  Hi primalb, to see if blocking is caused by one of your extensions, you could try the site Firefox Safe Mode? It is a standard diagnostic tool in order to avoid interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.

The drivers are a "Adaptec AVC - 3610 USB Device" and a "Adaptec AVC - 3610FM USB Device" the latest drivers are version 1.7.2.1100 and are since 2005, but please keep in mind that the Media Center worked and now does not work.

  The really strange thing is that when I do the installation of the remote control, it actually displays an image when analyzing the different channels (it found the picture on channel 3, which is what my decoder issues).

  I have both Outlook 2003 and Outlook Express 2003 loaded on my computer
  Only, I use Outlook Express and have not used regularly Outlook in 5 years.
  I have no problems using Express, (both in the sending or receiving of emails).
  There is no "snap-emails" sent or received in Outlook regular and none in the Outbox.  The same with the Express.
   
  About every month, compresses files Outlook Express and in doing so, the folder sent items do not get compressed, it does not create a new file SentItems.bak and it gives me the error: has SENT the file is currently being used by Outlook or by another application. 
   
  All the time this problem started, I received a number of updates to Office 2003 from Microsoft (probably updates 20-25).  They have installed without incident and that's the only problem resulting, I had with one of the components of Office.

  The sent items folder may have a corruption.  Create a new folder and copy the text in the folder into the new folder.  Then close OE and delete the file sent items.dbx.  OE will create a new.  DBX files should not receive more than a few hundred megabytes or they get corrupted.

  A more effective solution: since you seem to have corruption, it may mean that there are more, if you can set up a new message store by clicking file | Identities.  Then you can add your accounts, use the file | Import | Messages to bring them from the old identity.  Which will remove all corruption.

  Honestly, an external hard drive would be a better choice. The difference between-R and + R/W is only + R is "Writable" and + R/W is "Re-Writable. If you intend to do periodic backups, go with an external hard drive... If you intend to make backups very little, consider DVD + R discs.

  In Windows 7 Enterprise, I would like to point out that, if you map \\server1\share1 as drive letter X using "user1" and "password1", then try to map \\server1\share2 (a different share) as drive letter Y using the same ID "User1" and "password1" and you select 'connect using different credentials' in the dialog box connect a network drive and specify the id "User1" and "password1". you will get this error MESSAGE INCORRECT that says 'the specified network folder is currently mapped using a different user name and password'.

  The message is bad because:

  1. the specified network (action2 in my example) folder is not mapped at all, and

  2. the server (in my example, "server1") is already mapped (to a different and different drive letter share) using the SAME user name and password.

  The error message is wrong in two respects.

  This let me puzzled for a while until I realized that once you have mapped to 'Server1' using the credentials, you can map to different actions on the same server without re - specify the credentials.  It is NOT CLEARLY the 'Map network drives' dialog box, which leads to users (like me, and I'm a programmer by trade) trying to enter credentials again and this incorrect error message.

I tried to "import from digital video camera" using Windows Movie Maker and I still get the same message. I tried to disconnect the 1394 cable and turn on/off several times my camera.   While your DVR camera is connected to the PC via firewire, search Windows Update and install the patches to recommend.
  If you have Windows encode uninstall it
