Duplicate of MovieClips made by the Flash drawing API

Hello

I have this simple configuration:

-MOVIECLIP1, with more than 30 design execution forms which modify the enterframe.

- and MOVIECLIP2, which must contain an exact copy of the comic data MOVIECLIP1.

The point is that MOVIECLIP2 will be like a 'reflection' or 'shadow' of movieclip1.

I will not need to make one any interaction with it, just apply filters.

Is there anyway that this can be possible - rather than having to draw the same forms twice on the two movieclips?

Thank you

never done it myself but looking at the MovieCLip API

you draw these shapes on the MC graphics object?

Maybe mc2.graphics.copyFrom (mc1.graphics);

  • Help - Flash 8 display bug w / transparency and Drawing API

    Hello

    I was wondering if anyone has a work around for this bug?

    When I use the drawing API to create a full circle in a new MovieClip (with the drawCircle function defined in the docs), and then set the new video at 50% alpha, half of the race is set to 100% alpha. It is easy to reproduce, simply paste the following text in a new flash document and you'll see what I mean:

    createEmptyMovieClip ("a", 10);
    This.a._x = 50;
    This.a._y = 50;
    This.a._visible = true;
    This.a._alpha = 50;
    this.a.lineStyle (10, 0xFF0000, 100);
    this.a.beginFill (0 x 888888, 100);
    drawCircle (a, 50, 50, 50);
    this.a.endFill ();

    function drawCircle(mc:MovieClip,_x:Number,_y:Number,_r:Number):Void
    {
    Taken directly from the Flash documentation
    mc.moveTo (x + r, y);
    mc.curveTo (r + x, Math.tan (Math.PI/8) * r + y, Math.sin (Math.PI/4) * r + x)
    Math.Sin(Math.pi/4)*r+y);
    mc.curveTo (Math.tan (Math.PI/8) * r + x r + y, x, r + y);
    mc.curveTo (-Math.tan (Math.PI/8) * r, r + x, y-Math.sin (Math.PI/4) * r + x)
    Math.Sin(Math.pi/4)*r+y);
    mc.curveTo (r + x, Math.tan (Math.PI/8) * r + y, r - + x, y);
    mc.curveTo (- r + x, - Math.tan (Math.PI/8) * r + y,-Math.sin (Math.PI/4) * r + x)
    -Math.sin(Math.PI/4)*r+y);
    mc.curveTo (-Math.tan (Math.PI/8) * r + x, - r + y, x, - r + y);
    mc.curveTo (Math.tan (Math.PI/8) * r, - r, + x, y, Math.sin (Math.PI/4) * r + x)
    -Math.sin(Math.PI/4)*r+y);
    mc.curveTo (r + x,-Math.tan (Math.PI/8) * r + y, r + x, y);
    }

    You can see that it looks like there are two lines instead of one. This is a very serious bug in my chart and I don't know how to get around it! Does anyone have advice?

    I use Flash 8.

    Thank you very much
    Michael

    1/2 stroke is overlaid with the filling. to remedy this, create your race 'outside' of the filling. That is to say, draw the line with the same Center, but with a RADIUS has increased to 1/2 the width of the outline.

  • How to transfer the movie to the flash drive

    I am trying to transfer the video I made using imovie on a flash drive, but it cannot be copied, the film is the 5.62 GB and Flash drive is 32 GB.

    Probably, your USB is formatted for a PC and not Apple. Most of them is set form in format FAT 32 PC, or something similar.  This format limits any file size to 4 GB.   It must be in MAC OS extended (journaled) format. Order/Get Info lets you know how it is formatted.    If it's not MAC OS extended (journaled) Apple, you can reformat the drive to MAC OS extended (journaled) using the utility disc on your Mac application.    You must first remove all files from your USB drive to a different drive, because reformatting the flash drive will delete all the files it contains.  Once the flash drive is reformatted, you will be able to tailor your movie on this subject, assuming that other files do not use disk space.

