Echo of Ping ICMP blackBerry Smartphones

I'm working on a Nextel 8350i with v4.6.1.313 (Platform 3.1.0.31), not renovated. The plan is on a data unlimited and direct connect, but no cell phone service (incoming and outgoing calls are blocked).

The problem I have called with a 3rd party TMW D2 Link program, this program uses GPS to track the phone/driver (it's a program of shipping for the trucking industry), sends 'pages' on phones of drivers on this program (using data), allows drivers to send messages and to the entrance of their time, again using the data. The program ceased to receive a signal, from what I can tell. Internet works fine on the phone, but I know that something is wrong because no matter what I can not do the program to get a signal and it worked before, for several months. I did a diagnostic test, and everything went well except the ICMP Ping echo, which came as 'no '. I don't know exactly what is this... but since I did a bit of research, it seems to do with sending a signal to 3rd party applications? Am that I on the right track here? I have no idea how to solve this problem.

Here is a list of what I did on the phone:

Reset the Radio (several times)

Diagnostic test (one under manage connections) & under status and still the only thing that 'failed', was the echo Ping ICMP message, and Yes test diagnoses were able to complement every time

Battery pull (several times after trying things)

Extraction of SIM card

Software update (I don't check the previous edition of software, that I just plugged it in Blackberry Desktop Manager and he came to say that she needed an update)

TMW D2 app update latest version

I am very close to wiping the phone and reinstalling the OS, but I'm not sure it will work because it doesn't seem to be a software problem... I am not opposed to if anyone thinks it will work.

Just in case anyone else with Nextel Berry and TMW has this problem with D2 is no longer go in D2, go to the option Admin, go to the option erase data and go ahead and wipe. For some reason I'm going to only have this problem with the Berrys Nextel, but that seems to fix the problem. I don't know why. Forms must update and re-download themselves but if they do not go to the installation and the menu and save some success and it sort of "force" to download, it's worked every time so if it doesn't work for you I don't know what else to do the removal program and re - download.

I have not yet found someone, even with Sprint, who knows about Ping Echo... or if it's even a question. Most people don't know what it is if anyone of you learn something about Ping Echo please let me know... I will update this post as well if I learned something.

    Sorry for the trouble, but I noticed this same problem with few other users, who could not send pings to any BlackBerry 10 there BlackBerry 7 devices.

    To solve your problem, I suggest to re-install BlackBerry Messenger!  To do this on your homescreen go to Options > device > application > locate and remove BlackBerry Messenger from there. After deleting to do a battery pull reboot as this device powered on remove the battery wait a min. then reinsert back.

    Finally, after the reboot, use your BlackBerry browser and go to www.blackberry.com/bbmdownload and download the latest available for your phone model. If device reboot prompt do then sign in with your ID BlackBerry even.

    The third is a bit weird, but excludes a bar of 3G on my account asit connects during the call. Actually the phone to work properly, for example all the emails are linked etc. when the phone log.

    A few places to visit: Blackberry 101 tips & tricks

    1. Remove the battery with the unit on. Wait about a minute and replace the battery. Leave the BB completely restart and see if it does not help. Clears the memory and updates the BB; like restarting your pc.
      When you have abnormal behavior in your BB a battery pull is often useful to clear it up.
    2. If this doesn 'n' t help, take a look at this article: Http: error 500

    If you already verified and that you are unable to locate your BBM icon, then you should try reinstalling the BlackBerry Messenger application, it may be useful.

    To do it from your home screen to go to Options > device > Application Management > locate and delete BlackBerry Messenger from this list.

    Deleted once perform a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your device is turned on, wait a min. and then reinsert this return.

    Finally, after the reboot, use your BlackBerry browser and go to www.blackberry.com/bbmdownload and download the most recent version available. After installation, restart your device once more, connecting with your BlackBerry ID and check if you are able to send BBM to one of these devices.

    Please try it and let us know of your progress.

    When I try to access something on the internet, I get the message "HTTP error 504-Gateway Timeout".

    I did a battery pull and received a strange message 'Eception Exeption UUID must be 36 characters long' while the phone was the starter. Everything seemed ok, but there was still no internet. Can you help me to sort out this mess?

    Well that's interesting... and you certainly then contact your provider. They may have (intentionally or not) staggered to a plan that includes the e-mail still disables browsing on the web. Or, there may be a problem with their network. In any case, only they can watch "behind the scenes" to investigate.
