  Can someone give me advice on how to change the component used by a column of table during execution?

  Basically, I want to have a text on column B entry, when the value of the output on column A is in a list of strings.

  Here's the long-winded scenerio:

  I have a table with 2 columns (column A and column B).

  Column A is an OutputText.

  Column B is an InputText.

  The user is only allowed to enter the data in column B, when A column is 'A', 'B' or 'C '.

  If column A is different from 'A', 'B' or 'C', I would like to display an image in the column B which warns the user that they may not enter data in this field.

  I tried to make the InputText read-only, but that doesn't look very good.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  You can add the image component in the same column and use property on af:inputText and af:image to show/hide made them.

  I have a region of report that is displayed on a page with 3 columns. The middle column will be the longest and I want to go to this column. I've read other posts on the forum about it, though, it doesn't seem to work.
  Also is it possible to truncate the display of the output to the user? The column is a varchar2 (4000) and if all the information is filled, the display on the screen would not look professional.

  P1_ITEMNAME = the item on this page to pass a value in

  I'm on OBIEE 11.1.1.7.1.

  I have the following problem.

  I have DISCOVERED called analysis. It has just a column with the result. Simple. Assume that the answer is 2500

  I have another scan which has two other columns, namely GOLD and LOANS. I want to calculate the total DISCOVERED + GOLD + READY.

  That's why I need to pass the value of 2500 of the first analysis of the second analysis via a variable.

  I can not add all three of them in the same analysis there are various filters for OVERDRAFT, and the application of these filters on the GOLD and LOANS gives the desired result. I tried to add filters in the column of the overdraft, but that doesn't seem to work.

  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  Its a dynamic array. We had to access the column header.

  I've solved through hit and trial. If I change the bean has been prominently worn rather than extensive backup of bean, it works. I don't know what is the reason for this, but now it works.

  You can concatenate the columns in SQL by a delimiter, and then use the cut (for example) under Unix to analyze the production line in chips for the script.

  Hey Mini,

  To change the alignment on the fly, you need a change in your IR and javascript.

  First change the columns that you want to change the alignment for. Add the following code in The HTML Expression in the column formatting part. (Detail of the column)

  #HERE _THE_COLUMN_NAME#
  

  Then you can change the easy alignment for these areas with the following code

  $(".align_style").css("text-align","left")
  

  This can be in a DA, or just on the loading of the page.

  I try to call a package Oracle of APEX and must pass the value of a column of IR in this packaging. I tried saying: ADJ_ID but I don't think his pasing anything for the backend.
  Here are the steps.
  1. the user runs IR
  2. There is a column that I put as "ROLLBACK" on this report for each line that has a LINK that calls URLS like

  You must set you page item (as you try to pass by using the method of colon in PLSQL) first

  You can change your link to

  * JavaScript:apex.confirm ("Sure to restore adaptation?", {request: 'SUBMIT', value: {"P1_ROW_VALUE": 10}}); *

  P1_ROW_VALUE is the Page element that you want to set and 10 here is specific to the LINE value

  If you use the "links" section in the report attributes
  and then, something like that would

  * JavaScript:apex.confirm ('Safe to restore the fit?', {request: "SUBMIT", value: {'P1_ROW_VALUE': ' #COLUMN_ALIAS #'}}); *

  Alias_de_colonne is the name of the column you want to set the element with the value.

  I have a link to the column in my report which opens a modal page, now I want to use the value of the column clicked in the page that opens.

  I don't want to put any article on the opening page of the column value of click rather I want to use the value of the column of the click in my sql query.

  for example:

  1 P1 has the report < column link by clicking on it opens P2 >

  2. on page 2, I want to use the value of the clicked column.

  So far, I did

  1 link to page 2

  2. ask - #column_value_clicked #.

  3. in the sql query, I use the same above in the where clause.

  Not really clear exactly what it is you are trying to reach. You want to replace the value of a column in the report with the value of a page element? If so, simply replace the column in the report with a reference to the required page elementquery:

  select
     empno
  , ename
  , job
  , :p2_sal sal -- Replace value of sal column with value of P2_SAL item

  Here's what I did.
  
  I created a page of report interactive (2). In the region of origin, I have the following SQL statement

  In the State of the page attribute section, I created a link in the column on the PUPIL_NAME column.

  Name = IR_PUPIL_NAME
  Value = #PUPIL_NAME #.
  
  I created page 7 in a report. In the source page 7 region, I have the following SQL code

  You can try this.
  Go to page 7, then on the right, click the report area and select Create page element. Type the name P7_PUPIL_NAME and deposited item text.
  Change your report query page 7 as
  Select PUPIL_NAME,
  JOIN_DATE,
  HOME_ROOM,
  HOME_FLOOR,
  HOME_TEACHER
  RESULT
  of T_PUPIL_INFO
  where PUPIL_NAME = NVL (: P7_PUPIL_NAME, PUPIL_NAME);

  On Page 2 changing the link set the P7_PUPIL_NAME element with the value #PUPIL_NAME #.
  Clear Cache 7.

  Run the 2 page now and click the link