  • I upgraded my Vista Home premium to windows 7 ultimate, shortcuts on the desktop are not displayed, and can be created, or any folder cannot be created until the flash drive is reinserted

    also all the shortcuts on the desktop are not displayed, and can be created, or any folder cannot be created so that the flash disk is reinserted

    Hi subhshy001,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Windows answers Forum community!

    Try this if you do not have

    Windows Explorer to create the folders and shortcuts in your document folder, drag and drop them on your desktop.

    If you have completed the steps and was not even useful,

    Follow these steps:

    Try to create a shortcut and sending it on the desktop.

    (1) open: Start Menu ,.
    (2) right-click: Internet Explorer icon .
    (3) select: send to > desktop (create shortcut).

    There should be a shortcut on the desktop .

    Make sure that the "show desktop icon" has a check against it

    OR

    Just click on the empty part of the desktop, choose new > then select the folder to create. Right click on this folder , select Rename it.

    If the steps above do not work then:

    You can scan your computer for malware.

    You can download, install and update anti-malware free of your favorite search engine and find malware.

    To help resolve this problem, use the tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. open an elevated command prompt . To do this, click Start , click principally made programs , Accessories , right-click guest , and then click run as administrator .  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow .
    2. type the following command and press ENTER: sfc/scannow (Yes there is a space after sfc) the sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions. This analysis do take some time to complete.

    Hope this information helped!

  • Can I wireless use a 430 EX II as a slave with the flash integrated the T3i EOS?

    I have a Rebel EOS T3i.  According to its manual, pp 191 ff, I can launch a remote speedlite wireless from the camera.  I get an error message cannot find the speedlite even if I set up my 430 EX II speedlite according to its instructions manual, pp25 ff.  Thanks for your help

    Yes - the 430EX II will function as a slave and the T3i (but not the T2i or earlier) can trigger remotely the speedlite.

    It of a little complicated and can be confusing.

    First... set the 430EX II in the correct mode.  Press and HOLD the 'Zoom' button for 2 seconds approximately.  This active a menu that allows you to put the flash is in a mode single-fash vs remote "slave".  Semicircular keys to switch to read 'slave '.  Press 'set' (in the middle of these buttons of a semicircle shape.)  I happen to have my 430EX II practical, but it must default to the slave 'A' channel '1 '.

    Now for the camera.

    On your camera menu, tab to the left (which we'll call 'Caméra Red #1' to distinguish it from other tabs) has 'Flash' control as the last option on this screen.  Either way for cameras with a built-in popup flash, the menu is marked 'Flash Control'.  For devices that do NOT have the built-in pop-up flash, this menu is called "Flash speedlite external control.

    In this submenu (Flash control), make sure "Flash of fire" (the top option) is set to 'Enable' or 'CustWireless' - should NOT be set to 'disable' or nothing will work.

    You will see a menu choice for "external Flash func. parameter' (and also 'External flash C.Fn setting'.)  IGNORE THESE!  This is for the hot flashes that are in the camera hotshoe and do NOT control the remote flashes wireless.  This is probably where you were getting confused.

    Then go to "built-in flash func. the parameters' where, paradoxically, you get to control how your device communicates with your flash REMOTE (Yes, I know that this is not the most intuitive place to put it.)  It turns out that it is your INTERNAL flash that is responsible for communicating with any flash slave remote.  The optical wireless actually uses visible light (many people assume that it is a communication infrared - me is understood - at the end of the day, I learned that was incorrect and it's actually the visible light of the flash itself.)  He quickly sends communication to remote control by pulse codes to tell flash what to do remotely.  All this happens until the image is exposed and you'd swear the only blinked once eyes flash... but it turns out that it is actually very busy away from the impulse to connect).

    In the "func flash built-in. menu of settings"there are a number of things that you must set.

