Excuse me! I'm Nghia, I'm at the Viet Nam. I'm newcome Georgia of the U.S., I've been here 3 weeks, so I know a little English. Can you help me please? I have a HP laptop, it's HP Pavilion dv6000 model system, I've implemented 32-bit Windows 7 for my laptop but I'm not find driver on the internet. Who do you have? Can you gave me drivers? Please help me! Thanks in any case! Good luck to you! This is my email address: [personal information deleted]

Hello Nghia

As far as I know because you do not have drivers available for your laptop on windows 7 32 bit

You can always go to HP.com and download the driver for windows vista, in most cases it should work correctly and should be able to provide the basic functionality of the devices on your laptop.

You can visit the link below and put in your model name/number books and try that.

    Hello:

You can get the BIOS to support driver page was last updated and your laptop on the link below.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/product?cc=us&LC=en&DLC=en&product=3664998

I will repeat what I mentioned earlier.

    1. There is only a Windows-based flash file.  Only company in the HP PC have BACK base of flash files and there is no way to update the BIOS from a drive, flash or BACK etc.

    2. you only need to run the Windows based flash using the operating system support (Windows Vista only).

Any attempt to Flash the BIOS using any other operating system laptop = dead.

The graphics card is soldered to the motherboard and cannot be removed or replaced.  It doesn't matter what said you that any software.  There is no graphics removable 'card' in your laptop.

Please identify your laptop with the name of the product (p/n). It should be on the sticker with a bar code at the bottom of your laptop or HP Support Assistant.

What you probably need is to install the chipset drivers. You can find them in the download section of the portal software and drivers for your laptop HP support web. Install the drivers for your operating system installed.

  • HP Pavilion dv6000: HP laptop can't find network driver

I tried to locate the network adapter driver correct (the wired, not wireless network, which works very well) to Windows 7 for this laptop.

I tried the drivers from nVidia (several of the legacy/nForce drivers) but in Device Manager it still says "this device cannot start. (Code 10) "(this is for the"NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller"entry, similarly he mistakes even for HP I tried.)

Here is the list I have already experienced:

    HP:

    * sp45169.exe (error but is not displayed anywhere)

    * sp48125.exe (fails "not for your system" - looks like it is Vista only)

    NVidia:

    * 15.23_nforce_winvista64_international_whql.exe

    * 15.58-nforce-winvista-win7-64bit-international-whql.exe)

In Device Manager, the info is indicated on the adapter:

    Hardware ID:

    PCI\VEN_10DE & DEV_054C & SUBSYS_30CF103C & REV_A2
    PCI\VEN_10DE & DEV_054C & SUBSYS_30CF103C
    PCI\VEN_10DE & DEV_054C & CC_020000
    PCI\VEN_10DE & DEV_054C & CC_0200

    Device Instance path:

    PCI\VEN_10DE & DEV_054C & SUBSYS_30CF103C & REV_A2\3 & 2411E6FE & 1 & 50

    Any ideas?

    Hello:

    This driver should work...

This package provides the driver for the NVIDIA nForce Chipset AR in the notebook models and operating systems.

    File name: sp37730.exe

Here's a partial copy and paste the ethernet driver installation folder of the file of information that shows this driver supports this hardware ID.

  • Windows 7 drivers for pavilion dv6100

Hello. I have a laptop HP Pavilion dv6100 CTO and I just did a clean install of Windows 7 Pro 32 bit and now I can not find drivers!

    AMD Mobile Sempron 3500 + 1.8ghz
    2 GB of ram
    GeForce go 6150

Windows update does nothing and will not be the last "search for updates" screen. The laptop has a GeForce 6150 Integrated GPU go and I can not the Nvidia driver either, at least not the driver. Is there an nforce chipset? The site of HP said the only supported driver is for XP or Vista and Vista with the same kernal I tried to download those with no luck. Any ideas? I can't believe that there are no drivers compatible with windows 7. There is a lot of material not recognized, but I do not know what. I have internet and sound, although the system is much slower that we shouldn't. No work around? What happened to Windows 10?

    You are the very welcome.

I don't think it's worth paying money for drivers.

Everything you need to know is the hardware ID's for the missing devices, google and you will normally find the answer to what drivers you need.

You can also google how to find the ID of the hardware for a device.

For the 3xBSD you need this driver...

This package contains the driver and the user interface for the Ricoh 5-in-1 Card Reader.

    File name: sp34665.exe

If the hardware for the unknown device ID is ACPI/HPQ0006, then you need this driver.

