• May duplicate Applications files are causing problems?

  In the Finder, if I choose my device, Macintosh HD and then choose Applications, I find another folder of Applications with an arrow in the lower left corner listed which, when selected, opens a duplicate of the previous Applications folder.  If I choose then this force of Finder Applications folder closes unexpectedly.  This doesn't seem fair.

  My computer works fine with the exception of my banking (Banktivity 5) program. I had several copies of this in several cases of nominations, and I wonder if these multiple application folders might be the cause of my problem with Banktivity.  I upgraded to El Capitan 10.11.4.

  An arrow in the corner means generally that it is an 'alias' - a pointer back to another folder. Therefore a pointer inside a folder that points to its enclosing folder. Understandbly, the Finder can get into a State of such recursive links.

  You should be able to delete the alias without any problem. But you'll have a backup in all cases, of course!

• UCCX - Duplicate Application in the management of applications

  I just updated a script and saved to the repository with a different name, updating the application within the application management, I got a database error message (not noted it down) the application appears twice on the node of the Publisher (only once at the Subscriber) and now I can't access one of them with the following error;

  The only way now to delete this is to access to the root of your server UCCX. Only the TAC can help in this area, there is no other workaround solution unfortunately.

  My product "Royal Solitare" has just been denied in BlackBerry World for the fourth time. This time, the testers noted that it is a duplicate application.

  How am I supposed to submit properly the BlackBerry App world to finally get approved? I really think it should be accepted as-is.

  I'm a little nervous now, but I understand that I made a few mistakes and testers can also. Help, please.

  Sorry for the delay in my response. The reason for the initial refusal is that while control team, agrees with the same name that the Moose "Royal Solitaire", the portal would not have allowed you to post it for sale anyway.

• Stray WiFi by default, when you use the Fn + F3 WiFi on request (AODD270)

  The netbook (Win 7 starter) allows the WiFi feature on every start upward.  To save energy, how can it be turned off?

  I mean, it is, is there a way to remove the default WiFi and turn on only when I need, via the Fn + F3 command.  I don't want to have to turn off after starting upwards, it must be turned off by default.

  I looked through the BIOS and other parameters, but found nothing.  I tried net looking for a solution, but nothing helped.  I guess I could turn it off the network device, but it's just an approach long drawn to something that should be simple enough.

  The Fn key commands are accessible via a script .bat by chance.  He has a work around, but I could turn off the WiFi and also the pavement at startup automatically, by adding a .bat script to the registry to run at startup.

  I will summarize the issues here:

  We ship systems with everything by default.  It is the presumed position that our customers prefer to have all the material available and functional when the system starts.  If the system devices are off at the start, he won't see the device until it is powered, causing other possible problems with the feature.

  1. & 2. We do not recommend or provide a way to disable these devices by default.

  3. we do not ease for the capabilities requested by the programmatic use of the Fn keys.

  You will notice that if you disable the touchpad or the NIC wireless with Fn keys, it does NOT get disabled in Device Manager.  It is part of the overall design of the system.  It is not part of Windows or in the Windows registry.

  You can make sure the system is running the power system and power all the saving options are checked for devices you want to be turned off by power controls.

  Other than that, a quick tap of the Fn + F3 or Fn + F7 to disable wireless / touchpad as needed.

  You can manually edit the plist, or simply remove to rebuild the entire list:

  If you have duplicate in the Album images, update the version of the Album to 6.2.A.0.22 or later.

  Update Album

  1. On your home screen, tap the icon of the application screen.
  2. Find and tap the Center of update > updates to view the updates available for your device.
     Note! Software updates are released at different times depending on operator and your country.
  3. If it is available, press Album and follow the instructions.
  4. Restart the device and duplicate images / thumbnails should disappear.

  To display the version of the Album

  1. On your home screen, tap the icon of the application screen.
  2. Find and tap settings > applications > all > Album.

  I don't know if this is the right place for this question. After the upgrade to Windows 7 from Windows Vista, I had a lot more on my computer that I did before. I did an inventory of what's on my computer and found copies of almost everything I had 2-3. Is my only recourse now go through all the files, folders and applications and delete the extras?   On my iMac, the last OS X El Capitan.

  For an example, so I mediainfo application on the app store and it works fine, no problem.

  What happens if I go to a video rile, do a right-click, open with... There mediainfo twice, optionally including a version and the other a newer version if instead of upgrading to the new version of its kept the two versions?

  So I look under 'Applications' and that is only once not twice.

  I click and hold the icon for mediainfo in launchpad, it wiggles, I press x to delete it form party launchpad and its applications in the finder.

  But there must be somewhere because he is always right click on the menu 'Open with' and it actually load the program if you choose somehow even if it isn't the disk hard mac! ?.

  I did a search and don't see you mediainfo application anywhere on the disc hard mac.

  I have a copy of super duper of my HDD on an external hard drive that probably the application it but can it really be getting the external application and adding it to "open with" menu and launch the application from the external hard drive? If yes then this is not cool...

  I also noticed right on a PDF right-click, open with Watch 2 entrances of Safari 2 on iBooks, google chrome 2, all are an old version and one is a more recent version, where could he be getting from and the addition in the menu "open with?"

  If it is picking up my applications folder on the external drive backup and using that in the open with menu and launch the application from the external backup then it is really bad, it should only be launched from applications to disk hard mac shouldn't it?
