Hi all

Firstly excuse me with poster on this thread who maybe does belong here.

We have a customer with zero according to IT. And I wanted to buy EBS R12.2.4 small accounting. (small only)

We have a proposal of costs for the EBS software + hardware.

But they want to include the cost of networking also.

What are the material condition basic/less expensive / the solution to start a small network?

for example no wiring but all wireless wi - fi?

Can you give me link for setting up small cheap put base on a network for a small office? No wiring, but all the wifi wireless?

Should I upgrade? router? hub? etc.

As much as I KNOW, no, is not a guide specific to the EBS network.

You only need a connectivity that is stable and relatively fast.

EBS R12.1 login page cannot display - after installation

I installed Oracle EBS R12.1 with multi node installation
Host system: Windows 7
VMPlaer:
System1 comments: Database 64 bit OS Oracle Linux 6.7 Vision node
System2 comments: OS Oracle Linux 64 bit Apps Tier 6.7
EBS Application installed successfully, and I can see both are rising and running, I can see the login page (no forms) in DB and Apps nodes. And I can connect to the database of customer of db host system, but not able to open the login page to the host system. I checked the version of java and every thing looks fine at the host system, I can open it with other EBS on all issues.
Based on Metalink notes:
Solution1: Auto config ran level apps and does not - and file DBC looks good - no problem on the automatic configuration
Option2: Recompiled from $FND_TOP/patch/115/bin - no JSP compiler error
My conclusions from host system:
Apps URL: http://192.168.64.130:8000/OA_HTML/AppsLogin
When I am trying to open in Internet Explorer:
This page cannot be displayed
•Assurez - you have the web address http://192.168.64.130:8000 is correct.
• Look for the page with your search engine.
•Refresh page in a few minutes.
When I am trying to open in Mozila:

I could see the suite of changes, I don't know I made these changes before installing. Seems to be after the restart apps replaced node network manager the /etc/resolv.conf file.
/ etc/etc/resolv.conf: this cannot be a problem, I think, because I can open the page of connection on the DB node

I'm not sure what could be the problem. Please guide me to solve this problem. Any help will be be appreciated.

Bandwidth (Mbps) for EBS R12.2

Hi all
We have a client in need of 100 concurrent users of EBS R12.2.
It will buy internet bandwidth for these 100 concurrent users.
How many total bandwidth they purchase? Is there enough 50 Mbps?
Is there a recommended for this calculation?

The design of networks can be determined on a fly. We understand from different locations, how the application will be accessible. As much as I know there no specific reference available to calculate the bandwidth of NW. The only option that we can do is to perform a load test on the network before GO Live.

In my experience if all 100 concurrent users accessing applications on the same site, then 50 Mbps should be fair enough.

Upgrade to EBS and oracle database examples database

Hi all
I'm upgrading our database of 11.1 to 11.2.0.4 EBS Note 1058763.1 said the examples of oracle database installation is required. The database examples guide also gives this link: Oracle database software download | Oracle Technology Network | Oracle
But the link does not 11.2.0.4 software file linux 86_64.
Am I missing something here...?

The part of the database is included in the files 1 & 2.

If this is the case of User Interfaces are OFA, form of Oracle and Web ADI form.

I took a note of metalink 416708.1 and I downloaded a patch for JDevelope is p8431482_R12_GENERIC
It is configured properly and showing the first page. As below;

Goto the OC4J Embedded Server preferences > Java compiler > compiler = JOC

After change

Goto the OC4J Embedded Server preferences > Java compiler > compiler javac =

Change bin directory of the directory Of the JDK BIN

Put an end to the old OC4J server and run again.

We have 2 apps-tier and 2 instances of node rac node... which instance a DB is down, my url to connect ebs gives this error
"Could not generate the redirect URL. Exception: oracle.apps.fnd.common.AppsException: oracle.apps.fnd.common.PoolException: Exception creating object that can be aggregated. "
Why we are getting this error, even if we have another instance DB 2 available and running.
In application.log, I see following error:
Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: the network adapter could not establish the connection
level applications sqlplus works fine and the connection to the instance DB 2.
Not sure whats wrong. CUD someone please help. Currently the application is not accessible.