    If you set the flash mode built in 'EasyWireless' it will be gray on many other parameters... basically the camera automatically decides what he wants to do.  I think that the only definition not gray is the channel number (which must match the channel number on your flash.  Channel numbers helps you can draw on events where other photographers are also using wireless flash and have no conflicts where they are triggering your flashes and vice versa.

    If you set the flash mode built in "CustWireless" it allows you to set other options.  CustWireless offers the most control.  In the end, it's probably mode you will use the most, once you get used to distance Speedlites.

    In CustWireless, the menu option 'Wireless' Func mode. becomes available.  This option allows you to decide if you want (I take these out of use for simplicity to explain):

    (a) speedlites both internal and external to the fire as a single group (icon external flash, a PLUS sign (+) and the camera icon)

    (b) the Speedlite flashes inside and outside to the fire, but allowing you to control the power RATIO (icon external flash, a COLON symbol ( and the camera icon means "ratios" can be customized.))

    (c) only external Speedlites (only the external flash icon is on this option - no icon on the device).

    I want to mention something about this external option only because it confuses most people initially.  The device communicates with the slave through the on-camera flash.  The flash on the camera quickly pulses to send the instructions for flashes to distance.  This means that to use the slave flashes, the on-camera flash must be addressed (in jumps - upward position).  If you ask for external flash only (without camera) the flash on the camera flashed only instructions BEFORE the opening of the shutter of the camera to take the exhibition.  When I started to learn from external Speedlite flashes, I saw the light on-camera flash and thought that my settings were ignored.  Do not worry... When you archive your images, you will see that there is no light provided by the on-camera flash during exposure... all this flashing comes before the opening of the shutter.   Everything happens so fast that you'd swear all the flashes triggered only once... but in reality they are actually much of 'talk' before taking the picture, but this happens at an incredible speed.

    And one last comment... because the camera communicates through Optics (visible light) flash to talk to remote controls, it is important from the bottom of the body of your 430EX II can 'see' the flash on the camera.  In small parts, that no matter where the lower part of the body showed up... you notice the impulses of the light of the on-camera flash.  But in large halls or outside the lower body of your 430EX II (where the receiver is located) will have any reflection of the walls, etc.  In this case, simply turn the lower part of the body of the 430EX II so that it faces the on-camera flash.  You can then rotate the head of the 430EX II at the point where you need.  The 430EX II will trigger even in daylight, as long as it can 'see' as the on-camera flash.

  • computer accepts the flash drive, but the drive does not appear anywhere.

    I can insert a flash drive and the computer accepts it, but the reader does not anywhere - I see the drive C, drive D, but not E, F or anything would be the flash player. Him 'delete... '. Safely"icon acknowledges the drive is there, but I can't copy a file to it, because it does not appear on the list of drives.

    I had a similar problem and it was hardware related.  There was too many USB devices on my drawing power USB bus, even if I had 6 USB ports on the motherboard.  I bought a 7 port Belkin powered hub to solve the problem.  A device such as a flash drive would connection beep and come in the widget of material safely remove, but the drive letter would never appear.

    Unplug all usb devices, turn off the system and pull on the power cord.  Remove the battery if a laptop.  Wait a minute or two to make sure that all power had evacuated and then turn it on and see if the flash player works just in itself.

    I assume that you checked the fash drive and it's OK.

  • How to detect Flash version version in Javascript before the Flash?

    Versions of flash player are in the format: Major.Minor.Release.Build

    Many sites use the SWFObject javascript library to detect the installed version of Flash player.

    The SWFObject tool is only able to detect the drive installed Major.Minor.Release version numbers.

    It is not able to distinguish the Build number.

    Recent security patches are only increment the version number, is not possible to ensure that the user has a version that is installed without danger.

    The SWFObject detection occurs BEFORE the FireFox browser version detection, so we could show a more user-friendly message "Please update your Flash" for users.

