Edit a long video into multiple Clips to be accessible for a project

Hello:

I'm capturing video clips of video games that are usually long 1 hour. I have to take these videos of 1 hour and select segments of 2 minutes then save these clips for future use and apply keywords, ranking, etc. for them.

The aim is that once I have enough highlights 2 minutes then create a project where I can restore all these clips.

Could someone point me in the right direct as to how I could do this?

Thank you

David

You can make selections from the range of clips in the browser by clicking and dragging or by browsing the clip and I hit for the start and the end o. To several beaches, hold down the command key when you drag ro game beaches or to the use of the i and o method, hold down the SHIFT key.

If you want to isolate these selections like: void / clips, press F for: mark them as Favorites. Then filter in Favorites.

  • Divide the long text into multiple blocks of text by PARAGRAPH breaks, and not by line breaks

I'm creating a catalog of the auction. Right now I have a long table in Word, where each line is an item in the catalog.

I know how to place the table in InDesign and convert it to text so that each line is its own paragraph (click table > > convert table to text).

Now, I want to run a script so that each paragraph becomes its own text box.

I tried to use the script of Jongware mentioned on this thread (https://forums.adobe.com/thread/652308), but it breaks to the top of each LINE in its own text box, not each paragraph.

Previously, a solution that worked for me is to manually adjust the text boxes until each paragraph is in a separate box, then use the SplitStory script to remove all the. However, the catalog has over 100 articles in there it is time consuming. Is there a way to separate each paragraph into its own text box automatically?

Well, I guess you can set up a master page with two frames of text related to this topic.

To keep Options (see above), choose 'Start in the new framework' rather than 'new page '.

Create a page in the document and apply the master page.

Then follow the first set of instructions, I gave above. For autoflowing, click inside the box of one of the blocks of text on the master page (I mean, do it on a regular page that has the master page applied; the text block should appear with a dashed line, because it is on the master page). Now, all text should flow between these two images, two images per page which gives you 1 point in each image.

  • How to split a long file into multiple tracks?

I have a recording of single file of a vinyl record (containing several sequential tracks) that I want to export to several distinct tracks. Is it possible to take thisfile audio, to add markers and export this multitrack view file into separate tracks? I know its possible to do using markers and export a list of CD and a burn on CD, but can export you multiple WAV gapless files instead, with the markers as points of track/split?

I'm not burning to CD, just wanting to keep the traces in the form of files.

Once you have added your markers and merged as to make a CD, then you can use parts of marker of Batch process (icon following along the fusion icon in the list of markers) to save the regions marked in individual files.

  • How to split a long video into several scenes and exporting?

    Hey there!

Is probably a newbie question, but please help me I have a video that is made of 5 scenes. My goal is to divide the larger video in the shorter scenes. The end result would be to have 5 different videos on my computer (real media, not an adobe first / prelude to file). What is the best way to go about it, while keeping the same video quality?

PS: I tried to use the first Pro CC and cut scenes, then the nest and export. Even if the options have been set to the "Match to the source", my end result was of a different size than the original. By that I mean the Windows Media Player window was greater when I played the original file.

    Thanks for the reply.

I thought it was too easy job for the Prime Minister to go for a minute or two (which means its more big changes to my file I wanted and later was a witness). I used Avidemux do the visited took less than a second, and this was the solution that worked for me.

  • Can move multiple clips together timeline of bin?

Can move multiple clips together timeline of bin?  It is a technique of current edition, but I can only move a clip at a time.  Say it isn't so.

The solution is right now not to take them in a locker, but rather, to create a new sequence and dump here to ensure the guard.

This way you can keep all the effects have maybe applied you.

Some of us asked the ability to save clips to the timeline for the project bins, but which has not yet been provided.

I tried to import this hour long video in windows movie maker, and the result is that only five seconds of the video is imported. I tried over and over again, but still five seconds of the video is imported. I have searched the Internet for answers, but impossible to find a single solution to all but one of this forum that leads to a page for the Director in windows vista, which certainly does not help. Any help on this situation would be greatly appreciated. If it helps, I am running Service Pack 2 for Windows XP Home 32-bit Edition.

