EA4500 block an IP on its own!

Somehow my EA4500 has started to block a specific IP.

I can access this IP address if I plug my modem directly, but not when I access Internet via the rounter.

The IP address is for a Web site, I was successful!

Anyone has any ideas on what to do? I have to reinstall the firmware? The configuration file will contain the block if I reinstall the firmware and restore the config?

I have not all sites blocked based on the interface of the router.

Any help/advice appreciated.

Dave

I have reset the default router by pressing the button Reset red for 30 seconds then he is running, has continued to hold it down for 30 seconds after turning the power on power off and I still continued to hold it for 30 seconds after having fed up.

And then restored my setup of the saved file.

Works fine now.

Somehow he made a blunder, and only gods know why...

Thank you

Dave

Update your browser Firefox 9 first

Make a check of malware with some scan of malware programs. You need to scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program. Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database prior to scanning.

    Hey stueve2002,

I'm sorry that you run in the no power problem! The first thing you want to check is your power cord. If the AC adapter is good (and it is plugged into a wall outlet good), turns the light on the computer next to which connects regardless of the State of the rest of the computer. Let me know if this (see the example below image) light or not.

If it's light off, try a different outlet. Try one that has a work lamp or other device currently connected. If you have one available or try this adapter to another computer to see if it will fuel another computer, try another AC adapter. Check the connection of the DC end of the power cord in the power brick (big block in the middle of your power cord). Shake it and listen to the sounds of rattling. Check the entire cord for any damage.

If this light is on, you see everything for example Caps/Num Lock lights flashing lights? If this isn't the case, does nothing when you press the power button? Don't you hear the fan, hard drive and the optical drive from spinning? The bright light? Nothing flashes on the screen?

If you see signs of life at all (rotation of the fan, etc.), you can try to connect the computer on a secondary monitor to see if any picture on this subject.

You can also try reinstalling the RAM. If you have more than one stick, try to use just one stick at a time in each slot to rule out the possibility of a bad location.

Let me know what you find. I'll keep an eye out for your answer

  • Acer E3-111 maintains close on its own. What is causing this malfunction?

Acer E3-111 keeps blocking down on its own. Stopped after 45 minutes running. Order 10 minutes running. Stop after 5 minutes running. Stops immediately after pressing the Start button / stop. This happens with or without current battery. Battery is fully charged the last time I was able to take a glimps before his stop. Complete model is Acer E3-111 C9NY.  Operating system is Windows 10. The touchpad does not work. I am unable to update firmware or the BIOS due to the unit to stop. I'm more concerned by the problem of closure than the touchpad. Just thought it might be related somehow. I know there are some GURU here which may help me. Solutions would be great. I have troubleshooted more that I can troubleshoot without booting the operating system or BIOS.
Also, I checked with the support of Acer to see if there was a recall on this model, and nothing does not appear through the Web site.

I think that maybe it's the Panel control, but not sure. I also tried the reset button on the bottom, while the battery was still on and still the same problem.

It remains lit until the display puts wotking, and then stops. It's the graphics chip or the HARD drive.

I don't know if you tried with just the HARD drive out. If the HARD disk is ok, you need a motherboard.

  • Pavilion dv7 - 4183cl laptop turns off its own

My Pavillion dv7 - 4183cl laptop turns off its own without any warning or error messages and then restarts asking power on the passsord, etc. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium. Occurrences are more frequent over time.

The first thing I would check is your laptop fan. You hear it works while the laptop is on, or it is disabled? If the fan fails, the laptop overheats. To protect themselves, the laptop turns off. It could also be that you have little dust blocks the air fan. The best option is to have someone to disassemble the laptop and clean, but some people have managed with the help of compressed air. The problem with this is that it blows back into the laptop. Perhaps vacuum?

A farily common problem with most laptops is the integrated graphics processors. Over time, the GPU becomes disattached from the motherboard. If this happens, the laptop will be closed or does not start at all. Generally however, there isn't a lot of attention if that is the case, the computer stops working one day.

  • Infected w/Spyware, etc? Keyboard typing on its own.

Hello everyone, I am new to this site and a novice in computer science. Lately my computer makes a beep when you tap email, Word or even search engines. Once it beeps, the keyboard no longer work more, or more often it starts to type many characters on its own. Very frustrating and I am at a loss of how to get rid of it, but also how it could have been infected in the first place. I ran ComboFix first and can provide a newspaper if need-be. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

In addition, I ran MalwareBytes before and here were the two topics with which he kept coming:

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\scrfile\shell\open\command\ (Default)
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\regfile\shell\open\command\ (Default)

This sound signal as being due to the blocking of the system or frost and it's sound motherboard. What I think, is that while you type a reason any PC cling and stop working and you might not notice and you pressing the keyboard or press the key on the keyboard to solve the problem and when it released to hang it then wrote to evertything you have entered but doesn't not visible here.

I suggest to check the update and make sure that everything is updated and you have the latest Service Pack for Windows.

  • my laptop stops on its own

recently, I downloaded some games from mostfun.com and everything was perfect for about a week, then my computer just started blocking down on its own and incidentally I don't get error down and all just poof, he's going he first flicker a small last thing so far it's just when I know im running one of the games or a movie I downloaded the logical thing in East to remove these i I want to just make sure that its not something else

It seems that the laptop may be overheating.  Are you sure there is enough air past for laptop?  Make sure that it is on a flat surface, with nothing to obstruct the ventilation openings.  Make sure that the vents and fans and heat sinks are free from dust - examine their blowing with compressed air (power of the system first, of course).  Depending on the laptop model, it may be relatively easy to blow off the dust with compressed air, or otherwise clean up things a bit.   Fans should be kept up well - only no right turn when being ripped off.  My Dell laptop has a removable fan (two small screws need to be removed) that can easily be blown.  This also allows access to the fins of the heatsink.

