• Flash CS3 Classroom In A Book Page 75 question

  I am very new to Flash. I realized just 2 lesson in Classroom In A Book and go to the last page (p. 75) where it ends in a neat Tip: "To use this animation in other projects, you can copy all the keyframes on the main timeline and paste them into a new instance of MovieClip, you can then place where you want to use it."
  
  Neat trick, but I'm such a beginner, I need the method step by step how to do what he says. First of all, there are a lot of keyframes in this lesson. Then I shift-select each one and then edit > copy to the Clipboard and then paste the contents of the Clipboard in the library somehow? This statement flies just above the head that the book covered not copy keyframes or something like that so far.

  When you insert > new symbol

  the program inserts a special mode called "isolation mode of the" you've probably noticed you were looking for the missing timeline. This is because the timeline you are watching is specific to the new video Clip.

  This allows you to do a lot of complex things for the clip without the main scenario for projects.

  At this point, there is probably an empty picture-key unique on your timeline. This key frame is that you select and then right click > paste the animation that you copied from the main timeline.

  What should happen, is that a new copy of your animation should appear on the stage.

  Savings at this point will save the animation for the new movie clip.

  Video clips are stored in the .fla file if you want to import this clip to a new flash project would follow you these steps.

  You will need to open the advanced options. Inside it to search for an existing video clip. When you click Browse to search for the animations .fla file the system will then shoot you in this library of .fla files, where you can choose movie clip animation.

  Once you click ok, it should get your clip from movie of animation to the new project and place it in your library. You can then click and drag this clip from movie on your scene for use.

  I'm on my way home so I won't check this again for a while. You can read about "isolation mode" and a little more on the video clips in general, they take a little bit to understand, but play a vital role to make the most of flash.

• Cannot add files to the palette book InDesign CS3

  I put a book in CS3. The book was sent to someone to proofread and someone else to the index.

  Two of them were on CS4. The files are back as INX files.

  I could open the INX files and make changes, changes, etc., and save files in INDD files. Files that came back from the corrective work very well. However, files that are returned from the indexer cannot be added to a book palette. When I try to add files INDD created from files INX of the indexer to a range of book, I get a window that says: File_name.indd uses one or more plug-ins that are not currently available on your system. Cannot add this document to the book.

  A bit of work, I've tried about is to get the indexer to send me files within a range of book INX it creates. I am able to open the palette of this book (and I can add documents,) but I get a window indicating that the InDesign Enabler Plugin me is missing and the book palette features will be disabled until I have install the plug-in.

  Any ideas on how I can fix this?

  Hmm. have you tried this sequence?

  1. open the INX files on your system - they will play in a new INDD file.

  2 export to INX.

  3. open this new and save as a "final" file

  It seems not only a more modern version to your use of the indexer (and thoughtfully sent you INX, because your CS3 can't open CS4 files), but a Middle Eastern version as well. Export locally to INX and opening again are a way to purge all unused information of a file; in this case, the file obtained probably exported with the notion of "use the ME Plugin", but it's a fair guess that your files do not need that at all.

• Is there a class-in-a-book for SB CS4?

I purchased the CS4 classroom in a book for many of them, but I can't find one for SB CS4.  In my view, there a SB CS3 Classroom in a book.  This edition would suffice even the content in the dvd included with the book?

  A classroom in a book, I would say that you use a search engine such as 'Google '.  I guess you know the Adobe Troubleshooting Resource Center provides the Soundbooth manual, which is a great place to start if you want to examine the ins and outs of Soundbooth.

  I wonder if anyone can suggest a good book to learn first 10 items, I hope that with the lessons that you do on your computer, you follow along the book.  A book that comes with a CD or DVD that has lessons on this topic, for example, might be good.

• correction of color in CS3

  Sorry for my newbness on that but I'm trying to make sure that I am not cancel my work as a tool in another or duplication.  I recently finished going through CS3 Kelby to book for digital photographers and I'm a bit confused on some aspects of color correction.  It starts with putting you WB, contrast settings, exhibition, etc. to ACR.  Then when you move to ch there you use the curves Panel to color correct.  Of course that implies using the black eyedropper and clicking on the black/more darker area of the photo, similar to the white eyedropper and after a nice little trick to find the right spot... average space for the pipette tones.

