ehRecord.exe - is - this?
Sometimes - it's happened twice so far - when I start my laptop it has a new icon in the system tray. When I mouse over it the ToolTip says "Look at me". When I just the click of a mouse button I get the dialogue options 'view', 'Missile launch' and 'Exit '. The 'exit' options "View dialog box" do nothing and I'm not want to choose "launch missile.
I can't close it via the Manager tasks - I noticed the "ehRecord.exe" process, which I don't recognize, so I closed this process and the icon disappeared.
What is this icon? Is this a virus? Malware? I can find very little about it on the net, but what I can see, seems to indicate that it has something to do with TV on the pc. But I had this pc for more than 2 years, have not installed anything recently, do not watch TV on the pc (and have not implemented) - and it's only recently started to happen (in the last two months or almost).
Thanks for any help.
Hello
If it quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck. I can't find any good information on a file with this name, and of course sound symptoms like a virus. I would work with tools such as Autoruns and HiJackThis to remove entries from charging for it.
Autoruns: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902
HiJackThis: http://download.cnet.com/Trend-Micro-HijackThis/3000-8022_4-10227353.html
Once the charges are removed, restart in safe mode and run a full scan of the system with an up-to-date antivirus product.

in the Task Manager, processes is called xxfirefox.exe is - this legitimate?
Upgrade to Firefox 9, when I look in the Task Manager, the name is XXFIREFOX.exe. Firefox has been hijacked or is the new name for the v4?
The main Firefox process is always named firefox.exe in Windows 32-bit operating systems.
I would be very suspicious of a process named XXFIREFOX.exe. My advice is to run a full scan with your anti-virus software, and who does not find a problem if doing a "search > for files and folders" for this executable.

Method 1:
Step 1:

Except the keyboard and mouse and then start. If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue. Then get any drivers\software update for the device.

Firefox - wraped.exe what this FILE? Please explain it to me
When I try to run firefox which is the name of the file and ask me for the ions of permit to open which will never happen before... is this normal?
I think the uninstalling and reinstalling might be necessary, but all first, you can check your Firefox shortcut properties? If you right click on the shortcut on the desktop, then choose Properties, the target must be:
"C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla.
If the other file is in the list, try to set it by default. Not sure, it will remain, but it's worth a try.
If you do not uninstall, I recommend you backup your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See your backup information. (You can copy your profile folder Firefox together somewhere outside the Mozilla folder).
When you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, the entire program.
Make sure you get your new source Firefox: http://www.mozilla.com/
Good luck.