Some laptops also have a removable filter that traps the dust and must be regularly inspected and cleaned.

Are all the BIOS settings for the adjustment of the temperature, the value lower than the manufacturer's recommendations and the default values (you need to check the manual of your laptop for this).  Also make sure you run the latest version of BIOS (again, the manual of your laptop would have the details; the manufacturer's website should also have this information).

  • New installation question on separating the VM on its own partition

Currently, I use fusion 3 and my operating system on an external drive.  I will get a new computer with a 1 TB internal drive and want to move the OS on this drive but asked to know if can I partition the new disk so that the guest operating system will be isolated from the Mac operating system or can I simply move the file to a folder on the Mac OS? Is there a security advantage by putting the score of guest operating system on its own isolated because Windows has so many questions compared to OSX?

A Fusion VM in its own beam is entirely contained in the virtual disk container (hard).  It does not matter from a security perspective if you partition your 1 TB drive. HFS + partitions before you bought some time protection against the loss of an entire volume based on corruption.  This does not happen so much now.  Another reason could be to take advantage of smaller block of file sizes, but a 1 byte file is 4 KB on my 120 GB and my 1 TB drive. Invariably, you will want to use all your disk without worrying about how much space is left in separate partitions, so if you have not to there is no advantage of partitioning.

The only type of virtual machine that requires partitioning is Boot Camp, since it is the machine how dual boot the second operating system.

    Hello Kluggerjo,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community Support from Apple. I know how important it must be able to count on your devices work as expected, and I have a few steps that should help resolve the behaviors you see.

I would recommend to go by resetting your management system (SCM) controller. MSC helps control and regulate different material on your Mac, including Bluetooth systems.  This article will guide you in this process: reset the management system (SCM) controller on your Mac.

If you still experience the issue after the test, you can test the behavior to a test user. This will help us to determine if the problem is systemic or isolated to your user account. This article will guide you in this process: How to test a question in another account on your Mac user

If the behavior is duplicated to the test user, I'd recommend reinstalling El Capitan. This will not delete your data. To reinstall using the recovery mode, take a look at this article: How to reinstall OS X

If you experience any problems or have any questions, please let us know. The entire community is here to help.

  • selectingitems and trackpad pointer moves its own

I was watching a video of Amazon and may have struck a couple of keys, or my hand slipped in the keys - I don't know, but pointer froze on the follow-up to the film bar at the bottom of the screen (not sure if this is relevant, or what is called in fact this bar) in all cases, the pointer froze and then began to move erratically in bursts on the screen , selection of apps, ibooks, photos, etc. and then OPEN them as if I had clicked. Literally goes haywire as if it had a life of its own. I have NEVER experienced this during the 11 years that I've had the Mac laptop. I don't know if trackpads wear out (my current MacBook Pro is a vintage 2012 and I debated update, but it was working very well.) I wonder how to clean the dust/debris under keys because I know it can be done and I was wondering if something got under the trackpad (seems pulled by the hair) but it's really another question for me to continue. Any help on trackpad possessed pointer would be appreciated. I don't see that this issue anywhere else... - Pam

Remove the bottom plate and inspect the inside.  Pay attention to the battery to see if there are signs of expansion.  If so, take it out and have a new installed.  An extended battery can affect the trackpad.

If no success, make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar for a FREE evaluation.

    Ciao.

  • Firefox has its own flash player so I can delete adobe?

I would like to know if firefox has its own built flash player, like adobe a safety risk and I would delete it please.
    Thank you.

Unfortunately, no, for sites that require Flash, it isn't really good substitute.

Earlier today, Adobe has released an update to solve critical problems, he admitted were in the 18.0.0.203 version. You can get 18.0.0.209 on this page:

    https://www.Adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

In the first table, find the row corresponding to "browser plugin", and you can use either the EXE or the MSI installer.

To ensure that the Setup program can remove the older version, either out of Firefox or close all the tabs using the Flash before you do the update.

That said, the Flash can still have secret flaws that have not yet come to light. In fact, it seems likely enough. Until this ordeal of previously unknown security flaws shakes, you might want to try this and see how it fits. To set the Flash "Ask to activate", after you have reinstalled it, open the page modules using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click on Plugins. Search 'Shockwave Flash' and always change 'enable' to 'ask to activate '.

Then when you visit a site that wants to use the Flash, you should see a notification in the address bar icon and one of the following: a link in a black rectangle in the page or an information bar slides between the toolbar and in the page area.

If you see a good reason to use Flash, and the site looks trustworthy, you can go ahead and click on the Lego-like icon in the address bar to allow Flash. You have the choice to allow for a period of time or permanently.

But some pages use Flash only for tracking or play ads, so if you do not see an immediate need for Flash, feel free to ignore the notification. It will just sit there in case you later want.

  • Thunderbird downloads emails from the mail server to its own server?

Download Thunderbird and Horus email on its own server, or wiat for pull emails from my mail server until I have connect and download them?

There is no 'server Thunderbird', so that solves the first part of your question.

I don't know what you mean by "log in."

Thunderbird, retrieves all in all, your messages from the server when you tell him, or you can configure it to do periodically.

To access your messages, he must know the username of the e-mail account (very often all or part of your e-mail address) and the corresponding password. If you allow Thunderbird store the password, there is no need even to think of "connection" to the mail server.

I said "basically" because with some IMAP servers, messages seem to be fed to Thunderbird as and when they become available, assuming he is alive and online.
