DW5.5 PROBLEM of the file tree

In version 5.5 file tree is glitched! Now, set the version control opens instead of the normal display of remote and views! Previously, I had this problem but found how to display two trees of local and remote files at the same time with an unknown dialog box called

View of repository (WTF?) set its version control settings? What is - this / SCIENCE of ROCKET?

I don't need any repository I JUST WANT TO SEE MY FILES THE / REMOTE AS BEFORE. Looks like I'll have to uninstall it and renistall it. Interface Adobe intrusion is a real problem. Can not get the work done for the dialog boxes. Shades of Microsoft. No responses are found in Google. GLITCH!

No need to reinstall. Just click the icon for the remote server at the top of the files Panel.

    Hi JohnABuckley,

    • Are you facing any problem on the computer?

Ntsd.exe is a process belonging to the Microsoft symbolic debugger that lets you debug applications in user mode.

As the link below, it says that there is a risk that Norton Power Eraser can select some legitimate programs for removal. You should carefully review the analysis results page before deleting the files. I suggest that you don't delete the file unless you are facing problems with the computer.

  • Problems importing the files from an SD card to iMovie

After I have import files from an SD card to version 10.1.1 iMovie I have a problem when I eject the SD card then some of the files show just like a question mark (?) and some of the files are saved. I've never had this happen before that I can remember. I was just curious to know if maybe I do some thing wrong, or if there is a problem with iMovie.

    ! 0.11.4 OSX El Capitan.

    iMac late 2012

Looks like you may have ejected from the SD card until all files have been copied to iMovie.  In fact I never use import to all but drag and drop files directly from the SD card mounted to an iMovie event.  This way an id that the files were transferred.

Example, if the file I select in the local file dialog box is justa button on my Panel (under the pop - up), the action for this button is run...

    Thanks for the help,

Hmm... What's not here? When the file in the dialog selected with double-click, and then disappeared with the mouse down, so dialogue, your dialogue control receives the mouse upward:

Double click: mouse-> mouse-> mouse downwards upwards downwards (here missing dialogue)-> the mouse upwards (you got it). Nothing wrong. Can be inconvenient in some cases.

  • a problem with the file i/o functions

    Hi guys,.

    I'm having this problem:

I use File i/o functions im my LabVIEW code to store my data in a text file. First of all, I use "Open/Creat/replace File.vi" function to open my text file. Using the function "Write a file" I write data to the file, and then finally I close the text file by using the function 'close the file.

The problem is that when my LabVIEW program turns that I can't open this text file. My program does not use the file txt during running, so practically, I should be able to open my txt file when it's free (I mean closed). I have no idea why I can not open my txt file.

Any help would be really appreciated.

    Thank you

  • Problem with the file naming

I can change my names of files successfully, mp3s to be precise, uniformly. Windows Explorer or Altap Salamander, there really is no problem with my file name.

The problem starts to appear when I put my mp3s in my playlists (VLC, WMP, media player in my cell phone). The old file name keeps showing even though I have already changed the original/source file.
For example, a song I downloaded bears the title "WTF * Chris Brown-int ' love ' so I changed it to 'Chris Brown - International Love' since that's how I name not all the thousands of my mp3s. But when I added the song to my playlist, the original title is one that appears and not the new. This case is the same with most of my Media Player.
Is it possible for me to keep my desired/preferred file names when using the Media Player files? It's really so frustrating.

Usually, media players like WMP does not show the name of the file of the song, but display the title and artist in the song tags (also known as metadata). To change these tags in WMP, add your songs to the library WMP library, right click on the tag you want to edit, and select Edit.

You can also change the labels of the song with external tools such as Mp3tag.

  • I ran CHKDSK, the report tells me I have problems with the file system, usn journal. ___

I ran CHKDSK, the report tells me that I have problems with the sys file. I ran CHKDSK/F, it is said it fixed the problem but I ran CHKDSK again and it shows that the same listed the issues.

    Describe how you run chkdsk.

That is what the report said: you have problems with the sys file?

CHKDSK examines the disk space and use of the disk for the table of allocation of files (FAT) and NTFS file systems. CHKDSK provides information specific to each file system in a situation report. The report shows the errors found in the file system. If you run chkdsk without the /f on an active partition command line option, it can report errors because it cannot lock the drive. You should use chkdsk occasionally on each disk to check for errors.

If you run chkdsk from a command prompt while Windows is running, it can report errors or it may not report errors - and it may report different
Errors each time you run.  If this is the case, it could just be the way you run chkdsk.

Here's how Microsoft explains this observation:

"... CHKDSK may report that the disc is damaged, even when there is no
current real corruption. This can happen if NTFS happens to modify
areas of the disc on behalf of some programme activities that CHKDSK is
review at the same time. To check a volume correctly, the volume
must be in a static state, and the only way to ensure that the State is
to lock the volume. CHKDSK only locks the volume when /F or/r (which
involves the 'F') is specified. For example, you may need to run CHKDSK more than
time so that it can complete all the steps in read-only mode. »

If you run chkdsk from a command prompt, you are not the necessary static state and you can encounter errors "when no real corruption is present. This is how it works when you use this way.  Any changes made to a NTFS file system modifies the USN Journal.  If you are not in a static state, your USN change Journal probably all the time, so what you see (says something like that) can be quite normal.

Two ways to ensure that you are in a static state is to run chkdsk from the Recovery Console or to schedule a chkdsk to run the next time that the system
Restart by answering Yes to the question:

Would you want to check this volume to be the next time the system restarts?

If chkdsk reports errors when running in a static state, the errors should be investigated, resolved or explained.  This may take several
chkdsk runs all of the issues and some problems cannot be resolved by chkdsk.

If chkdsk runs the next time the system is restarted, the activity and the result will be displayed in the application event log.  Look in the Application log for
Winlogon events and a source have the date and the duration nearby time chkdsk.

It is in fact a chkdsk additional reading if you want to learn about it and it will explain everything you see and why your expectations exceed reality.

Please vote my posts as helpful so I can get a lot of points. I'm saving for a pony!

  • Big problem with the files and Settings Transfer Wizard.

Basically, what has happened here, it is that I did a backup of the files on the computer of a friend with the wizard to transfer to an external hard drive, but I started on the old computer and for one reason or another never get the CD Wizard so I thought that I was OK.  Don't think.  The idea was to have the backup files in case I needed to reformat the drive hard, I ended up reformatting the drive and when I finally got the installation more done with trying to run the file and Settings Wizard and when I chose the external drive that files were on and then subsequently the folder and it said that it did not contain information.  So basically I'm stuck with a complete record of .dat files, and the wizard will not let me extract the files off the drive.  Is there anyway that I can return information about the files, or I'm totally finished.

Everything worked ok that it proved just that he did not want to me to choose the actual file as a path, but the hard drive.  It was just something simple that I pop up.  Thanks for the help but I don't know that it would have been the next problem if I didn't had not updated the operating system first.
