dv8315nr falls to battery that plugged while, especially under load

Have the dv8315nr and keeps it from battery while that hip, especially when the PC is under load, such as games or using the CD player.  The power supply is ok, it has been tested with the other blocks of power and the problem still occurs.  If you disconnect the power from the pc and plug it in again, it (most of the time) is in a State of charge.  I sent to hp under the extended warranty and they sent returns with the diagnosis of "battery was bad, necessary new battery"... and it worked fine until just out of warranty then started again. "."

I don't think it's the battery, as it happens with or without the battery (of course it dies completely when the power goes down without a battery in).

Has anyone experienced this and if so, have a method to fix it?  I suspect that there is a hardware problem with the power supply in the laptop.

Sounds like the beginning of a bad decision. This is the place where you insert the adapter into the laptop. The problem is very common and requires installing a new plug. Fortunately for you, the dv8000 has the power supply as a separate plug-in module... it does not solder just removal and replacement.

This is an internet ad for a company that performs the repair. I do not pretend you hire but they post photos of the internal workings of the series dv8000 so you can understand what I write you about. The repair work is only moderately difficult; not nearly as bad as if weld was necessary. The part is readily available.

  • URGENT! Lenovo B590 - bad health that plugged while battery!

Hello, I have a Lenovo laptop B590 and received a message from the center of Solutions Lenovo telling me that my battery is in poor condition. He is currently 2%. I am connected with a power adapter and have not used the laptop unplugged. What should I do to fix this? My computer will still be able to run with just the AC power?

UPDATE: I am now able to use my laptop with 0% battery (apparently KT is picking up the slack). As a solution, I am also trying a new exposed by resetting the gauge with the "Battery maintenance" function in the "Power Manager". He has just completed, now it shows 0% instead of 2%. Although the power manager says "100% battery remaining". As I am always online and the computer still seems to work, I guess it's okay. ....?

Still wondering if I need to do something else (besides than the reset of the gauge) to recharge the battery, should I just remove it from the laptop, leave him alone, or must it be replaced?

Have you tried to run a battery meter reset?

Yes. It took my battery of 2% to 0% and now it says 100% fully charged"while saying"consider replacing your battery. " Of course, I do not need to replace the battery because I'm not using it anyway.

While playing some games like The Witcher 3, I noticed that my computer is attractive power adapter can provide.  Thus, the charge indicator start to Flash several colors indicating the same.

I know that some people have suggested buying a 240 watt adapter, but I am not even listed by Dell as an adapter suitable for my system.  Can anyone provide me with the number of the card?  Also, would be that covered by warranty because my computer is only one month (bought from Dell)?

Just a quick follow-up.  Call technical support and less than 10 minutes, they had a replacement AC adapter ordered for me.  FYI, they are suffering on 240 watts now adapters so that they send me a 330 Watt adapter.  If you need an adapter to upgrade, call early to get a big!

  • Battery plugged in but no load and battery life which is at 0%, but the battery is 89-90% charged.

I have a laptop gateway that I bought last year.  It runs Windows Vista Premium (64-bit), and recently it has been send me load/battery indication problems.  The battery becomes a burden, but the battery monitor does not indicate correctly.  I watched it one day and it loaded up to 89-90% and then the battery monitor indicated 0% and not charging.  When I restart the laptop the charge indicates correctly around 89-90% and will show correctly when it is plugged in.  Once he reached 89-90% charge once again it comes back to life 0% battery and plugged in and not charging.  I tried the battery re - learn and when it reaches the level of 89% it stops and shows a surge of battery, but if you restart the pc it will state the cost of 89% and act normal.   I tried the procedure that I saw on this site earlier with the functioning of the battery all the way down and let the pc "die" on its own, but that still does not work.  Is there a problem with the software in the package of windows vista power control?  I saw at least another person having the same problem but have seen no response or resolution for this.  It is not the connection motherboard problem because the thing is load and works normally except when, if you try to load up once he reached that magic level, it indicates a 0% charge and plugged in and not charging.  I have signed up for a profile on this site and have been typing this message with remaining 0% battery Xantrex battery life reading.

Too generic a question, can you clarify considerably more for us? Your question could be reformulated in the following way and always be true?

"I can't start my computer once he has had a BSOD. Something overheated, but I don't know. I removed the CMOS battery and replaced in order to asure me that a bad overclock on a core component has not caused the problem. Now, it restarts correctly, what is / was the problem? »
The foregoing, what I thought you meant. The above statement is correct?
  • laptop battery that went wrong?

I have a laptop Pavilion dv7. It is 18 months old and the (640 GB) HDD crashed. I tokk it to local repair shop and they succeeded him and was told that it was the battery that caused his failure. The battery worked fine for me, but I never noticed anything unusual. My question is the battery maybe the cause of this malfunctio or did just sold me a battery in addition to the hard drive.

This means that all resolve itself?

I can load once a week.

Of course you can do it. You can remove the battery and work on the power current only. Remember, there is no dust on the desktop and the location of the battery in the notebook of stay clean to be used again.

    Hi thang_nguyen!

Another alternative is to double-click the battery icon and when Power Manager opens, click on Advanced Options > Options and uncheck the box "see the gauge of Power Manager in the bar then apply stains.

To access the Lenovo Power Manager when the gauge of Power Manager is disabled, right-click on the Windows icon / energy from the battery in the bar of tasks and you should see "Power Manager".

    I hope this helps!

  • About 9% CPU on X 220 usage Install Clean Windows that slowed while 8

I just installed Windows 8 Pro on my X 220. This is a new installation + updates of windows.

I also installed all the device drivers of Windows 8 published by Lenovo on the X 220 device driver web site. I only installed the drivers, not the utilities.

I don't have any application installed.

When the system is idle, the 'System' process uses always 9% (more or less) of the processor. This has great impact on the battery that lasts only 2 hours now. Previously, Windows 7, that has lasted more than double.

Don't you see the same problem? Any difficulty?

    Thank you!