    =====================================
The problem is the file format. If you convert the MPG file
in WMV format, you can have better results.

Several formats are apparently compatible with
Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

    Photos - bmp
Video - wmv or dv - avi
    Music - wma, wav, wmv

    The following freeware can convert:

Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Format Factory

    (FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
('all' boxes on the last screen)

First... after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
    are converted)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

Select "all to WMV" / OK...

Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...

  • Change the duration of multiple clips "as one" clip together?

    Here's my situation:

I have a song to 127 BPM. I have a music video (muted) to 125 BPM.

I spent a long time cut out excerpts of the video channels and muliple clips to form a chronology (but with a lot of clips and channels lined up).

I now want to change the total length of the video clip to match the TEMPO of the song (which I should have done in the first place), but the video is, as noted earlier, sliced upward in mulitple clips in multiple channels. How do I change the duration of all the clips at the same time, where the end and the beginning of the clips still line up to eachother?

It would be incredibly easy if there was a function non-breeders. Where can I nest multiple clips, change the duration and the UN - nest clips from clips of an overall duration slices changed. (Which is not possible. Yes, I can drag out of the nested charger clips, but the clips will still have the initial term).

TL; DR: How can I change duration of multiple clips "as one" clip together?

Never mind. I found an alternative solution. I used an expandable calculator at http://mp3.deepsound.net/eng/samples_calculs.php and time stretched all the clips to match the TEMPO of the song. Now I just need to break all the clips, which can be done one by one, but I found this trick to snap all clips at once: http://vimeo.com/27428526.

  • Change the saturation, contrast, Equalizer for multiple clips

    Hello

    I've already cut my project.

Now, all that's left to do is to correct the saturation, contrast + audio equalizer.

I can't believe the only way to achieve this is by the clip.

    Thank you very much.

YYou can do multiple clips at once, or you can make one and copy and paste other attributes. It depends on the program, but usually video is rated in sequence by sequence, unless the shot is repeated.

  • How I've spread my video into several parts and save each file under different names?

How I've spread my video into several parts and save each file under different names?

You are going to need a video editing package to do this, you can not cut just to the top of the video into segments at the file level.

With an editor, you can then crop the video into segments

  • Effective way to break up long video file?

We work closely with an hour long + video file where we need on the occasion of many clips of 30 seconds or more to be exported for use in another application altogether. Is it possible to make some kind of conversion "in bulk"? Manufacturing individual void clips and then exporting an at once is bad enough. Maybe we missed something obvious?

Bring the clip in the Source monitor Panel.  Mark In/Out points.  Press CTRL + M to open the export settings.  Twist them as desired queue, hitting.

Move to the segment next, press CTRL + M, click queue, move to the next segment.

  • Look for multiple clips at once

    Hey there,

So, I would like to get this right. If I use the direct link from first to Speedgrade, there is no way to easily apply a glance to multiple clips other than the use of adjustment layers?
I have pictures of different places all over my calendar, it would be a pain to create layers of adjustment for all the clips.
Back when I was using apple color, I just select them and drag a look at the selection and the bam, done.
Is it really not possible with Speedgrade?

In short, no... you can not select multiple clips in Sg to the class at the same time or drop a glance on. There are ways to copy grades but they are all by the clip, with the exception of using adjustment layers. And Yes, the creation of adjustment on a bunch of clips spread layers is a royal pain. Feel free to fill a feature request of the possibility to select several clips... and discontiguous multiple clips... for the ranking in some sort of batch.

/Feature bug report form requires Adobe...

    https://www.Adobe.com/cfusion/mmForm/index.cfm?name=wishform

I would like no end if it appeared within the programs.

Currently, the two ways to do what you want is as above dummergold... Place the head on the clip you want to change, rest the mouse over the clip you want to copy from and click on 'C', or use the keypad 1-9 for copy/paste a grade.

The other takes a little more ' splaining. The default guess of origin before the current clip (with head of reading about it). Count however many clips to the left that you want to use for your settings (up to 9) and using the keypad, click this number. So... If it's just the previous clip, you would click on the 1 on the numeric keypad. ALL the current standings will be replaced by what is on the clip you selected by entering your number and once again 1-9 clips before your currently selected clip.

