• Pavilian dv7: DVDWBD TS-LB23L won't write to DVD-R discs

  The drive DVDWBD TS-LB23L in my laptop stopped recognizing DVD-R media.  It works fine with DVD + R discs.  With DVD-R discs noise as it tries to read the disc, but is never able to.  I tried several discs of different brands, but the problem remains.  Don't know if it of coincidence or not, but it happened just after a pushed Microsoft Update.

  Would appreciate ideas.

  Not sure, but it could be linked the wavelength of the laser is more compatible with + R media then withn Virgin r. Also quality of media brand can also influence how well the laser reads the Middle as well.

  I have a HP Pavilion dv7 bought in 2010 runnung win7 64.  The installed DVD is a HP DVDWBD TS LB23L.  This player is compatible with DL discs?

• My ts-tb23l hp dvdwbd dvd drive won't recognise dvd-video.

  I have a hp Touchsmart 610 with windows 7 and the dvd player does not read video however it will play music. HP 610-1020 a TouchSmart desktop PC.  any ideas on why this is. brand new unit.

  do you know if light scribe of envy 17 support?

  I found the lightscribe driver is in site support, but after the installation, he said no hardware found.

  the pilot says is currently

  Although some research google says it supports lightscribe, but I didn't find any official response.

  AGO, has not a Lightscribe on it... its a Blu Ray ROM with ability to read/write to DVD Std...

• Organizer of the 10 items - no audio AND no thumbnails on the AVCHD files

  Hi all

  I'm running Elements Organizer 10 and I see a strange behavior in that, since the upgrade to 10 (of 9)

  -None of my .mts files will play all the sounds in the multimedia browser Viewer and

  -new files .mts my imported in the catalog have no thumbnails

  The files have thumbnails in Windows Explorer.

  I can play the files with sound, using VLC and Windows Media Player.

  Import the files into the Organizer 9 generated thumbnails and audio playback.

  First Elements 10 generates thumbnails of clip and plays audio successfully, too.

  So - it seems to be something very specific to version 10 and the Organizer - computer-not-wide.

  I noticed that playback in Media Viewer browser called the Haali Media Splitter, I installed on my machine.  Thinking that maybe the wrong codec, I uninstalled it.

  I could still play in VLC and WMP, but double clicking in the menu Organizer gave an error message that no appropriate codec has been installed.

  So, I installed ffdshow to see if this avc codec might be used, still no luck.

  Reinstalled latest version of Haali, back to the same behavior (no sound, no thumbnails) in Organizer - everything works fine.

  So, I can work by dragging clips to Organizer on VLC so I can play the video with sound while tagging, but I fear that it does not and that whatever the basic problem will manifest more seriously thereafter.

  Any ideas?

  I was hoping I wouldn't have to UN/reinstall - but that's all I have left.  or call technical support, but it was lower on my list to reinstall...

  I fixed it by

  first uninstall and photoshop elements 10

  Uninstalling haali media splitter

  relocation of first 10 items

  has worked all right out of the thing first Organizer - Update of thumbnail product a miniature, and doubleclick played with his.