  The thing is that I noticed that whenever I do that first click with the black eyedropper, that nice contrast, I had ACR adjustments goes out the window and the photo illuminates a lot.  Stages to put 3 points on the curve and let fall the end blacks and lift the end whites brings him back a little, but I thought is not set the WB with the eyedropper in ACR already color correction?  Even at the end of the book when it goes through its real workflow using a provided example .dng he done all the stuff the cab moves to the PS and uses the Group of curves.

  Many people use Lightroom to take them directly to print.  I do not use the color balance or the position of the black dot on my images in Photoshop in General, after devoting efforts to get the controls applied to the development of the ACR just right.

  The characteristics of curves are there in Photoshop for exceptional situations, but I know that I don't have to use them in a practice setting.  I don't know if anyone will be able to give a stronger response.

• Lightroom 3: how-to books? (no videos or online tutorials)

  When you start a new software, I'd rather have a book of copy paper on my desk that I can browse, read and apply the suggestions that I work with the software. In this way, the many little extra tips and process stick in my mind to help me learn quickly and efficiently and correctly.  That's how I learn best.

  At the beginning of my trip of Lightroom 3, I thought that assistance PDF was the manual, operating instructions for processes using this powerful program.  Even "if it presents step by step suggestions in some cases they are pretty basic, and I think I need a good how-to book, more in depth to be able to make the most of product."  As Microsoft publications call, an inside out book (I use Windows 7).

  To read the PDF help further, I came across a proposed extra help Lightroom 3 Classroom ina Book.  I would like to be able to look through this book online to see if it's the type of book I'm after. Is there a place in the Adobe website where I can do?

  The only book I am reviewing is Vision of David of the path and the voice.  I saw a few chapters of this book online and they show the kind of information I'm looking for.

• Auto align / Erase

  I use Adobe Photoshop CS3 "Classroom In A Book" and on page 169, it describes how auto align two photos (in the example, two close family even, but in a photo portrait a person looking away from the camera and the other, someone will Flash) and then use the eraser to remove the head of the person who blinks, to reveal the other photo below where it its that the eyes open.  Everything seems to work fine as the auto align processes, but when I try to select the Eraser tool, I get a pop up window that says I can't use the "background eraser to erase, because more of a layer is selected".  No idea what I am doing wrong?  Thank you.

  I think you have the answer in the message... Select only layer... one in front.  And that you use the normal Eraser?

• First time user needs help

  I'm new to Flash and works through the Adobe CS3 Classroom in a Book. After one of the lessons, my rectangles are now appearing with rounded edges and I can't understand how to recover a regular rectangle without making a primitive rectangle.
  
  Any ideas? I hope it's just a "duh" on my part, but please help if you can.

  on the one hand, you use a border and its set to display the rounded... so either take off the border (click on your rectangle, look in the properties panel, there will be a small pencil with a box next to it, click on the box and then on the top right click on the red X)... or you can set the border to have a place or not Cape... even proceeded on the same line as the pencil, look to the right, you will see "Cap"...

• Linking Adobe Fireworks to Filezilla

  So I got my recently had my site essexminibuses24.co.uk built, but I would like to be able to change some of the images on the site with Fireworks, I saw an option in filezilla ftp software to set the path of the file fireworks.exe in, so when I click on edit, it will automatically open in fireworks, can someone help me find the path to the Fireworks , so I can get this race. I am running windows vista home edition and I use adobe fireworks cs5. Also tips on creating traces vector in fireworks as I am a newbie on computers. Thank you

  (1) open Filezilla

  (2) edit--> parameters

  (3) modification of the file--> file type associations

  (4) add these lines:

  PNG "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe CS6\Fireworks.exe Fireworks"-open

  jpg "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe CS6\Fireworks.exe Fireworks"-open

  5) click OK

  Now, any jpg or png format can be seen and edited directly in the fireworks by right mouse clicking on a jpg or png file and choosing ' view/edit '.

  Mount the image and save it, you invite Filezilla with a question if you wish to download. Confirming this will overwrite the original on the server.

  HOWEVER: it is a bad idea. Do not work like that. Instead, first download the files you want to edit in a separate folder on your system. Then create a duplicate. Work with the double and when you are finished, save the file as a PNG Fireworks. Export the new version in Fireworks png or jpg format, and then upload to the server.

  This way of working ensures that you don't lose the original, or that you make mistakes, you can't fix. Always work with copies of the original files and avoid working directly with them via Filezilla. Simply viewing the files via Filezilla is not a problem, however.

  If you are a perfect beginner, I suggest that you read a book on the basics of Windows Vista and get the book 'Fireworks CS5 Classroom a book' in.

