  Hi, when I click right over a clip in Premiere Pro CS6 on the timeline and selected "Clip editing in Adobe hearing" the export works correctly, i.e. the «...» "Audio Extracted.wav" is generated and added to the project.

  Hearing is open with the clip. However, when I want to save my changes, Audition alerts me by "the file is in use by another application and cannot be replaced.

  The only other application access to the file is first.

  I'm on Mac OS Snow Leopard, with all installed CS6 updated courses.

  Just tested it to OSX 10.7.4 and works as it should.  It could be a bug with Snow Leo.

  While we are on the subject of sending to the hearing, you can customize the location that the "excerpt" file is created?  I just went to reveal in finder and the extracted file appeared in what I think is a random file in a different project.  Pourrait file andi_urra is preparing a read-only disk, or it doesn't have sufficient administrative privileges for this drive/folder?

  Right-click to edit in adobe audition option is now greyed out in first pro. This may be related to me uninstall audition CC & cs6.  Sort, this was confirmed at the hearing, I opened and my drive cache Felix were incorrectly.

  Why upgrade to adobe treats such schmozzle?

  The thing safe to do is to let all the old programs in place until you do a clean install - which means about 20 GB of wasted space.

  Go to Document/Adobe/Audition / 'version' / Session models folder and search for .sesx files. Right click and open with hearing (set as default.

  It is grayed because your edits are removed because you company CA.

  Please check your private messages, I have provided the details of the files to delete, delete updates.

  If these files are present, then your administrator must ensure that it deploys the update package or that they are not deleted.

• First DC sending problem not audio in Adobe Audition

  Hello

  I have an audio clip in CC Pro first that I try to send to the hearing via dynamic links with "Clip edit in Adobe Audition."  I have done so in the past, but not since I spend all my versions of the CS6 version version CC 2014.  Previously, he has worked without incident.  Here is what is happening now.

  1. I right click on the audio track (Mono - 005.wav) in the fitting first pro cc Panel.

  2. Select "edit Clip in Adobe Audition.

  3. in Premiere Pro CC is a new audio track generated (Audio Extracted.wav MONO-005) on the timeline - replace the previous track (MONO - 005.wav) and in the media of my first Pro CC bin BUT it never opens in Adobe Audition... program (Adobe Audition) never even attempts to open.

  I was getting the error hearing "primary temp volume is not found" so I went to Audition and changed the location of the Media & Disk Cache file and now I can open the Adobe Audition program very well if I'm directly by clicking on it to open it.  However, whenever I try to put an audio first with dynamic link (as described above) hearing don't you dare open.

  Had this problem before.  Verify file associations to see if hearing CC 2014 is set as the value the default editing program to open files sesx, etc..

  

  You can make sure that all other applications are as well.  I have three versions of the software on my machine, and I had to do this to ensure that the default application for the appropriate file types the work of dynamic binding was put on the latest version.

• Edit in Adobe Audition - not replaced

  Hello!

  I have a stand up interview, whose sound is recorded with the video from a dslr t5 built in mic on the camera. The audio should be cleaned up a bit.

  I recently discovered on the 'Edit in Adobe Audition' command (Edit > Adit in Adobe Audition > Clip) when I select the video file in the project Panel. It extracts the audio for me to play in Adobe Audition. I can see the first one to put the audio clip, but doesn't replace the original sound of the clip of film T5 with my changes in hearing. So everything that I have made in the hearing, the T5 is still with its original source.

  Is this a bug or am I missing something?

  Hearing is always a destructive Editor, which means that it changes constantly from the original.  Premiere Pro (like any good editing software) is a not- destructive of the editor, which means that it only reads the original media, and if you want to save your changes, you must export, thus creating a new file.

  So luckily no... There is no way for PP to replace the original sound without creating a new file.

  To get what you want here (what we all need here), hearing must also be a non-destructive Editor, is to work with metadata and asking the user to export a new file to save the changes.  The ideal scene would be to send the clip or sequence of PP at the hearing, without making new audio files.  Hearing would read the original media, like the PP and save all it's labor in the form of metadata, which can PP then read and addresses when moving back for further work.  Only for export would be audio changes in hearing be 'cooked' in a new file.  (Or when creating Audio Previews, audio effects that cannot be processed in real time).

  It's really the only way that hearing can be truly integrated as part of the suite.  Without this workflow metadata, we will not overcome the current limitations of a destructive editor in what should be a workflow purely not destructive from end to end.