    How to detect Flash version version in Javascript before the Flash?
    Or Adobe would be kind enough to increment the version when the critical security patches are made?

    var a = navigator.plugins;

    var dllfname;

    If (0< a.length)="">

    for (var d = "", b = 0, g =.) Length; b< g;="" b++)="" if="" (-1="" !="a[b].name.toLowerCase().indexOf(" flash"))"="">

    dllfname = a [b]. Filename;

    }

    }

    $parts = dllfname.replace(".dll",_"").split ("_");

    $buildnumber = parseInt($parts[4]);

    This will get the build number of the dll file name string and can be concatenated with swfobject.getFlashPlayerVersion Major.Minor.Release version numbers ().

  • How to access a button inside a MovieClip that is the source of a scrollpane?

    Hello world

    I created a crollpane in my flash file and the source of the pane scrolling is a movieclip that contains a button.

    Now, I want to add a function to stop this button to link to an image in the main timeline.

    Could someone tell me what is the right as3 code to access this button?

    Thank you!

    To target the movieclip which is the source of the pane scrolling you can use:

    MovieClip (sp.content) / / where sp is the name of the instance of scrollpane

    So, to target the button with this movieclip...

    MovieClip (sp.content).btn.addEventListener (... etc.

    Hello

    I have 3 articles on 14 that crashed the flash plugin in the producer of folio. I don't have any idea how to solve this. Any help would be SO appreciated! (The rest of the items in the folio don't give me no harm)

    Do this, when I am updating in Indesign...

    Screen Shot 2012-11-13 at 1.19.53 PM.png

    We have found and solved the problem and just need to focus on when it can be deployed safely. I'll follow up with good news when we made this decision, it should be soon.

    In the meantime, try a solution for me? Follow the steps below to set the default list view in your application:

    1. Go to the Organizer Folio of the IU producer
    2. Open one of the folios which does not cause the behavior that is
    3. Switch to the display of the list (see image)
    4. Return to the Organizer
    5. Open folio that causes the crash

    The bug is caused by a problem with thumbnail image rendering, so the display of the list shouldn't cause the same problems. Please let me know if it is of a useful workaround.

    Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

    Quite simply, while playing almost all the Flash games, pretty much any site (Newgrounds, Kongregate, etc.), seeds from cursor on (to clarify, the cursor is evolving between "Point" and "Select" icons hand,) on the edges of the screen, and even on some of them, it is the entire screen. In addition, by clicking on collapsed it most of the time, but it does not activate what I clicked on. This is particularly annoying in opportunities to click - drag, where I try to drag and drop several times, finally article acknowledge that I made such action, only to have me not see over time and release the mouse button (my fault I know that, but still aggrevateing)

    I have not tried to uninstall/reinstall or use another browser yet... I'll try to try other browsers after the announcement (because honestly, I prefer Firefox to IE), and not where I looked at have had no information about it.

    Thanks in advance for any assistance redered.

    You might want to try Chrome, to see how it behaves.  Any chance you could take a few videos of this behavior (cell phone would be nice) that I can get a better idea of what is happening?

    Thank you
    Chris

  • Are there tags for the Flash buttons so there navagation for iPad

    Maybe I not looking in the right places, but anyone know of a label or an alt line which can offer the iPad visitors the possibility to navagate a website that uses Flash buttons?  There must be something that can appear instead a button Flash when flash challenged iPads come visit but is not visible if the flash buttons are visible to others. The goal is to find a change in the code rather than review site, by replacing all the buttons, or simply ignore this market growning.

    Any suggestions?

    Perhaps the simplest solution is the one that has been available for years... even this last boom iProduct... before and which is to provide replacement for any Flash content HTML content... made via swfobject, a small Flash detection .js. If Flash is detected... it displays the Flash, otherwise, it displays the HTML content.

    If you don't want to bother making up the overthrow HTML or CSS buttons, open your Flash buttons file .fla and 'Export' (.jgp) image of the Flash buttons... it will be the same size as the .swf... so fits very well. Then place this image in exactly the same

    as the .swf and hotmap nav links directly on the different buttons.

