  This problem is a little difficult to describe.

  • Setting fonts/icon sizes
  • I've even entered in Windows Media Center and chose the TV settings adjust the size of the screen for optimal performance and a view while watching TV

  Televisions are designed to stretch the image using Overscan: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overscan

  However, most flat screens have options in their menus to adjust this overscan range.

• How to reference a dynamically created MovieClip from an another MovieClip?

  I would be grateful for the pointers to the following problem:

  I can't reference dynamically created MovieClips (links in a panel side on a Flash site, created from a XML file) from the current MovieClip (the selected link).

  I want to freeze the MovieClip/link to the mouseOver State, once it has been clicked - this part works. When a new MovieClip/link is clicked on, I would like to release the previously clicked on the link to the mouseOver State, which is what I have so far been unable to do.

  My problem seems to refer to the previous link/MoveClip. I used the statement (MovieClip (this) .name) route trace to determine that the clips are named item0, item1, item2 and so on. However, I was unable so far to reference the previous item so far. I tried to follow the route to the MovieClip on the stage and also essaye.item0.gotoandstop MovieClip (parent) and a lot of other different permutations, but nothing helped. It's the fact that they seem to be in a container called "panel", which is defeat me.

  Here's a live version that I downloaded, what could explain the problem better. Click on "UBER EACH" in the menu bar to access the page in question. It is the links on the left side (history, team Unser, etc.) who are the problem. You will see that once they were clicked, they stay in their mouseOver State.

  What you might be after for this line is to use:

  lastClickedLink = MovieClip (event.currentTarget);

  For what you show, the name property of an object is a string, so I expect get you an error regarding trying to get a string to act as a MovieClip when you try to say to gotoAndPlay ('s2').

  Since you are using NI-CAN, series 1, which does not support no matter what Self-reception, I assume you are using two ports CAN... make your normal transmission and the other to listen to the frames of the CAN bus?

  If this is the case, the only option I see for you would be to compare the charge received with the load transmitted to detect the images you send. This will only work if you send and receive different payloads, but it's probably something that's generally true. If it is false, then you really have no good option with the 1 series (or even series 2) and NI-CAN.

  We have a different product, OR-XNET, which provides a forum for independent reception (such as series 2 NI-CAN), but when you receive the framework that it contains a flag that indicates if it was received from the network or received through self-reception.   You specified columnStretching = "multiple" for the TreeTable. The value "multiple" waits stretch columns have width specified as percentages (but your column has no such specified width). Specify the width in percentage for that column (for example width = "70%") or simply set columnStretching = "last" for the TreeTable (for as much as you have a single column).

  arkadyz, thanks again for the helpful answers. Finally, I created a small sample to get to the bottom of this issue and it turns out that the onFocus method is called onDisplay. In our class, the onDisplay was substituted and only called super.onDisplay for 4.2.1 and 4.3.0 4.5.0. Devices etc. 4.6.0 4.7.0 and 5.0.0 the super.onDisplay never been called, and therefore onFocus was never called. After calling super.onDisplay on 4.6/7.0 and 5.0.0 the onFocus now seems to be called correctly.
