• ATV4 is unable to see WiFi networks

  Each time my new ATV4 (TvOS 9.2.1) will lose the WiFi connection. When I try to reconnect it "sees" no WiFi network at all.   This procedure is a diagnostic test. It is unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

  The test is intended to determine if the problem is caused by a third-party software that loads automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.

  Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

  Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

  Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

  The login screen is displayed even if you usually connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

  Test in safe mode. Same problem?

  -If I connect MacMini to A / V but with TV off the coast and their TV display, Panel it s ok...

  After several tests, I found this failure:

  The problem is that...

  1 - If connect MacMini using A / V, refresh rate it s 30 Hz and has / V Don t support this rate (so the screen is black but sounds it s ok with AV, only a black screen it s) (see VNC capture). But nevertheless this same config live TV HDMI TV turns on screen

  

  2 - If power on MacMini and connect to AV but turn off the TV, display config has 50/60 Hz and disappears 4 k resolutions.

  

  3 - the last time, with steep 2, config 1920 x 1080 60 Hz for example and turn them on TV (don't forget the MacMini using AV) display see the config and turn on the TV on! (only display is black if I touch any resolution because that change again 30 Hz).

  

  I think the problem is that MacMini use 30 Hz and AV Pioneer Don t support this rate so my question is: How can I force the refresh rate is 60 Hz forever?

  I'm missing something, or in other words I couldn't download as a kind of package that might be postponed on a drive and then copied on the Z560?

  By checking the final error you posted you had obtained (Error Details: Code 80070490) I could find this error code 0 x 80070490 when you use Windows Update or Microsoft Update to install updates from Microsoft support document. When opened it should be a pop-up with a fix and it is safe to click.

• Error Apple El Capitan Photoshop CC issues

  I just got my new Macmini and have spent many hours it get up and running.  Today is my first use of Photoshop.  I cannot perform all functions without this error: "Could not complete your request because of a program error".  My Photoshop installation from my Time Machine backup using Apple migration assistant.  This migration installs EACH application and prior settings intact.  Obviously something was wrong with the transfer of Photoshop.  I upgraded my Mac to get more power out of my photo work.  Now we can't do anything.

• Mac OS 10.8 VM cannot reach subnet VLANS / different from the host with Fusion 5

  I have a server of Mac Mini significantly improved, high-top of the range, operating behind a firewall, Zyxel USG.  As the host, the Mac Mini runs a server OS X 10.8 virtualized with VMware Fusion 5 (mainly as an e-mail server).  To avoid opening the ports directly to the host-MacMini and LAN1 to better customize security and settings area, I want to put the virtual machine on VLAN1.

  However, no package VLAN is pass to the virtual machine.  I tried two configurations:

  Home > VLAN1 in Network preferences > VMware Fusion set to network via VLAN1 bridge > comments "Ethernet" connects effectively to the VLAN1

  Home > (LAN1) Ethernet in Network preferences > set VMware Fusion to bridge network through LAN1 > comments > add VLAN1 to guest network preferences

  In both situations, * zero packets * make out of the VM/comments on VLAN1.

  My suspicion is that VMware Fusion 5 does not support packages VLAN marked.

  Advice/suggestions for how to get the virtual machine to join VLAN1 or really, just a different subnet?  Are there drivers tagging VLAN for VMware Fusion 5?

  The FIXED - partially, at least.

  It had to do with the package being truncated by VMware.  After I have configured VLAN1 on the host, and then in the hardware parameters, chose 'Jumbo Packet Size'.  Then I jumpered the VM via connection host VLAN1.  ALTO!  This works.

  However, trying to connect to the virtual machine as a direct customer of VLAN1 is always unsuccessful. The virtual machine which truncates the packets when it sends them between the host and the guest (and vice versa).  However, if tagging VLAN is the host to level (as I have it configured), then the virtual machine can communicate successfully on the VIRTUAL LAN.

  Here are the steps.

  MacMini and Mac:

  1. Open Photoshop
  2. Open any image
  3. Switch to the pen tool, tool buffer or any tool that uses the button Option key as a modifier
  4. Draw a few points, sample,.
  5. Now, try to change an anchor point using the tool anchor to convert or sample using the stamp tool. Just hold down the option key and drag.
  6. WOAH! My entire application moves and the modifier does not, instead change the XY of the application window.

  Find out what... When I do that on my side of my MBPr friends, that's fine. Infact I do editing on his sidebecuase of it. I just noticed that he was doing this at work. I do not use PS a lot at work, for the most part Illutsrator.