    Who stand up and working first, then if you still want to use Flash, use swbobject to place the .swf in the same

    . Viewers with Flash will see the Flash keys, those without will see the hotmapped picture... will work just great.

    for example:

    http://www.ksowetsuits.com/

    View source... in addition to the navigation code, there is a huge amount of HTML text on the page for SEO purposes... but if you have Flash, what you see is just a very simple .swf... who happens be a unique and simple image.

    More info on swfobject, here:

  • stop loading the flash file - leave it only in a certain range and then stops

    Hello

    have a problem with a flash page I design...

    I want the. SWF file to be opened but no donwloaded up to what a key is pressed but does not know ho to do...

    I'll be more specific:

    frame 1, I have an object (movieclip) which consists of a logo with a blur... effect after 1-2 seconds, the blur effect disappears, and you can see the logo. the logo itself is a button that will send the user to the next section on the main stage.

    on frame 2 of the main stage, I have a preloader that shows a progress bar and percentage of the page loaded... everything works fine

    the problem is that when you open the swf file, in that it begins to download the hole flash site and when you press on enter the site is already loaded and you don't see the progress of the preloader bar...

    I want only 1 framework the main stage to be loded, then I stop loading (download) the SWF file until you press ENTER.

    Enter when you press on I want the flash site to load and so you can see the preloader in action...

    can I put a code on the layer of action on the 1 setting that stops the loading of the movie (the first image is loaded and play the effect of blurring of the logo). and another code on the second image (where the preloader is visible) which includes the donwloading?

    Thank you much for the help!

    Hello

    you are right, you will find yourself with two swf files.
    I hope you're on Actionscript 3.0:

    ...

    enterButton_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, loadMyApp)

    ....

    function loadMyApp(e:Event=null):void {
         var ldr:Loader = new Loader();
         ldr.contentLoader.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, onComplete);
         ldr.contentLoader.addEventListener(ErrorEvent.IO_ERROR, onError);
         ldr.contentLaoder.addEventListener(ProgressEvent.PROGRESS, onProgress)
         ldr.load(URLRequest('mysite.swf'));
    }

    function onProgress(e:ProgressEvent):void{
         trace(e.bytesTotal/e.bytesLoaded * 100 +'% loaded');
    }

    function onError(e:ErrorEvent):void{
         trace('Ooops something went wrong: '+e.text)
    }

    function onComplete(e:Event):void{
         addChild(e.currentTarget.content);
    }

    Take a look at adobe's reference http://www.adobe.com/livedocs/flash/9.0/ActionScriptLangRefV3/

    Kind regards

  • changes made to the code do not appear in the file swf, even trace instructions not.

    I just picked up a clients flex project and I can't get the app to reflect even a simple statement trace.

    Before that I took over, the project was built last successfully with the environment/sdk Flash Builder Beta 2. I have the latest version of Flash Builder 4.

    To import the project into FB4, I get a ton of errors.  Most of them, mainly because of changes made to the beta2 sdk for free.

    Some of the things that I fixed:

    -mx to library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx library://ns.adobe.com/flex/halo namespace

    -player video count: many names of the State for the video player component had been changed, more correctly States had been added.  There are also other related component video and property names that needed to be updated.

    But I have corrected this and the application is finally able to compile (but with a few caveats the type of variable in double especially)

    The only thing is now that any change I make to the project is not reflected in the build (debug or release).  I have changed the existing traces, added additional traces. Nothing is displayed.  I even removed the applicationComplete property in the main.mxml.  Still, everything worked as nothing has changed.

    Also I can't debug the application.  Whenever I try to debug... Flash builder said... "Swf application contains no debug information required...". "

    Anyone has any idea how to even begin to tackle this? Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

    Have you tried to project-> 'clean' the project?

    Also, instead of wasting more time with the import, I try and create a new project in FB 4 and copy all the code sorce and assets in the new project. Flex 2 has been a long time ago.