  So please, tell Adobe you want Audition to become a non-destructive Editor, forcing the user to export (either from hearing directly or PP later) for changes 'stick '.

• Headphone issues and options grayed out reading preferences

  The basic problem is that when I play music via iTunes, if I plug my headphones, it covers only playback through the computer speakers, not headphones.
  If I closed iTunes, plug in the earphones, THEN restart iTunes and play music, it will come through the headphones, but if I unplug, it is paused and not restart, even if I plug the headphones insert it again.
  Although I can change speakers headphones by stopping iTunes and restarting, I'm often trailing long playlists, it is not practical to do so.
  Other advice, it seems that I have to change the "audio playback" setting using "Session of Windows Audio' 'Direct Sound', or something similar, HOWEVER, when I go in Edition > Preferences > reading, the box is grayed out, and I can't change it.

  Any advice on how I can do so I can change the option, or any other fixes for the problem of helmet? Thank you very much

  Direct Sound is the vastly superior choice if you have several outputs such as speakers and headphones and now if have to stop iTunes whenever I output to the speaker.

  Apple bring back this feature.

• Adobe Audition CS6 exported read-only when I can't reach, but randomly

  I work for a company that uses Adobe Audition CS6 for some work. We export sessions on a share drive that can be pulled up in our automation programme. The problem is when the don't export that sometimes (did a test of 10 attempts from the same file, same settings, 7 3 traverse doesn't) it exports a read-only and will not pass by the reader on the part. He was suspended in limbo. I can't reproduce the problem at the request, it seems to be "random". This only started happening when we deployed PC updated.

  Then I fear that it is unlikely to be a problem with the codec WO. In this case we on this forum from a user to probably will not be much help. However, if you're lucky, the developers of the hearing look on this forum from time to time, as you will see from the other thread of WO users and may be able to get this looked in bug.

  It is also probably a good idea to publish it as a bug on the list of bugs to Adobe Audition. Pointing out the problem with WO may be a good one.

  VERY frustrated here. In the past, my use of the Adobe software was increased CONSIDERABLY by the availability of assistance in offline mode. It was can be found, hotlinked, independently operated, was well organized and VERY useful. I was able to solve problems more myself and teach me how to use the new tools. I hear now we just get a .pdf file. We need the old aid system in return. You can simply take content in .pdfs and cut and paste to the old style program. But here's the beef I have today:

  
  

  Just installed CS6 Production Premium on a machine of Win8. Sometimes I have to edit in areas without internet. This means that I sometimes have to access offline help. I have pressing F1 and adobe help manager says "awaiting download. I connect to the net after a reboot and load the adobe help Manager. I select the products I want help for (all) offline, I select "notify me when updates to help are available," it says waiting for download on all products. The UPDATING box does not work (in gray), I've hit, and I don't see any download from (confirmed by watching the activity on the resource monitor network traffic and disk). So I close adobe help Manager and reopen it. Now, it says 'Not available' and once again the UPDATE is grayed out. Well, I don't have any help files, then it would be REALLY great if the Adobe help Manager could do his job and download them. My guess is that Adobe has a server down which communicates with Adobe help Bishop and deploys client files Adobe help Mgr. It is a basic feature and really needs fixing.

  
  

  It's a good thing that I know enough about Premiere Pro to teach a class about it (making a documentary, and you can teach class too), but I still have much to learn about audition, prelude, speedgrade, etc.. I need F1 help feature in all programs of CS6. Online help is good in theory, but some of us edit in areas without net access.

Yes, it is possible for me to find a .pdf file and download it manually, but that COMPLETELY defeats the goal of Adobe help Bishop what can do to make Bishop to help Adobe do planned to use?   From now on, the best way is to download the CS6 help PDF from the Web. You can then configure your product to open the help PDF downloaded when you select the menu help/press F1 by following the steps described in this article.

  I have a video in After Effects. I'm going to 'Edit in Audition' and open audio file in Adobe Audition and make my settings. But how do I put the changes in AE?
  I can't see the option 'Save', but that will be a separate audio file instead of updating the video clip in AE...? Any suggestions?

  The workflow would depend on what other applications you use on this project.  For example, if a video editing application is involved at some point, you can choose a different workflow if AE & hearing are the only concerned applications.

  For now, just import the audio file (MP3, NO), sync it up to the video and turn off the audio on the video clip.  Fact.
