I think the best would be to extract the
images drawn from the Power Point document and import
in Movie Maker / DVD Maker as you
d all other photos.

Just open the Power Point document and go to...
File / save as /. HTML

No guarantee... but the freeware depending on power

Power Point Image Extractor
http://alainlecomte.free.fr/download.htm#PPImageExtractor
to download... left click on the green text:
> Download PowerpointImageExtractor V1.2 (960 KB)

Save the file to your desktop. Open the .zip file and
Drag the file .exe Setup file and drop it on
your office. Double left click the file to install.

Copy your .pps, .ppt file to your desktop.

Open the extractor and left click on the "Load" button

Go to the .pps, double and .ppt file left click...

The software will extract the images and place them
in a folder on your desktop with the same name that
the file.

Good luck...

How to import video from a DVD movie maker window

    Hello J Choi,

    1. What is the operating system installed on your computer?

    2. what version of Movie maker are you using?

I suggest that you copy the video from the CD on the hard drive of the computer and then import it to create DVDs. Browse the CD and locate the video, copy it to your disk (computer) hard, and then try to import.

  • DVD Movie Maker program overview only 4 of 22 photos

original title: DVD Movie Maker program

I have 22 pictures in DVD Maker file but when I go to preview it will show only 4 photos in a continuous loop?

Why not all 22 pistures will display?

It is a question about Windows DVD Maker, not Movie Maker... but I'll try to help.

You watch the actual movie, or you look at just the menu?   Looks like you have chosen an opening animation which is your menu as the DVD player is waiting for you to press Play.

If you do not want a menu (with some of the photos included), then on the first page (the first page where you give the DVD a title), go to the Options in the lower right and choose to ignore the menu and go directly to the film.

You are running Windows or Vista Movie Maker 6
    Live Movie Maker?

Have you tried to save your Movie Maker project
in the format of WMV movie to a folder on your hard drive
disk before importing in DVD Maker?

Sorry... I don't have the exact answer, but I know
some questions that may contribute to this problem...

    (1) using the incompatible sources in the project files.

Several formats are apparently compatible with
Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

    Photos - bmp
    Video - wmv
    Audio - wav, wma, wmv

    (2) the project is too large and/or complex.

The fix for this would be to create several small
projects and save each of them in the movie WMV
format in a folder on your hard drive.

The collected WMV files can then be re-imported
in Movie Maker to bring together in a single
film or they can be imported into DVD Maker
and each comes a scene on a DVD.

    (3) codec issues.

Sometimes, this can be corrected by opening film
Manufacturer and go to the... Tools / Options / Compatibility
tab, and uncheck all filters / OK.

Not an option if you are running Live Movie maker
but you can do it in DVD Maker,

If you're running Vista Home Premium or Ultimate, you can
be able to import files into Movie Maker directly from the
DVD... the files you want are in the VIDEO_TS folder and have

Also... the info is maybe worth a visit:

When you insert the DVD in your DVD player... close

The files you need from the DVD are the. VOB files.
You will find them in the VIDEO_TS folder. Copy them
in a folder on your hard drive.

First... just try to rename one of the. VOB files to

If import works... drag the file to the timeline and
Economy/publication it to .wmv or .avi format. Then...

(FWIW... you can probably play the files renamed

    (2) the updated capture in place according to the manual of Canon, using the firewire interface to download video using Power Director 7 or Windows Movie Maker.
