Edition of resource and control definitions dialog box

Anyone know where I can get some (possibly former) documents on standardized controls which are recognized in the dialog resource file (which can be used in the section of the DIALOG box).  Of course, looking at the samples, I can see that StaticText, UserItem, controls and EditText exist.  Would be nice if I could find documentation of the CNTL settings as well.  (Work under OSX with the CS4, CS5 SDK).

Apologies if this has been answered, I did several searches and has no key off the coast of what came.

Thanks for all of the tracks in advance!

In my view, that there is a table SMA - in the CS3 SDK guide.pdf. There don't seem to be in the later I think. I would post it, but I don't ' think I can attach a file here. Just go to the site and get the CS3 SDK, and you can find it in the docs out of the root folder.

And just so you're not surprised by this more late - notice that the ADM is obsolete and won't be available in the next version of Illustrator after CS5.5 (or 5.1 in the help of his listed AI menu in).

  • How assign key Definition dialog box short CSS rule?

    I need to know this very urgent. Dreamweaver has to a range of css style in which there is "Pencil icon" at the bottom of the palette which shows the css definition... Rule dialog box while modifying the value I want an overview of evolution... I can apply, move the dialog box and see the change...  "but the css style palette remains open blocking the view I want to see." Now, it is not possible to close the palette when the dialog box is open. I so need a key to open the dialog box directly rule css definition.

    Can anyone suggest something?

    It of a little difficult to consider what you are trying to do, but if you want to hide the CSS Styles Panel to see more of the Document window, press F4. Which hides all panels. Pressing F4 again brings in the display.

  • Windows XP Home Edition is stuck in the Activation dialog box once it has been activated by phone. Can not connect.

  • Interface API - menu of the bottom and the entry dialog box?

    Hello!

    It would be preferable if a widget is very similar to a native application on BlackBerry so I am just wondering if there is something like an entry dialog box?

    Like 'Please enter a location"'_' (OK)

    Another thing I would really like to: in some applications like BlackBerry map or calendar, there is a standard menu on the bottom of the screen. Is there a Widget API for this?

    Kind regards

    Alex

    The jump on a fixed positioned div is something you will see on a real device as well.  This is a limitation of the BlackBerry browser when scrolling with content in a fixed position.

    From what you describe, sounds like you want as the toolbar which is available on the device of the storm that allows you to add 4 buttons at the bottom of the screen.  We do not currently have an API available that you activate the toolbar of the storm.

    However, I have seen others accomplish this effect even by an array of the size of the screen and then have a scrolling div statement positioned to the upper part of the screen and then the cells for the buttons at the bottom of table.  That would be usable for touchscreen and trackpad/trackball devices.

  • print - edition of the register or JS dialog box

    Hello everyone.

    My first post here.

    I work in a Citrix Xenapp environment. On our application servers, we have installed Adobe Reader XI. When a user prints a DP, by pressing the icon of the printer, he gets a print dialog box. We want that the user, after having pressed the button print, print directly and no dialog box appears.

    On my workstation, I have Adobe Reader XI I want to do the first test.

    I found the javaScript code:

    This.Print ({bUI: false, bSilent: true, bShrinkToFit: true});

    but I have no idea where to start. How can I implement this part of the Java script in my installation of Adobe Reader XI to test the printing process (no print dialog box).  or is there another solution, for example, through Windows registry key (that would be a faster solution)

    Should I all of the SDK package and / or JavaScript for Adobe Reader etc... ??

    I have it is a registry key value, would be better and easier to implement.

    Help, please

    Thanks in advance.

    You cannot change the behavior of the standard print command. You can add your own printer icon in a variety of ways, but I don't know if any of them works with the drive. Of course, you'll need the Acrobat SDK: it is almost entirely the thousands of pages of documentation, you will need.

  • Page CSS-need help beyond editing options in the Page Properties dialog box

    I want to add a simple fill right and the right float to a Web site. The Page Properties dialog box allows a fill only to the left. I know the CSS code that I need to add (right margin) (float) and I could do in Dreamweaver... but is there a way to add my own little bit of code to a page? I know that you can add HTML to an object, but what about adding CSS to a page? It doesn't seem to be in the metadata tab in the <>empty space, or if this is the case, then extra bits that I don't know. Can anyone help?

    You can create your own style, save it in the root folder and a link on the page.

    Alternatively, you can try these options:

    I use the version of Windows, and yes I am a member of CC so versions are all more recent.  I haven't touched adjustment, cos 2 days ago, everything was fine. I tried to solve this night last cos my pending jobs and found that the reason is something on Camera Raw, photoshop cos did not open or even acknowledged raw files if I tried to open it directly without Lightroom.

