E-MAIL boxes separating Smartphone blackBerry, not just SMS and email

Is it possible to configure the phone so that you have 2 account emails to go to separate folders? I have my work account (desktop) and my personal Gmail account on the phone, and I wanted to keep the separate messages. How can I do this?

Thank you

You know, I did some reading, and people said there is really no way to do it. There may be a way to do with message filters, which I do not know how. But the only way that people have done by downloading themes for their phone that separates them. Maybe someone can help you make filters for them, but that's all I can do for you. Sorry.

I had this problem with my previous BB and thought that the software crashed.  Upgrade to a 790 "BOLD" I always have this problem.  I talked to tech support, they say that everything is ok on their side.  I took my phone, the tech at the MTN shop checked, corrected my center number.

Still NOTHING.  I can send text messages and emails, but cannot receive any.  Those who sent me mails or messages says their phones shows it was delivered.

  • How can I get my photos from Windows Gallery to view and print in color, not just black and white?

How can I get my Windows Gallery pictures to view and print in chiputa, not just black and white?

    Hi Petergrossman,

Welcome to the Microsoft Vista answers Forum!

I need few details about the question you posted.

    * What are the name and model of the printer?
    * You receive driver updates for your printer through Windows Update?
    * The printer prints the other applications in color?

In the meantime, try the following steps.

    1. try to print the default pictures in Windows Photo Gallery and check if you get a printing color.

    2. try to uninstall the printer driver and reinstall it.

Also check the setting of the color of the printer. Go to printer settings and make sure that you have selected the option to color.

To print a picture, follow these steps: -.

If you have a printer connected to your computer, you can make prints of digital photos. The quality of your photos depends on several factors, including the type of printer paper, ink and the settings of the printer of your choice. You can control many of these settings when you print the picture, but keep in mind that the overall quality and resolution of the digital picture you are printing will affect your final result.

    1. open Windows Photo Gallery by clicking on the Start button, all programs, and then clicking Windows Photo Gallery.

    2. click on the image you want to print.

To select more than one picture, hold down the CTRL key while you click the pictures that you want to select.

    3. on the toolbar, click on print and then click on print.

    4. in the print pictures dialog box, select the printer, paper size, qualite quality print, style print and number of copies to print.

    5. When you have finished choosing how you want to print your photos, click Print to start printing.

Choose printing options follow these steps: -.

Before you send a print job to the printer, decide if you want to print all or part of the document or Web page. You may, for example, annotate the pages to print or select a part of a document before sending it to the printer.

Here are common printing tasks to consider:

    1. to print that a hollering part of a document or a file, make a note of the page numbers for each page you want to print.
    2. If you want to print part of a page or a Web page only, select the content to print before printing.
    3. If you want to print a specific page, click anywhere on the page before choosing the print options for the document.
    4. the page that you clicked becomes the current page and you can print it by selecting this option in the print dialog box.

After deciding what to print, choose how the print copies should look, and then select a printer.
    Use print preview

To see what the print will look like before you print it, open the document in a program that offers a preview before printing. Print preview is generally located in the file menu of a program. You should be able to get an overview of each page of the document. In some programs, you can choose print in preview mode options and then print directly from the preview. In other programs, you will need to close the preview, change the document or your printer settings and print.

If you preview or print a document, and it does not appear the way that you intended, you will need to change the document or change your print options. For example, if one part of your document fits on the printed page, you may need to reduce the font size, reduce the margins, or change the page layout and then try to print again.

  • BlackBerry smartphones, adding emotions (Smileys) for SMS and email

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Emoticons are built in the Messenger. Its on display the symbols.

I don't think there is an option for e-mail. There is maybe a third party add in. Try a search on Google!

If this answers your question, please take a few minutes to address the message by using the options of the KUdo Star.

  • My bb 9380 blackBerry smartphones does not "just bought it.

I bought a blackberry curve 9380 Frankfurt and the i came to Egypt and I tried to open it, I opened would'nt, I tried to charge it and I tried to connect it to my pc, the glowing kept led then it turns off then a battery reappears with lightning inside her and the same everywhere... any ideas?

Hello and welcome to the community!

Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the whole 4h15m process, your BB should stay connected to a good charger (not the USB PC):

    1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
    2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
    3. Remove the battery
    4. Wait 15 minutes
    5. Insert the battery
    6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

    1. Get a known good and already fully charge battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
    2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem.

Good luck and let us know!

  • Email to Smartphones blackBerry not left on server

Just got my BlackBerry.  When I get e-mail, there is not on the mail server, so I am not able to see it on my desktop computer.  I can't find a place to check

    Any help greatly appreciated

Exactly the thing was happening to me, but it was not all emails, only those of the same person. I realized what was going on in my case. What I was not receive in my pop account - just on my BB has the answers to the original email I sent with my BB. During the composition of the email on BB there is an option 'Send to help' at the top. Mine was on [default]. It must show the email address I use in my pop account (ie:[email protected]). Because the original e-mail sent on BB via [Default], not [email protected], my aol server has not actually received it. BB did. Once I corrected the "send to" I started to receive emails on my pop account once more.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry not charging on PC

My battery drains, and I connected it to the PC via the USB port.  It has been sitting there for about 3 hours now.  The red light is on but the phone does not illuminate.  There is no indication that the phone is charging or the other.

Can someone help me with this problem?

If the battery is completely drained, then you will not be able to load it via your PC.  You will need to plug it into a charger for BlackBerry (note, another wall Chargers may not work when the battery had been fully drained).

Your computer can only charge the battery on your BlackBerry, if she still some level of support.

I hope this info helps to explain why it does not work.

  • Smartphones blackBerry 'not found search location.