EBS 12.1.1 Oracle install on Oracle Linux 6.6 x 86-64 bit

I downloaded Oracle EBS 12.1.1 for Linux x 86 64-bit delivery; Oracle Linux version 6.6 as OS guest is Windows 7 as host; md5sum to verify the integrity of files downloaded from the EBS as by Doc ID 802195.1. StartCD, error message for each file is: FAILED open or read. I converted the file using the command dos2unix, tried for both versions: 12.1.1.9 and 12.1.1.13 but the problem persists.
For other directories, got the result of following checksum:
oraDB/Disk1/dbts/stage/db42_ctx.zip: FAILURE
oraDB/Disk1/dbts/stage/db43_ctx.zip: FAILURE
oraDB/Disk2/dbts/stage/db41_ctx.zip: FAILURE
File Linux64_part_overview.txt shows that these files belong to V15679 - 01_1of3.zip, but in the circles of the delivery, this file does not exist. files of oraDB in EBS 12.1.1 for Linux x 86-64 in V35224-01_1of3, V35224-01_2of3 and V35224-01_3of3. This means checksum files are not updated? I have re downloaded these files but the problem persists.
I tried to download and check the media several times but the result was even listed above. Then I started the installation, pre-installation check shows 'File System' failed with the error message: there is no such thing as oraInventory. I continued, there was no error during installation but after installation controls reveal "JSP" and "Page"Login"failed with the following error message:

It says very clearly do not remove these lines, and yet you have commented

you might have used just any presented another host name "localhost".

for example

How can I solve the problem?
I can not add extra space because there is no space to add.
This problem happened before, it's 99% then after a few days, that it was automatically reduced to 70% and now again full to 100%. and those top-level files listed will not even 2 GB

Cannot load the metadata of the EBS

Hi guys!
I'm using 11.1.2.3.500 and try to shoot from 12 of the EBS metadata.
Everything is well configured, (so far).
I am trying to load 3 (account, entity and product in this order) dimensions form EBS and I got a green OK on Sun entity and one yellow triangle for others (account and entity).
It seems that he loses the connection between planning. But what happens if its OK for entity dim?

I found the root cause of the problem.

SANAE post was very helful for me.

When I don't file GCC output was 'Executable Bourne shell script text' this should be like this...

then I found some has manually changed the file gcc...

I removed the file gcc first, then I copied gcc44 (exist in my server).

my installation is reached at 46% and AppsTech battery installation...

Discoverer 11.1.1.7.0 against 12.1.3 with OAM 11.1.2 EBS to request the password for the user with Ondaaah

Oracle has not been able to help me to do this job; 2 open of SR for weeks and no good answer. They referred me to the people of onlinappsdba and various other public Internet sites. We run EBS 12.1.3 and Disco 11.1.1.7.0 with 10g SSO and Ondaaah and SSL. That works very well, users, identity is established through Ondaaah on our corporate network, with zero sign - on. I'm replacing 10gSSO by OAM 11.1.2. OAM/OID works very well for EBS and OBIEE, always zero sign - on with the OID 11.1.1.7.0 and AccessGate piece (and a webgate for both). (Too many servers to SSO support in my view, if something goes wrong, too many places to look.) For Disco, I created the osso.conf in OAM 11.1.2 installed in a folder on the Disco and bounced of Disco. This works OK if in OAM authentication method is based authentication forms, with OAM inviting the user to signon, OID and then passes the user name and password through the OID in Active Directory, and connect on Disco invites to indicate the user name, and then gives access to workbooks. No prompt for password clubbing. But when I try to activate Ondaaah as an authentication method in the OAM, discoverer invite first the "Oracle Applications" connection for a user name and the EUL. But Disco then prompts the user a password, that no longer exists in fnd_user. because authentication is external. Connections fail. I am also unable to create a private connection; This dialog box Disco also invites a user password. At the login page of Disco, the user session went to OAM and fact authentication successful via Ondaaah. I can tell from follow-up to the session through Fiddler. Transmitted to the disco but Disco missing something and password prompts. Support OAM at Oracle seems to think that OAM is not send the cookie to Discoverer, although I'm not sure.
First of all, Ondaaah with Disco should work with OAM, right? Any thoughts on what might be missing? I went through the MOS notes a few times, closely followed the tutorial onlinappsdba on it.

The hotfix is described in Note 1616228.1 problem with mod_osso and custom authentication plugins. Disco can work very well, with zero sign - we and OAM.