    I installed all the Adobe programs still did not work. After that I raise Creative suite cleanin tool which I used and it brought a solution. A moment ago, all is well again, but the main reason for this behavior is not found.

    So something serious is wrong but don't know what to do if only solve own anything to bad behavior of applications.

  • caviggia files and dialog boxes (the role of Qt, Flex, etc) post-ADM

    After a few years of having to put my development efforts well enough hold him, I'm now back in the thick of it and work to get my CS3 (and so - CS5) plugins updated to CS6 and beyond. With the disappearance of the ADM, it seems to be quite a wild west as far as UI goes. First (if I remember), we were encouraged to use Flash, Flex, and now HTML5. What most developers using, especially smaller developers?

    Make a palette (now called a sign?) seems simple enough using native Xcode and Visual Studio, although there is a lot of extra coding for each platform. I see that the swirl sample plugin uses a file of .zxp in addition to the file of Betty. A caviggia file does not contain enough information for these controls, although it is apparently enough for the EmptyPanel project? I am not happy to find plenty of platform-specific reminders, etc., but do not want to submit my clients to an awkward two-step setup with the Extensions Manager process, either. Nor do I really had the time to become competent in several new programming languages.

    My plugins often use modal dialog boxes, but I can't find an example of how to apply them without an Interface separate editor. I already has many palettes/panels that you almost an extra monitor just for all, so I'd rather not have to go Park that route - but if I have to. Am I correct in guessing this is better done in Xcode (somehow) with a view with a window in Interface Builder? I'm sure that Visual Studio is not easy or intuitive.

    Golly, developing a plugin would be so MUCH easier if it was somehow possible using XOJO, which is simpler that C++ and completely cross-platform, including a great WYSIWYG editor, or even better if ADM dialog/control have been revised to work with the new user interface.

    I would greatly appreciate comments and recommendations for porting to CS6 and beyond, keeping in mind I'm an illustrator of trade and a self-taught programmer who writes plugins in my "spare" time

    TIA - Rick

    I think that a lot of small developers simply abandoned, and which perhaps explains why this forum is so quiet now. Personally, I use Flex. When Adobe has HTML5, they said that they would have begun to remove flash products support Creative Cloud in the middle of 2014. There are also rumours that they would stop Extension Manager. I don't think they did either again.

    The zxp file is an Extension Manager installer for the installation of the part of the user interface of the plugin, which is built from other files. Betty files are only used to set the entry point and name of plugin. All the stuff of the user interface are now in mxml flex for files and html html5 files, or native code, as in EmptyPanel.

    I am not happy to find plenty of platform-specific reminders, etc., but do not want to submit my clients to an awkward two-step setup with the Extensions Manager process, either. Nor do I really had the time to become competent in several new programming languages.

    You can include the zxp UI file in another zxp file that also contains the plugin by creating a hybrid extension, so that it looks like the user that they install only one thing.

    http://www.Adobe.com/devnet/creativesuite/articles/hybrid-extensions.html

    The suite of AIUser has functions for the display of message boxes (* alert functions) and also has functions to display the file picker and color picker dialog boxes. There is also one to get a string of the user (GetInputFromUser), but if you need anything with more controls, you have to build your own dialog boxes. I would recommend this doing flex/HTML5 rather than as a native window to maintain the look and feel of the Illustrator.

    Golly, developing a plugin would be so MUCH easier if it was somehow possible using XOJO, which is simpler that C++ and completely cross-platform, including a great WYSIWYG editor, or even better if ADM dialog/control have been revised to work with the new user interface.

    Yes, Adobe could simply write a conversion layer to convert WMD in which that is the language of the INTERFACE now takes their fancy, but instead, they decided it would be best to plugin developers to rewrite their code whenever they decide to change the user interface.

  • reason for commas not allowed in the dialog box select text resource

    Hello
    I use jdev 11.1.2.2 and I was quite surprised by not being able to put the comma in the key in the dialog box select text resource. This behavior forces me to change the resource group by hand and not through this dialog box.
    Is there a reason for this undocumented? Because in my teams, nobody thinks that something like:
    mainTable.header=header Text
    secondTable.header=different Text
    is worse than the variant with underscore...

