
In this case, you should check the cooling modules. Check if the fans are working properly.
Try to clean it with the vacuum cleaner.

If this doesn t solve the problem if you maybe there is something wrong with the graphics card and you will need to contact Toshiba service for assistance.

  • H8 - 1240t update graphic card problems

Before you start this is what I have:

    H8 - 1240t Desktop

    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

    Intel Core i7 - 2600 k

    16GBs ram

The computer came with an AMD Radeon HD 7570 1 GB DDR3 graphics card which I have been recently trying to improve my dream of an EVGA Geforce GTX 780 / 3 gb GDDR5 SC ACX. I already upgraded my PSU from a 300w to a 750w power to manage the new graphics card. During the installation of this new graphics card the computer will start show him Press esc for boot menu screen and after a while, it will go to a black screen with a cursor. I put in the disk of driver installation accompanying the GTX 780 from the start. Now, I looked online and saw a lot of people who update their bios but I couldn't find really any help for a motherboard very FRIEND 7.09 Pegatron 2ad5. And the actual task of updating a bios seems daunting. Attracted me here to see if it was something I had to do or if there is something else I could try or should I give up on my dream to get the GTX 780 to work in my config. Thanks in advance to one that meets. =)

    Hello

Most of the 7xx manufactured NVIDIA video cards are active UEFI and your PC does not have the right level of BIOS.  Your PC needs to have a BIOS version 8 level.  If the BIOS of your PCs supported the UEFI mode and secure boot you have a different problem.

Looking for a different graphics card that requires no UEFI BIOS. You may be able to locate a Sapphire AMD graphics card that will work and be near the same level of performance. Glance at the series Sapphire R9which are not marked UEFI.

The 780 NVIDIA or any graphics card close in performance will eventually be GPU bound.  This means that the graphics card will not reach its full potential of your PC with the design of the processor and motherboard.

  • Is satellite A10 - possible to install the new graphics card?

    Hello

I have a videocard Satelite A10, 2.2 Ghz, 712 MB of RAM, provided with your computer.

I just bought the Sims 2 and thought from the specifications that I would be able to play on my current card. However when I try to run it it gets to the intro screen and then hangs when it is ready to go into the Menu. My first impressions are that I don't have a pretty good graphics card.

I need a 32 MB T & L capable card so can someone confirm if this is why it would not work on the system.

If that's the case I'm looking to see if it is possible to install a new graphics card on the machine I want to play more games to date.

the map I'm looking at is Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600 XT 256 MB AGP8X graphics card. It will work on the machine and it is likely to solve my problem?

    Thank you

    HI Jeff,

In General, it is not possible to change the graphics card in your laptop. This is because the graphics cell are generally not a component separated (as with a normal PC), but generally a specific graphic chip attached to the motherboard so make the graphics a part of the laptop.

At the same time, the graphics driver is normally a specially modified version will omit some of the more esoteric aspects of the normal driver to minimize the risk of overheating chip since it does not have its own cooling system. Given this, you will find probably than trying to load the latest graphic website manufacturers drivers (Nvidia, ATI, etc.) will not work, and you will therefore be limited to these pilots provided by Toshiba on their Web site.

In order to get your copy of the SIMS 2 to run you need to omit or reduce some of the graphics settings in the game itself, or alternatively, you can try to use some of the graphics third-party drivers that are written to provide some of the omitted features of the original notebook drivers. Note that if you do that there is no guarantee that they won't cause your overheating graphics chip, even if I used the ATI Omega drivers for some time now without any problems. You can get them: -.
