That does not work. Others said they have not obtained that it works after you have uninstalled all THE software Lenovo machine. That seems excessive. Is there an official upgrade guide that includes dealing with this issue?

  You can find answers here and there was a guide to prepare the installation of window 8 of.

• Disc printer HP C4700 (xp, vista, win7) have win8.1. Failed to install. Help

  I can get the printer to work with a USB cable, but want to go wireless.  My drive is outdated, I guess.  When I open the drive, it tells me to hit "install". When I do, it closes.  I bought this desk top 6 months ago and had another internet provider and things worked fine.  When we went, I could get my lap top to work wireless, but no luck with the desk top.

  All ideas"appreciate any assistance.

  YAHOOOOOOOO!  I'm back and reinstalled or downloaded installation and it's worked.  Thank you very much.  I now have my Office Wireless on my HP printer.

  I ran into the same problem that I had when I got this printer tho.  When I tried to save it, there is no (zero) selection for my C4780 printer.  Yet once I is not it.  Any ideas?  I'm not properly, call an all-in-one? C4700 series printer?  Again, no response would be greatly appreciated, and you get a big helping hand upward.  Thanks again.

  I am the owner of a laptop runs on Windows Vista 32-bit.
  I noticed that it was possible to support Toshiba Web site to download the drivers for Windows 7
  so I guess my computer is compatible.

  However, my PC system settings are compatible with Windows 8 according to the microsoft Web site.
  But the fact is that the Toshiba Web site provides drivers for windows 8 on my computer.

  So my question is: knowing what I said before is it possible to move safely from Vista to Windows 8 without having problems after installation?

  Satellite L40 is older machine and certainly not supported for Win8 but Toshiba offers drivers, tools and utilities for Win7.
  In my opinion you should use Win7 32 bit about this old piece of hardware. In the past, I have successfully improved several old machines Vista Win7 and all run well and very stable.

  I think that Win8 isn't the best option for your Satellite L40.