    If I interpret things the way that I think you mean, for example in the dialog select a text key resource cannot be a string without a period (or comma never seen that myself) as a separator, then the explanation is simple.
    This function of "convenience" of a resource string mapping depends on the access of the implicit getter of the Expression language.
    for example, the created EL is in the form #{viewcontrollerBundle.key}, which corresponds to the bundle.get ('key'); in terms of java.
    To support the use of the period (or the comma!) inside the key, the generated form will have to implement: #{viewcontrollerBundle ['key']} otherwise an example like this:
    #{viewcontrollerBundle.mainTable.header} would be generated which, in words EL would be mapped (as a Variant) with bundle.getMainTable () .getHeader () because of the way periods are interpreted in EL.
    So basically, the dialog box is properly in the light of the real EL that is generated.
    All this side - it is a known restriction and 12, we changed the EL format to the more flexible form in this case and therefore the dialog box will accept periods.

  • Dialog box confirm boxes are too wide for the page and disappear on the right side in the sites we develop. It's new. How to fix?

    In Windows and Mac confirmation dialog boxes are open now too wide. It extends on the right side of the page and therefore mask the user action buttons. The site has no horizontal scroll bar.

    Native Subforums have no useful information on this subject. Any help is greatly appreciated

    Hello again, here's the example as promised.

    To use the native filebrowse dialog box, the native code must run in its own thread to prevent the user interface in the Cascades to block. This is achieved by encapsulating all the dialog box code in a class derived from QThread.  The class I wrote is called FileBrowseDialog

    This class derives from QObject (by QThread) which means that it can be used by QML when it exposes properties and signals. The FileBrowseDialog class has 3 properties

    -multiple selection: a Boolean flag indicating if single or multiple selection is allowed

    -filepaths: a read only value that returns the list of files selected

    -Filters: a read/write value is where you can specify one or more filters to file (for example, ".doc", "*.jpg") etc.

    The next part is how you call the FileBrowseDialog through the QML. To do this, we must inform the QML of the FileBrowseDialog page. This is done in the App class via the qmlregistertype code.

    App.cpp

    #include
    #include
    #include

    #include "app.hpp"
    #include "FileBrowseDialog.hpp"

    using namespace bb::cascades;

    App::App()
    {
        qmlRegisterType("Dialog.FileBrowse", 1, 0, "FileBrowseDialog");
        QmlDocument *qml = QmlDocument::create("main.qml");
        qml->setContextProperty("cs", this);

        AbstractPane *root = qml->createRootNode();
        Application::setScene(root);
    }

    The QML is now ready to be able to use the FileBrowseDialog. The example below is a page complete qml which has a button and a label. When we click on the FileBrowseDialog button is open, and all selected files will appear in the label.

    Main.QML

    import bb.cascades 1.0
    import Dialog.FileBrowse 1.0

    Page {
        content: Container {
            Label { id: filebrowseDialogLabel }
            Button {
                text : "File Browse Dialog"
                onClicked: {
                    filebrowseDialog.show();
                }
            }
            attachedObjects: [
                FileBrowseDialog {
                    id: filebrowseDialog
                    multiselect : true
                    filters : ["*.doc","*.jpg","*.txt"]
                    onSelectionCompleted: {
                        if(filebrowseDialog.filepaths.length>0)
                            filebrowseDialogLabel.text = filebrowseDialog.filepaths[0];
                        else
                            filebrowseDialogLabel.text = "no file selected";
                    }
                    onSelectionCancelled: {
                        filebrowseDialogLabel.text = "file browse dialog was cancelled";
                    }
                }
            ]
        }
    }

    And it's pretty much just invoke the native dialog file navigation in stunts. Please note save the file would follow a similar model, but I found that this dialog box was not particularly useful because it displays only a simple dialogbox with a text file name entry.

    See you soon

  • Preliminary dialog boxes in setting levels

    I use Photioshop CS on a Mac with OS 10.4.11 (PPC) G4.

    It's a very basic question, I'm afraid, but nevertheless, I hope that someone will direct me in the right direction.

    If I choose the Image/adjustments/levels, what I see right now is the dialog levels with its histogram and controls. But if I choose layer/new adjustment layer/levels, I first see a dialog as shown in the first example below.Picture 1.png

    If I then click 'Color', it expands to my second example.below.

    Picture 2.png

    I have experimented with the choice of different colors in the second menu drop down and sees no effect on what I'm doing later in the main levels dialog box, or on the image I am edition. (A similar situation obtains if I select a hue and Saturation adjustment layer).

    I looked for help from Photoshop and a great book on Photoshop that I have in my possession, but I can't find out explanations of what they are for and these preliminary dialog boxes. I would be very grateful for any advice.

    You choose the COLOR of the LABEL itself when you choose a color adjustment layer to fall down.

    Immortal one layer, and then choose the blue in this list. Make a second, then choose red. Now, highlight each layer and note the color in the layers panel that fills up the left place of the name of the layer visibility (the eye).