  However, you must realize Fireworks is an application of dead: it's is no longer actively supported or set developed by Adobe since may, 2013.

• Not opening not QuickTime movie files.

  The video files are Adobe SpeedGrade CC Classroom in a Book, purchased and downloaded from the site Adobe Press yesterday. The latest version of QuickTime is installed, downloaded yesterday as well. I even reinstalled SpeedGrade after that I've installed QuickTime, just in case.

  When the files are located in the Office of SpeedGrade, he saw not the clamp. If I load them, it gives the message: "error opening file". However, I am able to import these files to SpeedGrade via Premiere Pro, and they work fine.   No other QuickTime movie file won't open either. I have files from a Canon 60 d which are .mov I can't use the h.264 codec. They will open in SpeedGrade either (but work perfectly on the first). Other video (.avi) files work just fine and dandy.

  Here are the specs of the computer: laptop Acer, Windows 64-bit, 8.1 i7 2.20 GHz, 12 GB of RAM, 120 GB SSD, Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 M.

  The GPU is recognized by SpeedGrade.

  The problem is resolved. I think it's my duty to describe what happened, I'm sure that someone will suffer this problem again.

  I was helped by the Support from Adobe via Team Viewer. They took only a few steps. The first is to activate the default Administrator account by running the command-line as administrator, and then type "net user administrator / Active: Yes" without the quotes. This enabled them to disconnect my profile and log into the admin profile. Why? I have no idea. Once, they disabled my antivirus program, Avast. All of a sudden, SpeedGrade loading QuickTime files very well. They reconnected to my profile. Avast is still disabled. Correctly loaded files.

  The conclusion was that Avast was blocking QuickTime work properly with SpeedGrade somehow. Once the Team Viewer session has been closed, I opened to the top of the command line and disabled the admin with the same profile but "/ active: No.» I restarted my computer. My profile was once more the only. Avast has been fully activated. No exception has been added to Avast. SpeedGrade always loaded the files perfectly.

  So, my own conclusion? I do not know. I don't know what happened behind the scenes of the computer when these measures have taken place. All I know is that, as far as things seem, all parameters are exactly the same as they were when the problem occurred. Yet, everything is in working order. So if you experience this problem and all else fails, try the following steps. Hell, maybe even just try to disable your antivirus and SpeedGrade running.

  In all cases, the problem is resolved, with the support of Adobe.

• Animation of a curve of hands being developed?

  Ive got a picture of a map of the world and to animate a line slightly curve drawn between two points like the image below.

  Is it possible on board animate? If so, where should I start?

  I would use the cutting tool on a png of the curved line. The head image would be in the upper layer.

  In Chapter 4 of 'Adobe Edge Animate, Classroom a Book' covers a similar task.

• closure of first use program

  Hello world

  I have recently started using 10 PRE and began following the lessons of «in classroom» a book

  No problem when loading files lesson according to the instructions, but still before the end of lesson 1, the program closed its doors.  Message says PRE ends and an option to search for a solution. No solution is coming.

  Since I use the Adobe lesson files I can only assume there must be some conflicts in my machine.

  I realized some of the suggestions given in other parts of the forum.

  Any ideas would be appreciated.

  One of the most common causes for a blockage, or pre crash is an outdated video driver. Special attention to this part.

  Even a simple OS update can make an outdated video driver and pre, unlike almost any other program on your computer, needs to interface closely with the video driver. Do NOT trust your OS, or any utility to tell you if you have the latest video driver. Go to of the mfgr. Web site and make sure to yourself. If there is a newer driver, download and install that, according to the instructions. Reboot and test.

• Cannot add an audio Transition VIA Drag and Drop... Next in the classroom in a book.

  I work through Premier Pro classroom in a book, and I can add audio transitions in all the different ways they ask for.

  Default shortcut as well as through the sequence menu.

  I can't add a drag and drop any kind crossfade. Not between audio or at the beginning or end of the sequence.

  Y at - it a setting that I turned on to turn it off? It seems that since I'm following the examples of book and there was no mention of any weird behaviour that should not be the case.

  We tried a few things and looked in the forums, but nobody seems to have the same problem.

  Running a Mac with El Capitan.

  Video transitions are drag and able to receive.

  OK I found it.

  Looks like I got accidentally audio transition default to 0.01 seconds time in the preferences panel.

  It is in fact a framework - but not a no-brainer.