To reverse the process and choose a quality according to the item currently selected, you hold ALT first and then click on the sign '+' keypad to reverse the "default"... and then any number from 1 to 9, you hit on the pad will capture the rank of this clip, 1-9 after the currently displayed item, and drop this clip to replace all the existing settings. In order to work immediately after this clip for the shade desired put the playback head on a clip, hit the number 1-9...

Back to grabbing the clip settings to before the item that is currently displayed, it's... ALT and the minus sign ' - '. Here again, the settings from that much before clips the clip ongoing hit 1a9 seizes.

Once you get used to it, you can move along at a decent pace. Like you, I prefer to be able to skip the long however.

  • Export multiple clips from a sequence as separate files.

    Hello fellow editors!

I have about 100 + video files I want to cut into shorter clips, change a little and then export in a Final Cut friendly format (currently these are AVCHD mts files) to send it to my friend, who is putting the entire movie together.
I don't want to use Final Cut for that (I can't, I have a windows machine) and I expect to work with the premier CC and media encoder CC.
There is a way to put all the clips in a single sequence and nesting then each of them, then you can send them to the CC encoder and it will make them as separate files - it's simply not very productive, interweaving clips one by one and it takes forever to encode import sequences.

I was wondering if there is a workflow better? I heard that Final Cut has shortcuts to do this very easily, you just click on all these clips in sequence and "batch export", which puts them in a certain place as separate, already cut files. ?

No matter what? "I love the Prime Minister, my feelings be justified!)

    Hi Nik,

Place the clips in a sequence and trim if you wish. Select the clips in the timeline panel, and then drag them into a bin. In the bin, select all the clips and choose file > export > Media. Choose your export settings, then you can transcode the all in one go. If you have the FCP installed, you can use the ProRes codecs. You might consider ProRes 422 for this.

    Hope that helps,

    Kevin

  • Record a single clip of a file of multiple clips

Hello: I have a VHS video tape that was used to archive several scenes shot in a DV camera.  I can load the entire VHS tape in a single file into Adobe Premiere elements 12 and cut the source into several clips.  What I want to do now is to save each clip as a .avi file separate so that I can even import then the Organizer.

I found the article of export under the file menu in the hope that is the command that will allow me to record clips (export) as separate files .avi, but I do not understand how to activate it.

I'm on the right track with the Export command or are there other ways to record separate clips as files individual .avi on my PC?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you

    Short version...

First elements 12 lead Menu/Export is now for title only and only after the copy of the title is lit in Active Expert of the project workspace.

"Project files" was never part of the equation with Menu/export of files even when he included the film in addition to choice of title. So, I'm not sure where John comes when he wrote "file - export is for your project... file. "The project file is a file .prel; the title is a file .prtl.

Details of first items 12/12.1 exports AVI files...

What operating system is running your 12 items first? For now, I will assume to Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64bits. I assume that you are not in a setting NTSC and PAL.

Menu file/export/film is not a feature of Premiere Elements since first Elements 7. If you want to export the timeline in DV AVI standard or widescreen in first 12/12.1 elements, then you use Publish + share/computer AVI with Presets = DV NTSC Standard or DV NTSC widescreen.

Important: Publish + share/computer/a lot of choice. It would seem that there are only 3 choices, i.e. Adobe Flash Video, MPEG and AVCHD. But there's more. AVI is further down in the list and must scroll to see. The scroll in thin and right of choices bar.

Premiere Elements does not allow the export of more than 1 at a time. Export more than one at a time can is located in a free program like MPEG Streamclip.

Premiere Elements allows the selective export of the contents of the timeline. The keys to success, he require the steps two "must do."

    1. place the grey tabs on the work area bar to span all content to export

    and

    2. place a checkmark next to the "share work area Bar only" in the export settings.

The gray tabs on the workspace toolbar can be set by placing it in place with the mouse or by using shortcuts. For shortcuts...

Move the indicator of chronology for the start of the segment to export, that you hold ALT on the main keyboard to the computer, hit the [key left hook

Move the indicator in the timeline to the end of the segment to export, you hold down the ALT of the main keyboard to the computer, press the right bracket]

Please check and review and then we can discuss the above further if necessary.
