  VERY frustrated here. In the past, my use of the Adobe software was increased CONSIDERABLY by the availability of assistance in offline mode. It was can be found, hotlinked, independently operated, was well organized and VERY useful. I was able to solve problems more myself and teach me how to use the new tools. I hear now we just get a .pdf file. We need the old aid system in return. You can simply take content in .pdfs and cut and paste to the old style program. But here's the beef I have today:

  
  

  Just installed CS6 Production Premium on a machine of Win8. Sometimes I have to edit in areas without internet. This means that I sometimes have to access offline help. I have pressing F1 and adobe help manager says "awaiting download. I connect to the net after a reboot and load the adobe help Manager. I select the products I want help for (all) offline, I select "notify me when updates to help are available," it says waiting for download on all products. The UPDATING box does not work (in gray), I've hit, and I don't see any download from (confirmed by watching the activity on the resource monitor network traffic and disk). So I close adobe help Manager and reopen it. Now, it says 'Not available' and once again the UPDATE is grayed out. Well, I don't have any help files, then it would be REALLY great if the Adobe help Manager could do his job and download them. My guess is that Adobe has a server down which communicates with Adobe help Bishop and deploys client files Adobe help Mgr. It is a basic feature and really needs fixing.

  
  

  It's a good thing that I know enough about Premiere Pro to teach a class about it (making a documentary, and you can teach class too), but I still have much to learn about audition, prelude, speedgrade, etc.. I need F1 help feature in all programs of CS6. Online help is good in theory, but some of us edit in areas without net access.

Yes, it is possible for me to find a .pdf file and download it manually, but that COMPLETELY defeats the goal of Adobe help Bishop what can do to make Bishop to help Adobe do planned to use?   Hi... running Windows Vista with service pack 2 and did not have an auto update installed since 07/21/11.  Automatic updating turned on and verification of updates on a daily basis.  BUYMD when I open windows update, the selection of "Check for updates" is grayed out.

  I had the same problem today. I closed and reopened firefox and now all the choices ("open in a new tab", "open in a new window", etc. are available again.

  Hello - I am trying to import pictures from a synology NAS.  Lightroom (latest version on a Mac 10.11.5 2015.6) keeps telling me that he could not move files, even if I can copy and move them using the finder.

  So when I try to do it again, "Import pictures and video" menu item is grayed out.  I couldn't even add a photo stored locally if I wanted to.

  I solved.

  Here's what I did:

  (1) put in my install Adobe CS6 Production Premium Disc and re-installed the programs that I had chosen.  Each of them (except for the 32-bit versions of the software that has been available in 64 - bit).

  (2) all programs to complete the installation.  I think the first must Audition to be installed first, so that it recognizes that it is there, and it's a natural progression when installing Production Premium.

  (3) that's all.  I opened the first and found that he could connect with the hearing.

• Why is the export Menu grayed out?

  File > export is used only for export title files. Everything is in the tab share. Go to share > computer.

• CS5 - Texture Menu grayed out

  Hi everyone, quick question.

  I know that Textures are not included and all and I already seperatedly downloaded and placed all of the Textures folder in the Presets of Adobe CS5 folder.

  The thing is, despite everything, can I still access the Textures. He is always grayed out and cannot be clicked. I don't know why, but others not as aesthetic are all available.

• BTMON - market menu grayed out

  I have Toshiba laptop but it came with the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack (XP SP2). My cell phone requires battery Microsoft Bluetooth in order to use internet sharing and Pan. I uninstalled the Toshiba Bluetooth stack and you have the battery installed MS. The Bluetooth radio and drivers have been installed and appear in Device Manager.

  When I run BTMON, the start menu is grey and I can't turn on the radio.
  Any suggestions?

  So maybe just BT can be activated with the drivers of toshiba and the battery? I don't know, but if I were you, I am looking for driver updates or patches, etc... on google.

• After update, Lightroom grayed out of external editors.

  I have followed the instructions, removed the preferences of the location in Windows (appdata etc.) ... reinstalled Lightroom and Photoshop (CC 2014).  External editors were not blurred only once.  It's only since the last update.

  In the Plugin Manager, it shows them all installed and working properly.  The truth is, Lightroom won't let me not even select Photoshop.  Does anyone else have this problem?

  I'm having a problem getting the MRU for work in a CS3 Panel.

• Photoshop CS3 - need to uninstall and reinstall but disable is grayed out

  Photoshop CS3 lived happily for a while on my system running Windows 7 32-bit, however, lately, at the closing, it freezes, requiring a Ctrl-alt-del to force her to leave.   In the end, PS CS3 became unresponsive and activate - deactivate the menu grayed out again. After trial and error a lot more, the only way to reinstall was to completely erase the hard drive, reformat and install a new OS, etc. Since I had done similar work to solve a CAD program which had problems with a re - install a player, I think that Photoshop CS3 should write files of system flags hidden in some sectors of the HDD outside the volume of Windows OS, not only hidden or obscure entries in the Windows registry, so without a way to manually find and fix roadmap / remove these flags or powerful to remove utility completely all traces of a program, a pavilion of sector or software disk corrupted outside normal windows volume can prevent or corrupt future attempts to re - install the software... that's my theory at least that other software publishers use these plans to try to protect their software licenses; Woe to the poor soul who blocked a drive hard after that software support is complete!

  Because I needed to save the volume as-is due to other software that cannot be easily re-installed, workaround to fix PS CS3 was rather install my last open license for PS CS4, which now is now installed on the same drive and continues to work perfectly.

  This thing any desynchronization number may be a little confused.  If you have CC2015 with no update?

  I don't know how the license teams affects things, so this is a bit of guessing, but the logout and back in to the Application Manager requires to search for updates, but the new update menu item control should probably replace that.  Which brings back me to the aspect of the teams.  You have the option to open the Application Manager as an administrator?

• How can I change my CS6 Master Collection when the "Update" function is grayed out?
