DVD Movie Maker program overview only 4 of 22 photos
original title: DVD Movie Maker program
I have 22 pictures in DVD Maker file but when I go to preview it will show only 4 photos in a continuous loop?
Why not all 22 pistures will display?
It is a question about Windows DVD Maker, not Movie Maker... but I'll try to help.
You watch the actual movie, or you look at just the menu? Looks like you have chosen an opening animation which is your menu as the DVD player is waiting for you to press Play.
If you do not want a menu (with some of the photos included), then on the first page (the first page where you give the DVD a title), go to the Options in the lower right and choose to ignore the menu and go directly to the film.

How to import video from a DVD movie maker window
Hello J Choi,
1. What is the operating system installed on your computer?
2. what version of Movie maker are you using?
I suggest that you copy the video from the CD on the hard drive of the computer and then import it to create DVDs. Browse the CD and locate the video, copy it to your disk (computer) hard, and then try to import.
You can check the link for more information below:

Hi Michaelle1,
· You did it of any material changes or software on the computer before this problem?
· Do you have any third party media player and codec installed on your computer?
Temporarily uninstall them if you have any third-party media player installed on your computer and check if you are able to import files video .mov in Windows Movie Maker.
Secondly, if you have any third-party codec player installed temporarily uninstall them and check.
To uninstall codec and third-party multimedia player, you can use the Windows Cleanup utility.

Windows Movie Maker plays audio only, from video files downloaded
(I see other, similar types of questions about my problem, but none that fits 'exactly'. So here we are...) Recently, I used the Roxio VHS to DVD software to capture movies at home at my computer. Files saved as .mpg files.
When I tried to use Windows Movie Maker to edit some clips at all, I couldn't see any video (only the audio was playing).
I used the 'compatibility', put options different filters turned off. but this does not work either.
What should I do to solve my problem (and subsequently, to play these videos)?

You are running Windows or Vista Movie Maker 6
Live Movie Maker?Have you tried to save your Movie Maker project
in the format of WMV movie to a folder on your hard drive
disk before importing in DVD Maker?Sorry... I don't have the exact answer, but I know
some questions that may contribute to this problem...(1) using the incompatible sources in the project files.
Several formats are apparently compatible with
Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:Photos - bmp
Video - wmv
Audio - wav, wma, wmv(2) the project is too large and/or complex.
The fix for this would be to create several small
projects and save each of them in the movie WMV
format in a folder on your hard drive. The collected WMV files can then be re-imported
in Movie Maker to bring together in a single
film or they can be imported into DVD Maker
and each comes a scene on a DVD.(3) codec issues.

Well, I was very happy when the program doesn't stop after following your advice and unchecking above named filter. But then, after it scans the file (which is a progress!), he says he cannot continue because one or more of the files contains a codec that is not supported by AutoMovie. I don't even know what a codec IS. I know who was Kojak, and I know what is Kotex, but what the heck is a codec and how do I get one?