I had read the guide to upgrade windows 7 dv6000 to find out if there are suggestions that are of help to you.

I have a dv6000 model newer than yours I gave suite (dv6810us) with the nvidia chipset and amd processor, and he ran W7 x 64 very well.  No problem at all.  That one had the Nvidia 7150 graphics.

Just using the support page Vista drivers worked for me.

The only drivers W7 I used were the quick launch buttons driver that I posted for you and the software of wireless assistant W7 (required only if you want to turn the cards wireless and bluetooth on and off separately).

  • Pavilion dv6000: activate embedded speakers

I have a HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop running Vista. Recently, I bought a pair of external speakers that connect to the computer via the USB cable and the software owner.

Trying to get these external speakers to work I went to control panel > sounds and choose an option to disable the onboard speakers. This caused the icon for the onboard speakers to disappear.

Now the laptop plays sound only through external speakers. Can someone please offer me assistance to the reactivation of the speakers on board?

In the absence of any response, I started scratching around me to try to find clues that could lead to a solution.

Because I thought that the laptop sound card drivers may need to be reinstalled I tried "hp notebook drivers" and in very little time looking at this page: http://tinyurl.com/kkjqrs. One of the topics he is 'not to sound or Audio in Vista problems' - it's well to the top of my street.

After that following the method to "perform a simple system of his essay" and the reading of the following points, it occurred to me that Vista doesn't no default display device disabled on this portable icons. Right click, select poster devices disabled and I have been home and hosed.

    Hi, Dave:

It's the driver page that you should use...

Audio... first of all, install this driver and restart.

I don't know which model ethernet or wireless cards your model has, but it's pretty easy to find.

I will guide you how to get the hardware for the network controller (Wireless Card) ID and you can validate the other ID for the rest of the devices that need drivers.

Go to Device Manager and click on the network controller needing drivers.  Then click on the Details tab on the top of the control of the network window.

After the string of characters you see that start with PCI\VEN.

Who can tell me what model of device it is.

If you do not see a listed network controller device, you may need to install this software first of all for the convening of the card.

  • Windows 8 and dv6000

I haven't posted anything yet so I thought I'd let anyone who is curious given know: Yes, you can upgrade your DV6000 with Windows 8.  I did mine a few days ago and it seems to work great so far.  The procedure described in the thread Windows 7 Upgrade Guide for HP laptops for laptops of level 3 pretty much works for Windows 8, but with even less work.

My hardware configuration given that class DV6000 laptop computers were so many hardware configurations.  Not sure if I have a DV6000 DV6100 since my case has a certain product number and my BIOS has a number of different products.

Intel Centrino Duo T5600 at 1.83 GHz
    Intel ICH7 chipset
processor nVidia GeForce Go 7400 graphics
    Built in webcam
    SD card slot

I did a backup of my hard drive image by moving the drive of my laptop to another computer and using Acronis True Image backup (free versions available at Seagate and Western Digital).  Replaced the hard drive and run Setup from Win8 since a DVD burned ISO image created by the Upgrade Wizard of Windows 8.

I selected "Custom" for the type of installation, so I could change the partition of my hard drive.  Like most HP laptops, I had a recovery Partition and a partition without a name (diagnostic?).  I used the Setup program to remove all partitions so that Win8 would have the use of the disk set.

The installer of Windows 8 identified and installed the drivers for most hardware on my laptop.  Drivers not installed by the Setup program were for the audio Conexant modem Conexant soft, quick launch buttons, the Ricoh 5-in-1 card reader and the nVidia GPU.  All, but the card reader Ricoh and driver nVidia GPUS have been downloaded by Windows Update, when first update.  If you are connected to the internet during installation, the installer can download drivers during installation.

The installer has correctly identified the Ricoh memory card reader and buried a message in the center of the Action.  The message tells you automatically to a HP's FTP server to download the driver for the memory card reader.

The only factor that had to be downloaded and installed manually was for the nVidia GPU.  The latest worm driver 179,48 for Win7 from the nVidia Web site has worked well.  Do not use the Vista driver on the HP site.  The tiles disappear with it.

And that's all.  I was able to find more recent drivers for the Intel PRO / Wireless and I always check other materials.  But the installer of Windows 8 does most of the work and did it properly.

Windows 8 feels much faster than Windows XP.  It starts without a doubt faster and other window operations feel more quickly together.  The Metro interface is a little weird, but I can live with that.

So if you have a DV6000 similar to mine, Yes, you can put Win8 on it.

This document has this info, but you are just CliffPre.

    Upgrade to Windows 8 document
