• Another Centro do not recognize a microSD card

  Hello, I'm getting ready to use NVBackup on an AT & T Palm Centro, and I have problems with getting a new SanDisk 1 GB micoSD card to be recognized by the Centro.  It comes to the environment: Office WinXP with latest Palm PIM; last HotSync; latest version of the Centro software; new microSD card from SanDisk 1 G; NVBackup v1.22b9; a single user name of Centro; 60.3 M 68.8 M of free space on the Centro.

  Action taken:

  1) bought the SanDisk card today at Circuit City.

  (2) Insert the card in the Centro.

  (3) absolutely no indication that I inserted anything.  I might as well have inserted a popsicle stick.

  4) took the card out and used a machine WinXP to confirm the card was formatted FAT, nothing on the card, created a MICROSD volid, created a unique directory of DCIM just to prove that I could write on the card.

  (5) put the card back in the Centro and still no indication of any card being installed (no notification of insertion, said CardInfo No. card inserted, the Palm install tool does not indicate an option of installing an adapter instead of the Centro.

  ((6) I've synchronized between 3) and 4) and 5 and 6), all to nothing does not.

  ((7) I did a soft reset after 4) and before I made 5).

  All this is to prepare for use DBFixit to repair a database and set up a backup scheduled on the SD card in the future.  I am trying to solve a problem of database with my wife Centro, so take the go/DBFixit/NVBackup approach.

  Any ideas on what to try?  I'll probably try another brand microSD card just for drill.  Any chance the card 1 G is really too small?  Will I get a 2 GB card next?  I'm running out of ideas on what to try.  Thanks for any help.

  Did you do as suggested and renamed the folder /Backup, Hard Reset, then HotSync?  My Centro has zero problem with the Micro SD card of 4 GB that I use, made by SanDisk.   Just because you have apparently removed three applications does not mean that the problem file disappeared!  It is probably a file system that is messed up.

  Is your setting of conduit for "Backup" on the right "Pocket replaces Desktop?

• Track numbering on MicroSD card

  My rocket is playing tracks in the wrong order in Album mode. But this problem is present only for the tracks on my microSD, not those of the main memory. When I go to the file information, it shows a weird number for the track #. For example, Nine Inch Nails Ghosts I - IV, 1 track, 1 Ghosts I, is declared as the track number 136 instead of 1 in the file Info and 2 ghosts I like track 236, instead of channel 2. But he said that the bonus track 37 ghosts is track 37 so it appears before all other tracks, rather than after them, where it should be.

  I found the answer to this little problem. When the variable 'Part together' is different for the different tracks on an album, the tracks will be out of use. And as I said, this problem only occurs with the titles on the MicroSD card, but when you move the footsteps on main unit the problem disappears. So I just changed data "part as a whole.

  Hi I have a PC that goes over six years and would like to know how to start on a MicroSD card from office of 410t HPE. I am able to boot from a USB key by pressing and holding down the ESC key on startup to select the boot device and my USB flash drive appears in the list of bootable devices, but my microsd card does not appear in this list. Is there anyway that I can boot from the microSD on this computer? Thank you.

  Sorry, but you can start only off the coast of devices that appear in the selection of start menu.

  If it is not there, it can not be used at startup - and SD cards are a common problem in this regard.

  However, there is microSD adapters / USB (I have one of my cards), and if you don't find one of those, you might be able to start using a USB port.

  According to the fast flow 11 card, it supports SD/SDHC/SDXC.

  Micro SD SDHC cards are generally 4-32GB and SDXC are much more important. I think that the most important, that you can buy occupies approximately 512 GB.

  So it isn't a heading of size, but besides what is currently manufactured in SD cards, and as long as you use the above formats, then it will be compatible with the flow of 11.

  I just read that the Droid 3 comes with 16GB internal memory and it's on PCWorld. No microSD card slot and no 32 GB of the Droid 3 version. What is happening with this?   the SD card under the hull back and on this one, you can actually remove and put it back without removing the battery, which is very convenient. It is located on top of the stack and no slot so its easy to enter and exit while keoping your phone. you just take it apart > delete > back > come up again.

  From what I can find between various messages to forums, the Lenovo TPTs have SDHC is supported, which would provide support up to a 32 GB microSD card. Currently, I'm unable to locate all documentation that support SDXC in TPT2.

  I tried to reproduce what you experience on the device, but have been able to copy files on the SD card without any problems successfully. How do you try to move the files? I didn't go in Astro Manager of files, search for a file on my Tablet and tap and hold on the file and select copy. Then, I went to the SD card in Astro, the directory I wanted to copy to and you click on paste. You can try and see if it works? If this is not the case, my best advice would be to try another SD card.

  There are some instructions step by step on the site, but basically you check out the file "update.zip" download, copy to the root of a FAT32 formatted microSD card, then start in recovery mode (press one of the volume buttons [which it depends if you are landscape or portrait mode] and hold, then the power press and hold). From there, you can choose to update in the zip file it finds on the map.

  It is important before you have the correct version of the update, it's different for different regions of the world, and you will not be able to upgrade the (for example) Brazil version from the US site.

• 128 - GB MicroSD card does not work with the new Clip +.

  My old Clip + (black, 8 GB) was getting very long in the tooth, so I ordered a replacement off Amazon.  As far as I know, it is identical to the old, but a very unpleasant difference is presented - it does not work with the MicroSD card which has been a huge part of why I got a Sansa at all.  He acknowledges, but after a media updated I'm lucky if more than one album appears.  And that's what's so crazy!  You just blow through the update in a few seconds, and when I navigate on the map, there is nothing or a handful of albums random, orphaned.  That's happened?  I updated the new Clip + for the current firmware (as I had done with previous); I made sure to reproduce all the parameters that I would be put in place before--I can't imagine what could be the cause!

  The card is formatted in FAT32 with the same sector size in storage aboard the player (32 768 bytes).

  A 64 GB card format works even without any problem.

  I tried to update the media in MTP and MSC mode; the problem is the same in both.

  There is ample space for MTABLE. SYS - I have not yet loaded all the music on the Clip + itself.

  Rockbox plays the card without problem, but the sound quality is horrible (at least on this player; I'm sure that other versions sound best), and its interface is a headache.  No thanks.

  HM.  Looks like to run CHKDSK /F on the map the problem resolved!

  At present, the greatest, you can buy is 16GB and will work with the "rocket".

• Great clip! What is a microsd card? Is this possible?

  I am owner of a clip of 2 GB and I have never had any problems with it. My daughter has the "rocket" of 8 GB and it's cool, but nothing like the video for many reasons.  Is it possible to make a clip with a microsd card expandable memory?  Of course, it would be a new invention from sandisk, with a small player and firmware just curious and shouting the idea if this is possible.

  I doubt that SanDisk will add MicroSD card capacity. Yah, it would be nice, but I wouldn't hold your breath waiting.

  The good news is that you can get up to a Clip of 8 GB these days. I think that Wal-Mart is still for less than $70. or so.

  .. .and I heard talk of a possible model 16 GB.
