Screen resolution: how to adapt?
How to set the resolution of the screen...
Go to the Web site of the manufacturer of your laptop computer-graphics/computer card > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for the latest Vista drivers > download/install them.
Then:

Change the screen resolution
Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.
See you soon.

How can I change screen resolution in firefox in 1280 x 720
Recently, I switched to windows vista ultimate.
I installed firefox 4.0.1.
When I open firefox the screen resolution goes to 1280 x 720 to 800 x 600 (or 640 x?).
How can I fix so I have 1280 x 720?If I have to can use Win Explorer how I transfer my firefox bookmarks to explore
I think that this may be caused by a parameter in the shortcut that allows you to start Firefox. If you close Firefox and right click on the shortcut (for example, on the desktop or quick launch, is relevant), choose Properties, then the Compatibility tab, try to clear all settings. Then restart Firefox. Who help me?

You want to change the resolution of your laptop screen?I assume you have an XP operating system.

(2) using a second way to make a right click on the desktop-> properties-> settings tab
There is also a setting to change the display resolution.Good bye

Satellite A300-18 has: how to increase the screen resolution
I have recently buy a Toshiba Satellite A300-18 a, and I want to increase the resolution of the screen.
Currently the max resolution is 1280 x 800.Does anyone know how to increase the resolution?
Where can I find the drivers to increase?Thank you
Henrique
Hello
I don t think a new graphics driver would allow a higher screen resolution on your laptop A300.
Have you checked your manual for more details?I downloaded the user manual of the Europe of Toshiba page and discovered that the display is a 15.4 WXGA 16Mill colors with the following resolution: 1280 horizontal and 800 pixels vertical.
It seems that you are already using the highest available resolution and therefore you will not be able to wear to higher values.

How to adjust the GUI on different screen resolution?
Hi all
I have an application that must be deployed on different stations with different screen resolutions. I want my application to be responsive, that it should be settled well in accordance with the resolution just like sensitive site. Is it possible to do?
You have at least two simple ways to accomplish what you want: setting the resolution and dispatchers.
The first automatically adjusts Panel when it is displayed on a screen with a different resolution than it was desigend on
Dispatchersneed a little more effort: basically, they can be used to change the appearance of the window when they are moved interactively by the operator or by programming with OperateSplitter. You can decide what controls are suitable when a divider ir operated and if they are moved or resized.
In the case of your example of the user interface, a horizontal separator could be used to resize the text box and move down buttons when the Panel is maximized.
The choice between these alternatives is on hand: I personally do not feel good with the brutal scale operated when you use the resolution setting so I normall use dispatchers to adapt application windows to the size of the screen.
You can see examples of the couplings in docking.prj and examples of splitter.prj located in the samples\userit folder. For an example of the first methos, the value attribute setting resolution 100, change the resolution of the screen and see what happens when you launch the program.

M3 MA50 - how to change screen resolution of highter?
The default screen resolution is 1366 x 768 on the Intel HD Graphics 3000. How can I take advantage of the graphics card Geforce GT 640 and change higher screen resolution?
The current screen resolution on 136 x 768 looks like shit.
The 1366 x 768 resolution is the maximum of material of the LCD display in the model. For a higher resolution, you will need to use an external monitor that supports a higher resolution.

How to set the lower screen resolution on HP Pavilion
I'm trying to figure out if its possible to lower my screen resolution of 800 x 600 on my HP Pavilion Sleekbook 14 - b010us running on Windows 8. I need to do that; It is the only way that I can get my pico projector to run using VGA to HDMI - I tried it with my Sony VAIO and it works perfectly. The lowest setting that I see on my HP is 1024 x 768, and it does not work. Any help? Don't want to have to buy a new projector - this one works very well and the HP laptop has a VGA port
I came across this same issue using the resolution option custom in the Intel driver manager and has had success using mode low resolution. I had also edited the registry to force more options. The registry change which resulted in several resolutions between 1366 x 768 and 1024 x 768, but nothing lower. Windows 8 is not really designed for lower resolutions (at least, which is not the ideal targeted resolutions), so I guess that would be present on any standard notebook Windows 8.
However, I have relevΘ this site today to make sure I wasn't overlooking anything... and it seems that I was. I don't know how I didn't have to check the option advanced settings for more resolutions. This approach does not require mode low resolution to restart, but it's going to require a screen resolution > avancΘs > list all modes to get 800 x 600 option each time you need.
Let me know if this has answered your questions.

How to make my top screen resolution
Hello
I just bought a monitor 24 inch LG compatible IPS 1920 x 1200 display. However, in my settings, the highest is 1280 x 1024. My graphics card is also new, an MSI NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 960. My operating system is Windows 7. How can I get my screen resolution up to 1920 x 1200? Helllllllp please.
For your new 960 GTX you also go to the NVIDIA WWW site and download the current drivers (version 355.98).
Their website is here and you can get them to automatically detect your GPU and suggest a driver or you can choose to download it yourself:
