  I want to create a similar to the stamper plugin plugin in Acrobat sdk sample. Or create a menu 'more' point below "annotations Stamper" and when clicked it should paste the text I've defined.

  If you want to reproduce the plugin functionality of Stamper, copy the

  Plugin directory, then rename the project. I usually also rename all

  project files (making sure that they are always referenced by the project).

  Rename the name of the plugin and all global resources (for example all the menu items) by

  using your own prefix of developer. To find the items that need to be renamed,

  Search for ADBE in the project.

  This should create a new plug-in with the same functionality.

• Why the plugin TwirlFilter (sample in CS4 project) is not selectable?

  I'm using Adobe Illustrator CS4.

  I want to test the plugin 'TwirlFilter' (in cs4 SDK sample project). Project is compiled and created plugin.

  I placed this plugin in sub folder plugins of AI.

  Started and this plugin displayed menu effects. but not slectable, (I mean gray in color)

  Infact all effects are gray color display.

  Open a new document

  Now all effects are on display and selectable in the menu effects except whirlwind plugin.

  Why? What is the reason?

  Note: If I draw a single line in the document, then whirl plugin is activated and selectable.

  Its probably in the filter manager code in TwirlFilter.cpp - look for UpdateMenuItemAutomatically(). You will notice that one of the parameters is kPathArt, which is where its saying "only allow me if this type of art is selected. If you change or you get out of this line, it will be enabled by default.

  I am trying to build a plugin that can use a codec customized to export a video imported to h264 format.

  The codec I use converts a raw YUV420 format h264 video. As stated in the Guide of the first SDK

  the exporter SDK is not compressed 8-bit RGB with or without alpha and packed
  10-bit YUV (v410). The initial rendering is done by the RenderVideoFrame() function call, which is said in RenderAndWriteVideoFrame().

  It is then converted using various calls such as ConvertFrom8uTo32f(), ConvertFromBGRA32fToVUYA32f() and ConvertFrom32fToV410().

  The problem I facing m's than I m not able to check if the RenderVideoFrame() is working properly and the format in which he writes.

  Is it possible to check using any multimedia player that can play the exported video. Unless I know that the exact exported format (correct)

  I won't be able to convert the required format of YUV420 I need.

  Also if I use the ConvertFrom functions and use only the video stream released RenderVideoFrame, can u clearly specify the format

  and any multimedia player that can play, in order to check the operation.

  Hello Agam,

  The exporter is what writes the actual file, so, technically, you can create everywhere where you want.  The exporter gets exDoExportRec.fileObject during the exSelExport selector.  You can use the file Export Suite to get the path provided by the host (Premiere Pro) and instead to write media to a different file path using your own file system calls.

  However, written to a different location may have undesirable side effects, since the host won't know if you changed the destination of the file.  This could cause some things to not work, including:

  Automatic importation after having made a direct export (do not use the queue of rendering SOUL)

  * XMP embedding (for metadata)

  * Post FTP Encoder process (which can be specified by the user in the export settings FTP tab)

  You have a new PC.  Yes for me.  Installed the new Eclipse + BB JDK of this site.  There is no option for BlackBerry projects when I run Eclipse.

  When I import my old PC projects, there are tons of red x in them.

  In my setup, I have 2 files in the field: a common file for all styles (which is located outside the system of design files and pointed to by the default directory of the system Types) and the other for the specific design (located in the area of system design files).

  I opened the design. Then, I create a new domain in the default domain file (this is the default) and save the file field. The name of design is the system. I opened the administrative domain to modify the file in the file field. The field moves to the other file of domain, but the Design rest system, rather than change the name of design.

  I am trying to run a script when my InDesign plugin loading. I called the PanelTreeView sdk sample for example and implemented a Boss StartupShutdown

  In my implementation, in the startup() method, I have the code to get the scriptManager and the scriptRunner for my javascript I want to run. However, when my code hits the following line:

  InterfacePtr < IScriptRunner > theRunner (() Utils < IScriptUtils >-> QueryScriptRunner (scriptFile)); ScriptFile is the script ID file I want to run

  I get error saying "Calling ScriptInfoDatabase::InitScriptInfoManager until resources have been registered".

  I wonder how I can fix this error. or if it of too early to call scriptrunner, then is there another place where I can call him to scriptrunner run my script

  Depends on your version of InDesign, you can plan an IdleTask and do it from there or just use a lazy start.

  Again depends on your version of InDesign, you first need to check if a script can if run at all - some other nasty plugins can prevent with modal dialog boxes.

  Finally, there is the ability to run scripts to start even without plugin...

• Change the source SDK files

  I'm currently editing the Flex SDK Source files to fix some bugs in the DataGrid. I found the source code files in the Program Files directory to: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flex Builder 2\Flex SDK 2\frameworks\source\mx. I am able to open these files in Flex and edit the code. However, when I compile my application and try to browse the code, it seems that the SDK files do not get compiled.
  
  How to compile the Flex SDK files after changing them.

  Here's what you do:

  Make a copy of the source file in your own project directory, BUT use the EXACT SAME path. For example, mx.controls.DataGrid must go in the mx/controls directory in your project. In this way the compiler will pick up files changed on those in the SDK. In other words, do not modify the code in the framework source directory, copy and modify the copy.

  You can also do this with your own CFCS (library Flex) and then whenever you want to use your code to ours, simply place your CFC above ours in any Application Flex project library path you use.

  is it possible that the plug-in is subscribed from another application? If not by intention,

  1. go to the "Subscriptions" area
  2. Click the LOV of "Reference Master plugin from" and
  3. don't choose "no plugin.
  4. Save the changes.

  Now you should be able to edit the plugin.

• How can I customize the States in a menu bar vertical?

  Yes, you hit a bug in Muse, which will be fixed in the next version.

  The bug occurs when you have a gradient for the State by default, but no gradient fill for your state. The vertical menu has this default look. You can work around it by removing the default gradient mode or by adding a gradient to the other States.

  I have created an Automation of the plug-in from scratch and I have all the instructions given in the documentation for the creation of plugin on MAC OS. But I am facing a problem very pecuilar, IE, I do not receive my name of plugin under file-> automate-> MyPlugin... When I run the photoshop from the finder application.

  But when I debug my Xcode plugin, so in this case the Plugin MyPlugin name... is to come. Have you tried with the removal of my preferences too, but still hang out the same problem.

  I don't get the reason behind this... any idea will be appreciated.

• Can I control menu when I run the plugin 'ExportController '?

  I write a plug-in "ExportController" based on the example provided SDK (Mac).

  It works correctly in the workflow expected, has added a new submenu under 'Export', and it can restore the timeline, export it and do the other post-processing.

  But it does not support 'copy', 'paste', 'cut' operation for NSTextField in my custom user interface.

  I found all the menu items status has not changed and the elements (copy, paste,...)  under "Edit" are not enabled.

  I think that the lack of copy function is disable the menu item, but I don't know what support to change or modify these status?

  (I use Premiere Pro CC Mac SDK, is a plug-in "ExportController").
