DV5T-2000 drivers
Hello
Did a clean install of Windows 7 on my DV5T-2000, there are two elements in the Device Manager under "other devices" that have question marks against them that no driver. One is a PCI communication controller, the other is an unknown device. All other elements seem to have pilots, including the built-in broadband modem. I downloaded all the drivers under DV5T-2000 located under Win 7 64 bit from the HP support site, but none to work on this problem.
I appreaciate any help anyone can give.
PS, I don't have the spare disks. Thank you
Chris
I suggest that you use Intel driver as it might be more later. However, here is the link to SoftPaq for Intel Graphics:

Can you please understand that the hardware components for Vista are designed on the basis of entirely new standards and if you need drivers for older operating system happy trying to check the support site for hardware manufacturers (chipset, graphics, sound).
I know that Toshiba does not support Windows XP Home edition for all new models of laptops and W2000 is not certainly supported.

Portege 3010 ct: Question about drivers USB under W2k
Can someone point me in the direction of the Windows 2000 drivers for the CT 3010 Portege USB port? I can only find Win 95 and 98, and they do not seem to work.

Hello
Usually it of not necessary to install the additional USB drivers for W2k or WinXP.
I read on some sites that sometimes, the service pack update will solve driver problems. You should check if you have installed all SP for W2k.I also found this site:

You should check it out. -
HELP: do pls Win2k drivers for my Toshiba RL/cards
I have a Portege A100 and Windows 2000 is installed. I used the Toshiba driver CD to install all my drivers. Everything seems to work except my drivers & RL. They install fine without error, but my LAN/WAN device appears as unknown in Device Manager. I tried the option menu "Reinstall driver", but who has not found all the drivers from the CD.
I went to the downloads section of the Toshiba Web site and found that there is no driver of LAN/WAN for Windows 2000, even if there is a BIOS drivers for Windows 2000.
Wonder if it is possible to adjust these drivers Windows XP LAN/WAN, so that they can work for Windows 2000?

Hello
Problem is that your device is not supported for W2000 and you find it on the download page of Toshiba. The only solution is to check the driver and the hardware producer download page if you can find it here.
You can also try to find out if another Portege model has the same hardware. It may happen that a different model is supported for W2000 users.
Good luck!

Satellite 1410 s102 - drivers needed
Hello
I need advice asap guys!
I am about to format the laptop above. I have more however have the drivers for it and will not use the recovery CD.
So can someone please tell me that I will need for all the fuctions be like usual drivers. That is where a full install of XP will not include.
Also how hell for you to do these things to boot to a CD? Can I enter the BIOS and display the startup series?
See you soon
GS
I am not a technophile, but there is probably little around at the moment Saturday night/Sunday morning so hope this helps.
These instructions are in the Instruction Manual. If you do not why you don't download a copy?
1. load the product in the player recovery CD and turn off the computer.
2 hold down the C key and power on. When the Toshiba logo appears, release the C key.
3. follow the on-screen instructions. That's the product recovery CD, but it should work with a Windows OS bootable CD I think.
If you load Windows XP it should work with the drivers on this CD, I think, without having to load the drivers from Toshiba, but if you want, in my opinion, they are available on this site. This link refers to Win 2000 drivers, but it probably applies to Win XP as well.

Replace windows 2000 Pro with Win XP Pro SP2
What could be the best way to go about changing of OS witout losing Dat and the files on the PC. Would appreciate all comments and helwith the new facility.
Thanks adavance
Start the computer to the Windows 2000 Professional operating system. Insert the CD in the DVD in the usual way. Run the Setup program. Select the upgrade installation. Follow the prompts. Everything should be OK with your user files and applications still in place.
Should be. No guarantee.
Best to make sure you have backups of all your files of the user, including electronic stores you want. Also. Make sure that you have a way to reinstall your programs. If you need print creitical. Make sure you check the availability of the XP drivers for your printers. Remove the Windows 2000 drivers before the update and install XP drivers after. Even if the printer uses the same driver for 2000 and XP, I would like to remove it before upgrading. Less liklihood of problems.

You physically impossible to move your USB 3.0 only medium is a PCMIA card that has connections USB3. With respect to the processor that depends on the P/n, and then repair will tell you if you can or cannot go to i5.
I did a search for general model since I have not exactly P/N... and came with this...
