  Have you tried the tool teeth whiten under quick edit?

  You have selected the toothbrush and then select the teeth and whitening is applied automatically.

  Optionally, you can go to the layers in Expert mode to fine tune the result.

  How to use the tool of teeth whitening? I can selct the area... then don't know what to do next to apply it, please help?

  An alternative to teeth whitening tools:

  -Select and feather teeth 1 or 2 px.

  -Enhance > adjust color > Hue/Saturation, or add a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer.

  -Menu, choose yellow.

  -Lower the Saturation to remove yellow.

  -Increase the lightness.

  Here, I moved Saturation all the lightness channel left and changed to + 50.

• I have lightroom 4, but there is no softening of the skin, teeth or adjustment of eyes effect. How to do it?

  Create your own predefined for any purpose.

  With the current brush, the sliders tool and click on the drop down menu "Save current settings as new preset", save with a meaningful name.

  For example. (these are from change points to your wishes)

  Eye drops (for whitening): Exhibition + 1.5, Saturation of the facts highlights + 40 - 60.

  Teeth whitening: exhibition + 0.5, Saturation - 25, contrast-15.

  Skin powder: contrast - 50, clarity - 100, sharpness - 100.

  Hair shine: contrast + 30, + 40, Saturation + 20 clarity

  Many ways to make all these changes. Here's what I did:

  1. to remove the folds, painted on them with the blur tool.

  2. for small eyes:

  -chosen the other eye using the Lasso tool

  -copy and paste the selection into a new layer

  -returned the layer horizontally

  -use the move tool to position the layer on the smaller eye and the rotation of the layer to get the alignment correct eye

  3. for teeth whitening:

  -Choose the teeth using the Lasso tool

  -apply a levels adjustment where I moved the left output levels slider to the right

  4. to change the color of lipstick:

  -Choose the lips using the Lasso tool

  -apply a Hue/Saturation adjustment, where I played a bit with the hue and Saturation sliders to get a bright red

  

• Brushes of Lightroom?

  Hello

  I am new to Lightroom and I cannot understand what exactly is the difference between the brushes.

  In photoshop, for example, a brush can be used to create forms / models / masking / adjustments etc, so I can understand the need for different multiples in the form of brushes.

  I've seen sites selling brushes of Lightroom, and so-called "Brush face", for example "Teeth whitening brush", "Marriage Brush", "HDR Brush" etc etc.

  However, all these brushes seem to be the same (circular), so I don't understand why it takes more than 1 brush?

  I hope you understand where I come from on this dilemma.

  Could someone please explain in simple terms, exactly why some brushes are described as being for certain tasks, if they are all the same?

  Lightroom already has a number of built-in brush pre-sets. If you select the adjustment Brush tool, simply click on the drop down to the right of the effect of the speech. Consider parameters suggested cursor for certain tasks, but you are free to twist them or create your own custom settings.

• Lightroom adjustment brush suddenly does not work as it did before

  I work on some photos and use the adjustment brush effects (softening, teeth Whitener, etc.). When using these effects, I left the preset values and they worked very well on the images I just changed. However all of a sudden I noticed that any effect of brush has been improved a LOT more when I started to edit another picture in the game. For example, the teeth whitening is suddenly VERY white and the edges are so obvious, but the values have not changed. I rechecked all my teeth before bleaching and the values are the same. I quit Lightroom and restarted but the problem persists. If anyone has experienced this? Any solution? Thank you

  Thank you Benedict. But I think that my problem was that I had accidentally changed the pen of the brush to zero using one of the shortcut keys. Now that I put back it to 100 it seems to work again. See when I was clicking on a previous setting (eg. a teeth whitening)-it shows me exposure, clarity values, etc., but it doesn't tell me the details of the brush that I was using (pen, flow, density) - brush values remain the same, if you click a setting previous or not - and that's why I thought that the previous setting has been done using the current settings and so why I wasn't with the same settings I was confused get different results.

• Problems with LR and Mac release brush

  Help when I use my Bush of adjustment that it does not work correctly when you use the program in my iMac.  For example, if I use the teeth whitening, when I get to the teeth of the setting circle turns into a black slider.  Ditto for the spotting.

  Please turn off the graphics processor of Lightroom preferences.

  Open Lightroom

  Go to Lightroom preferences in the Edit menu

  Click the performance tab

  Deselect the graphics processor

  Restart Lightroom

• Missing Lightroom brushes

  Hello!  I recently transferred from a PC to a Macbook Pro and now my lightroom preset are missing and I tried to restore them and nothing works. I have only dodge, burn, iris enhance, soften the skin and teeth whitening.

  The default values provided, and "restore default" simply these Replace. Sounds as if you have made or downloaded, others on your PC?

  In the preferences of LR (on the PC), go to the Presets tab and there is a button "Show Lightroom presets folder. This tells you the location of a folder called Lightroom, inside of which are records of LR presets. One if not for the adjustment brush and brush control templates that you have made, will be inside.

  Copy these to the place on your Mac (accessed the same way) and then restart Lightroom.

  The same method applies to develop presets, export presets, etc. Some, such as print presets. may be not transferable, since they can refer to an another print driver. But most of this is platform-independent and (AFAIK) will work even on a Mac and a PC.

  The same method is also applicable for more information, which refers to the LR and ACR, as the specific camera to default values are processed. Also all profiles calibration camera and profiles of lens correction, you may have made or downloaded (apart from the built-in ones). It's all found in a folder CameraRaw who is sitting next to the Lightroom one, and who can be treated in the same way.

• Set a rectangle

  I bought Photoshop elements for a class I'm taking, and our first task is to use a template provided teacher and draw inside. For this I need to use the "Marquee rectangle" tool I believe it is called, which is missing from my toolbar. I have only very basic tools as reducing red-eye, teeth whitening, etc.. Photoshop elements not come included with other tools? I've never used Photoshop before so maybe I'm missing something obvious. I'm working on a 64-bit PC with windows. I tried to watch the tutorials and by raising my problem online, but all videos only tells me how to retrieve my tools sidebar if it is absent. So I hope that someone knows what's going on, I will include a screenshot. Thank you!

  

  You're in expert mode. The tool is to the right of the move tool upward from the tools Panel. Or simply press M on the keyboard to select the area of framing. In the options toolbar at the bottom there is a choice between the rectangle and ellipse. Hold the shift whist by dragging with the tool gives more options.

  Ellipse-shift gives a circle

  Rectangle + shift gives a square

• How do I change LR5 develop settings to the way they worked with LR4?

  I was uncomfortable with the way in which the development parameters worked with LR4.  Now when I use the brush teeth whitening or soften the skin gives a red tint to the brush, and then applies the adjustment when you tap done.  I prefer the shape of LR4 to apply the adjustment immediately with the brush stroke.  So is it possible to come back?
