E20 My Contacts

Hello.

If I add a contact to 'My contacts', I can't remove it from there.

Steps to reproduce:

1. go to the corporate directory

2. enter contact information

3. choose 'add to Favorites '.

4. confirm the dialog box

5. go into 'my Contacts '.

6. choose newly added contact

7. enter in the details

8. choose 'delete favorites '.

9 confirm

10. check 'My contacts', contact are still there!

They could only be removed through CLI.

Yes it will always be there that you've deleted the contact of the Favorites, but not "my Contacts".

To remove the existing contact entry.

1 - Go to my contacts.

2 - Select the contact you want to delete.

3 - Select "change details".

4 Select "delete contact."

It will help us to remove the entry from my Contact.

  • E20 hang with Sip Config - TE4.1.1 - Strange

    We see that some of our E20 - most of them on the internet is suspended as soon as endpoint is started.

    If the end point is without a network cable, then the E20 is stable.

    If the SIP configuration is deleted, the E20 is stable.

    As soon as we put in the SIP config and records the E20 on SIP, the unit freezes.

    The recent change you speak may cause some E20s crashing. There is an open on this default:

    When we are challenged on a presence SIP subscribe message, the E20 crashes. When this happens, you will see a message like "SUBSCRIBE SUBSCRIBE got proxy-challenged in 407 authorization."

  • TC7 contact list import

    Someone at - it something for bulk import/export of local contacts stored on one point endpoint TC7?  I found this link https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11553236/cisco-e20-custom-pho... but it comes to connect as root, which is not available in TC7 without the help of TAC.

    As I say in this discussion, there is not a way to do this.  It might be possible if you can talk with TAC and to gain access to the account remotesupport, with that said I am not sure what is available with this account and if it would be possible to make changes to the local telephone book in bulk.

    I'd be fine if they would allow us to make changes in block of the local telephone directory via the web interface, including import and export.

    Try to get itunes working to make a backup of my faulty iphone before repair.

    First-itunes does not start says error. I'm trying to fix it, who said success but same error when you try to start it.

    Go into the Contacts application and ensure that it uses the same account synchronization like the iPhone and other devices you may be using.

    Also check the part of the accounts of the Contacts application preferences and make sure that it's only using one account.

    I just bought a new 128 GB iPhone 6 seconds more and it's now the latest version of the iOS 10.0.2 software executing.  I've used other platforms (Android, BlackBerry) and I miss one features are the ability to have only sound important contacts through notifications, but all others are silenced.  It is very convenient when it is at work or out with friends that I get constant, a beep or vibration but am able to know immediately when, say, my child or my boss of messages me.  The boss and the child have iMessage, if this is relevant, but others are on different platforms, so I hope that I can set up in general.  E-mail applications that I use the most are iMessage, BBM, text, Facebook Messenger more telephone calls.

    You can use a do not disturb to reduce to silence the alerts. You can configure specific contacts so that alerts text for them always come. Go to the contact you want to implement. Press "Edit" at the top right. Type your text. At the top of the list is "Bypass of emergency." Turn it on. Tap done. Tap done again.

    You can also do the same for calls.

    Not disturb will silence the alerts to third-party messaging applications. I don't know of any way around that.
