  The application Sever on one of my computers has several duplicate entries in the initial screen "choose a Mac" that appears just after the launch of the application server where you choose the particular Mac which you want to connect.

  My server is in the local IP 10.0.0.5, but there are two entries for it in the list for a reason any, as you can see here:

  

  I can choose is entered to connect without a problem. They seem to be legitimate duplicates. So I would like to remove one of them.

  My HTC Desire X can use HTC Sync Manager, but I have tried both and neither of them is very useful software.  Two of them, for example, to synchronize favorites of IE in a simple list in a single folder [that is, they lose the folder structure that you can use in favorites of IE in order to manage the potentially large number of items you have in there].

  Note: I developed for earlier versions of VeriStand, a high-level application that manages projects of test benches and their versions. I want to update with the new manager of the user VeriStand interface.

  It is not a .NET API to control UI Manager, but there are some command line utilities, you can use to launch the user interface Manager, open a specific project, specify the IP address of the gateway to use and connect automatically.

  Try the following command line arguments:

  Know that what follows is just my opinion, based on my experience.  I did not review any documentation.

  Invalidate() is an instruction to a screen, the Manager or the field to extricate himself.  All it will do is run again the paint method.  If you use this if you have a custom field where you substituted object.  You can call invalidate() when you changed some aspects of it (for example the background color).

  If this do not rearrange the field, the screen, or the Manager.

  If you use the standard fields, then you don't need to call invalidate().  They will control for themselves.

  updateLayout() may be necessary when you change the size or shape or when you want to change the position of a field or a Manager.  You can call this method for the owner manager.  But you only will do that for your custom fields or managers, as all of the standard fields and managers know that they have to do this anyway.  Thus, for example, if you update the text of a LabelField, this will cause Manager of the LabelField to Redisposer the LabelField without needing any additional instructions.

  One last thing.  From my experience, you should avoid to relay out Manager where you have loads of fields displayed on a screen, because even if the phone did this, your application is blocked.  Users will think of you app is broken or lethargic.

  Even when I am using above solution, can't scroll. and click event of the hfmButtons buttons aren't the gt performed.

  Second... If I don't stand... I am able to scroll and executed at least the first 3 buttons click event.

  How can I implement for each button click event in any Manager? Is this possible...

• Overlay in the Manager field

  I have a related question to display that I have not been able to answer. It relates the point c below.

  Scenario:
  Let's say I have 5 cards in hand.
  a. I want to display the cards in a row, one next to the other, BUT with the cards overlapping partially (just like how you would hold some cards in your hand while playing a game).
  b. once I posted the cards, I want to be able to move the focus from one card to the other as I scroll using the trackball
  c. when any card is the focus, I want this card to be superimposed over all cards - in other words, if this card was partially shown because he was behind another card, but, when it gets the focus, it must show itself completely before any other map so that it is completely visible.

  I was able to achieve (a) and (b) thanks to the API documentation, and thanks to what I learned from the responses on crackberry forums. To achieve (a) and (b), each of my cards is a BitmapField and I have a Manager customized to help me display and scroll cards.

  However, I am NOT able to (c) above. It seems that the Manager (net.rim.device.api.ui.Manager) displays the fields in the same order that they were added to it. So if you add Field1 to the Manager before you always add Field2, then the Manager (Yes, always) displays Field1 below or under Field2 in the event of partial overlaps between Field1 and Field2. I found that the only way to work around this problem was to 'remove' field1 of the Manager and "add" it to have it above Field2 in the display. I find this ridiculous workaround solution because intuitively adding / removing fields from a Manager and fixing these fields display problems seem irrelevant to me. So is - can anyone help with a better solution?

  It's still not not clear to me what you want. Manager of application areas are drawn is in default is order of adding to the Manager with drawn up targeted field. For me, it's a quite logical. If you really need, you can change this substituting subpaint handler method and calling paintChild for children of fields in an order that you want. However I don't think that's what you want. For me, it's a lot more easy just add fields to the Manager in the order appropriate to customize the Manager to paint them in the order you want. That is to do something like this

  This way is much better, because the order of default naviagtion is also specified by field addition of order. There is no GOT behind the RIM Manager implementation that can guess the order of presentation of the user interface. Of course you can change it as well by substituting the nextFocus method, but why do you need all this in the first place? It's not clear to me this behavior you want to change in my example. What is the expected behavior? For me it all friendly a), b) and c) restrictions. I missed something?

I have successfully implemented a SSL certificate 3rd party Auth Web our WLAN of comments, but I need to install a self-signed certificate for the management of the WLC himself. I followed the instructions here:

  (2) you don't recombine the key with the certificate before you download to the WLC:

  Combine the CA.pem certificate with the private key, and then convert the file to a .pem file.

  Note: In this command, you must enter a password for the parameters -passin' and -passout . The password is set to the setting -passout must match the setting SubscriptionId is configured on the WLC. Step 4 of the procedure in the section download the WLC third certificate of this document deals with the configuration of the SubscriptionId parameter.

  The final.pem is the file that is transferred via TFTP to the Cisco WLC.

  Now that you have the certificate of the third-party CA, you must download the certificate to the WLC.

  For points of access (PA) behind a router, I give each a diffferent LAN address and port number.  In router I have forward TCP traffic with the single port/LAN IP.  Then using the port numbers with the address of the static router, the browser can remote access to the router or the attached AP.  But where do I put the managed switch LAN port number?  Assume default is port 80 and I would change to 8001 to switch #1; 8002 to switch #2; etc.  Could not find this info in the manual of configurtion.

  I have reproduced the concern here and I am able to remotely manage my switch SF300 with an RV082 as the router.

  My rule in the RV082 are as follows:

  Creating a custom topic UPnP service.  Create SF300 application name (it is a basic text field and can be any name), 8001 an external port and internal port 80.  I send to the address IP internal SF300 switch and click the check box.  From there on, I select Add to the list.  Once it appears in my list, I then click Save settings at the bottom of the page.

  It seems that the definition of your simultaneous program includes two parameters with the same domain "Token", which is the field to the report. Review the settings and check if this is the case.
