  If you had installed the sata driver provided, model you will need an additional step to work around the error ACPI by pressing F7 seeing (press F6 if you need to install a third-party RAID or SCSI driver displayed).

  Hello:

  Go to support and drivers for your model and download and install the card reader driver.

  Normally, the card reader driver is listed under the category of storage on the driver download page.

  That's the best I can do without knowing the number of full model of your PC.

• DV7-1211ea: cannot download DV7 Windows 7 drivers

  Machine of my son started showing all kinds of errors, the worst was the Nvidia graphics drivers kept crashing.  After looking at the machine, I found a miriad of errors to the file and that the player has been occasionally clicking on I decided the time had come to abandon the drive and Windows Vista.  I have replaced the drive, bought Win7 Pro 64-bit (sorry guys at Microsoft - Windows 8 is dreadful on a non touchscreen laptop, but I still love Windows 10 - pending!).

  Now comes the problem... I need the chipset and other drivers for Windows 7, but each time I have search on the support site I can only get the results for Vista, when I change the BONES he finds nothing.  Thinking it was a problem of site, I left it a few days but now, the site displays "500 Internal Server Error" so I guess that the problem with the Web site has got worse rather than better!  Is there anywhere (safe), can I download these drivers other than on the site of HP?  My son needs this machine as soon as POSSIBLE and trying to get me sorted!  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, cheers!

• HP pavilion dv7 2050ev missing drivers on windows 8.1

  Recently, I upgraded my laptop from 5 to windows 8.1. After all windows etc updates, I realized that 5 devices were not recognized in Device Manager.

  By accessing the properties > details and choosing the hardware ID I found the drivers for two of my previously "unknown devices". Now, they work perfectly.

  If, for these other 3 devices, I am still unable to locate the required drivers.

  The identifiers are:

  (1) PCI\VEN_197B & DEV_2382 & SUBSYS_3624103C & REV_00

  (2) PCI\VEN_197B & DEV_2383 & SUBSYS_3624103C & REV_00

  (3) PCI\VEN_197B & DEV_2384 & SUBSYS_3624103C & REV_00

  Where can I find the drivers for those? By Googling, I assume that they are related with the SD reader.

  Thank you for your inquiry.

  I appreciate that you try to connect a HARD drive via the USB port to 2.5HDD / cable SSD.  After uninstalling and reinstalling the USB root hub, you had several failures to restart, including fingerprint reader and HP LaserJet printers.

  You can try to do a Windows restore to a date well-known to acquire your fingerprint reader and the printer up and running.  If it is successful, once you have your income tax and other print material, I would recommend doing a recovery to factory.

  HP Notebook PC - using Microsoft System Restore

  You could also try to launch HP Support Assistant looking for HP drivers and software.

  You could try to reinstall the printer HP laserjet it can work also.

  Performing a recovery of system HP (Windows 7)

  There will be an option during the recovery to back up your personal files to avoid data loss.

  Restore files that have been supported to the top using HP Recovery Manager (Windows 7)

  Excellent... Thank you Daniel. That MS doesn't have the stuff, but at least it helped identify the wifi card. After the installation of sp39403 the wifi in the device manager card installs other devices - network to network cards controller real but has an exclamation point. Pilot wasn't always right. He has been identified as a series of card Atheros AR5009. I searched and found an updated driver sp42654 (tried to add shortcut HTML) and loaded. Card WiFi immediately started working.

  Success, finally. I think that everything is operational under a best Windows XP Pro instead of Vista.

  First of all, here is a link to your systems support page.

  Now that you are running a Vista machine.  In other words, it has been chugging along for awhile now.

  First thing you want to do is make a backup of all your data.  Music, Photos, Documents and so on.

  Then do a full restore of the system.  The reason is that your computer is that the data on it are displaced, written and erased many times leave stains on your hard drive that are sales (magnetic shadows of old data).  Thus, your operating system becomes a mess.

  Perform a recovery of the system (Windows Vista) HP

  You should actually do this once a year to keep your system clean and happy.  The computer is no different from any other machine.  As you want to change the oil and clean the car from time to time.  Your laptop must be maintained.

  There is software out there on the market, you can buy that will help you to clean your operating system and maintain your system registry database.  All of this helps.  Especially if you don't know what to look for and what places on your OS with these unnecessary files and the dust bunnies tend to hang out and start causing problems within the system.

  If you do not have the recovery partition or if you are not able to access for some reason this link will be of great help.