Is anyone know why this dialog box. Search location not found"continues to appear every time I have to travel on my 9670 flip phone? BTW, I know that my phone is old, it is even more figure on the list of the devices on this site; However, I like the small size & I don't "booty-dial" anyone... But this current issue is inconvenient & distracting. What can I do to make it go away?

It appeared all day July 7, until what I took out the battery & it left aside for a while. Since then, I have not had a problem (weird?). And no, I had not knowingly tried to access all the associated gps apps, at least not during a week before. But thanks for the reply. I hope that this will not happen again.

  • BlackBerry 8300 Smartphones do not receive SMS messages

Well, my Blackberry has been upward since Sunday, do not receive SMS not, deletion of my Inbox all, very slow execution times and loading is painful.

I thought it might have been a problem of memory, so I removed my pictures and deleted all my emails that are not needed, but yet I don't receive SMS messages.

Anyone got any ideas here? I really don't want to send my phone off for repair, so if there is a simple solution, I would be grateful. I have far too many people form calls, thinking that I am ignorant, I do not answer to their messages.

    Thanks in advance,

    Sean

  • BlackBerry smartphones, I can't in my sms and email messages

It's happened several times, somehow my BlackBerry won't let me enter my e-mail or sms and shows me a message that says: Eception exception: DSSMA: State not valid (5): 10

What should I do to stop what is happening?

Please I need your urgent assistance.

    Thank you very much

Hello and welcome to the community!

There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

If it doesn't boot properly, then you need to try Safe Mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in safe mode

There may be a code updated to the value of the carrier - check out them through this Portal:

The toughest possible causes are a bad application behave. To find it, there are two options. Is to see if you can read the log file:

Go to the home screen. Hold down the "alt" key and type "lglg". (You won't see anything as you type). This will bring up the log file. Scroll down (probably a lot of pages) until you see a line that says "eception execption. Click on this line. The application name will be in the info. Alternative methods to implement the newspapers are in this KB:

    • KB05349 How to activate, view, and extract the the event logs on a BlackBerry smartphone

The other method is to remove the apps one at a time, wait a while between the two (I usually recommend a week), until the problem stops... revealing the offending application. Yet another method is to recharge the BB OS itself, leaving little time between the addition of other applications on the BB in order to be able to determine exactly what is the cause.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry to take apart and put back together.

No, I don't mean remove the physical device.

My company (finally) made me a Blackberry (Bold 9650) so I could learn to do things like it backup, restore and so immediately and (better) to provide technical support for others.

So, I would like to know:

    1. how to back up my Blackberry?

I have e-mails, contacts and appointments calendar and your Internet favorites.

Would I need (as I believe...) to connect the device to a computer via a USB cable and somehow save these items on the computer?

Is it a synchronization for this software?

I guess I want to reverse the process above.

    3 secure wipe

Some time ago, in another section, I was told that it would probably be necessary, if a Blackberry into a movement of one BES/BPS server to another, to wipe the device and then turn it back on.

Wipe the unit would, I guess, delete the personal data, hence the master back to the top and restore operations.

What a wipe erases exactly (and what don't we not delete)?

    4. What is (re) activation after a wipe?

Wiping the Blackberry does include eliminating the activation information (I guess for that), it seems that I have to reactivate with my ISP (Verizon, in my case), correct?

Now, I won't do this 3 times a week, every week, but can I reactivate my Blackberry as I want? I just call Verizon like I did at the beginning?

    Hello

Yes, the subject line is a little off the mark! I'm afraid that some people may not even venture into your thread accordingly. However...

Hmmm... I'm not sure on the migration of one BES to the other, but I know that a WIPE has no effect on the it policy. I don't know if the migration to an another BES replaces the policy of IT or not. Nevertheless:

Reactivation as with the carrier. For the Association, is a lack of prejudice no-fault to reactivate with them. Simply dial * 228 and select Option 1 (then again and select Option 2). You don't really have to call and talk to them because your BB is fully registered on their network the first time you activate... on CDMA networks, there is much more "hardcoded" into the network (where the greatest difficulty taking CDMA devices and use them on another CDMA network).

  • BlackBerry Smartphones SMS and email icons

Is it possible to separate the two?

It is not a big problem, but I was wondering

    Nytnurse40

If you mean, can you have an icon for SMS/MMS and a separate one for Messages, the answer is Yes. In the application Messages (with the list of messages displayed), click on the BB button and select Options > Options of the. Scroll down just a bit for 'SMS and E-mail Inbox' and change that to "separated".

  • Sync of Smartphones blackBerry with vista calendar and address book

Hi, I am new to the Blackberry curve 8310 and Windows Vista.  I can't get my info from my Blackberry to engage contacts and the timing of Vista because it is not recognized by Blackberry.  Any suggestions are appreciated!

Hello. I am afraid that I did not understand all options regarding the synchronization of my 8310 with Vista calendar still; However, I had success sync my Blackberry with Contacts in Windows Vista, the other day.  After you load the Blackberry Desktop Software, go and click on synchronize, and then click the Configuration tab.  On this tab, click on the button "configure Synch... ».  This brings you to a screen that allows you to choose which office program you want to use to synchronize your info.  Select address book and then click on the "Settings" button... ».  Select Microsoft Outlook Express and click on "next >".  Select what kind of synchronization that you want to perform (if you want a clock 2 channels or just for the synchronization from your phone to the computer or the computer to the phone) and click on "next >", and then finish.  Go out and return to the Configuration tab, click the Sync tab and tap sync now.  Even if you have selected Microsoft Outlook Express for synchronization, to synchronize automatically with Windows Contacts for Vista.  (Or at least mine did).  I hope this helps!
