  Sorry, the Photosmart 6250 has not a way to 'know' the cartridge is empty, it was just an estimate.  The low ink indicator is designed to give a warning to allow you to have the time to have a replacement cartridge if necessary.

• Disable registration new user

  Hello.  We are currently running IOM 11.1.2.2 and we an internal deployment only.  We wanted to disable the link "registration new user" on the Self Service login page so that our users can not create additional users that are not needed.

  All of our users will be added for connection of IOM through the reconciliation of our trusted source so there is no need to have the new record button available user because we believe that this would cause confusion.

  I searched a bit changed the system is Self-Regisration allowed property and changed the value false and saved the changes.  However, the record button new user is still visible if I navigate to the self-service login page.  Is there another step I need to take to hide the button, or it is even possible to hide the button?

  I have a new HP Photosmart 5520 printer all-in-one.  Black ink ran out so I replaced it with a previously used ink cartridge which is of the same type # 564 but a XL version.  This cartridge has been barely used.  Now, I just can't get anything to print in black.  It will print in color, but not black.  I tried to turn off the printer.  I put the cartridge in my printer and it worked fine.  What should I do?

• New PhotoSmart 7510 print does not correctly

  I have a new 7510, replacing one PhotoSmart more old.  I have 2 problems with printing.  First - when you print an email the top and bottom of the headings are cut, print off the page.  Is there a setting I can adjust for this problem?

  Second - when I print photos I get a small thin strip of white at the top of each photo.  I feel no margins selected in Picasa as well as in the printer settings.  I am an avid scrapbooking need full size 4 by 6 photos to print.

  Nice day! I am trying to solve a problem for a customer and I hope that someone can help you. I found a couple of other discussions with the people affected by this problem, but the solution did not help. My client has a Photosmart 7510 is all new and it made me get setup for him. The printer is configured, connected to its wireless network, the software is installed on his PC 3 and I can print of each of them. However, we are not able to activate the Services Web is a key reason that he bought the device.

  When we try to turn on Web Services, the printer successfully checks for an update (none are available) but then times out during the server communicating with Web Services... scene. I get the same result if I try to activate Web Services via the printer, thanks to its web Interface or via the installer driver on a PC. Depending on the Network Configuration Page, the printer is properly take an IP address (including DNS) from the router. I tried to set an IP through the web INTERFACE as well by changing the DNS servers 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 with no improvement. I tried power cycling router of my client and I also tried setting the parameters of encryption on the printer manually instead of using the automatic mode. All computers, my laptop and iPad can use Internet very well, but Web Services will not be activated on this printer.

  Is there any other suggestions that I can try? Is it possible that Web Services are just down right now? This particular unit is defective? My client bought this partially to access ePrint impression from his iPad, so it is essential we get active Web Services. If anyone can help, I would be very happy. Thank you!

  The servers are being updates not scheduled at this time.  The best thing to do is to wait 1 to 2 hours at least and to 24 hours, then try again.  If this is not enough, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

  I got a brand new HP Photosmart Premium Fax e-All-in-One Printer-C410a Monday. Today is Wednesday, and I have yet to print a two-sided copy successfully. It will print the first side of a page, pull the paper in the duplex unit, display clear paper jam then press O message, and I'll open the duplexer and remove the paper

  Recto pages seem to print very well, but this product every time I try to print double-sided copies - the duplexer has not worked once.

  The jammed paper that I am deleting is not torn or badly crumpled, and since he's out of the box for three days now, I can't believe he would already need cleaning. Is there something obvious that I'm missing, or do I just to cart this thing at the store?

  seems to have solved my problem, at least for now. I'm not clear on why a brand new printer, charge-out-of-the-box if need cleaning to work properly, but if that's all it took, at least, it's a good solution cheap and fairly easy.

  I tried to register the new Protocol (thunderlink, rdp, etc.) and I was looking at him with web workflowy todo list.   I'm trying to set up my printer HP Photosmart 6520 for the first time.

  The printer is connected to my wireless router.

  My computers and iPads can access and print using the printer.

  BUT when I try to use Web tools

  (1) product update,

  (2) activate ePrint or

  (3) enable Web Services

  I get the error message USELESS "Problem connecting to the server of Web Services"

  I am able to connect to the Internet using a web browser, so I don't have an ISP issue.

  I'll put in place the printer at home behind a NetGear wireless router.

  The implementation for the browser does not use a proxy, so I have no proxy information.

  Is anyone able to help.
